    what is the use of  dropdown box in wad in bi-7

    Hi,
         Dropdown box in WAD is for changing the output of full or particular part of template at runtime.
    For Eg. suppose u have states in dropdown box and u want the output of according to particular state then u select that state from dropdown box. so the output comes accordingly.
    For doing these u have to assign a data provider to dropdown box which query give the output of states. and in the property of dropdown box u hav to assign the item which will affect by this dorpdown box.
    I think it will help u.
    Assign Point if it helps.

  • 24 digital I/O lines on the BNC-2090A rack mount.

    Dear all,
    I am using a PCI-6221 DAQ card connected to a BNC-2090A rack mount. The digital I/O sping terminal block on the rack mount is a shown in the image bellow. The PCI-6221 card has 3 ports of digital I/O with 8 lines for each port. I tested which line corresponds to which terminal and came up with the following representation shown in red, where e.g. P2-2 corresponds to Port 2 - Line 2 etc. However, it seems that Port 1 - Line 0 is not represented by any of the sping terminals.
    Is there a way to obtain an I/O on the rack mount for this particular line so that I have 24 lines available in total instead of just 23? Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    Hi,
    I think you are correct that the PFI0 line is not represented by any of the spring terminals.  It looks instead like it's represented by a BNC Connector.  You can see that on page 2-1 of the BNC-2090A manual:

  • What is the open File Dialog box

    I am using a "File Browse..." item. With firefox a user can click on the provided Browse button or the corresponding text area to choose a file. However with IE7 the file dialog box on appears if the user clicks on the browse button.
    Can someone tell me what javascript can be used to open a file dialog box? (what is called when the browse button is clicked)
    Thanks.

    Thanks Carl,
    I thought APEX was doing some crazy javascropt stuff because I forgot about a style I had set.
    Anyway, I was getting an error if an IE7 user types in a crazy string into the file dialog box and hit submit (since it is not a file). So instead of preventing it I just used a try/catch block in my custom doSubmit. If anyone else runs into this here is a little javascript to help:
    (I am used a uploading image, Carl has an example of that somewhere)
    <pre>
    function doSubmit(r) {
    if (ser_changed.length > 0) {
         if (r == "UPLOAD" || r == "SAVE_CHANGES" {
              flowSelectAll();
              $x_Value('pRequest',r)
    if (r == "UPLOAD") {
    try {                              /// this is where my fix is.
              document.wwv_flow.submit();
    catch(err) {
    html_HideElement('AjaxLoading');
    alert('Invalid file');
    } else {
    document.wwv_flow.submit();
                   }//save changes and stuff as request.
    else {
              var ans = confirm("You are about to exit the page without saving your changes!" + '\n' + "Click cancel to return to the page.");
              if (ans) {
              flowSelectAll();
              $x_Value('pRequest',r);
              document.wwv_flow.submit();
              }//when yes!
    $x('CANCEL_BUTT').disabled=false;
                   }//not save changes and stuff
              }//when there were changes made.
              else {
                             flowSelectAll();
              $x_Value('pRequest',r);
              document.wwv_flow.submit();
              }//where there were not changes made
         }//doSubmit
    </pre>
    <pre>
    function html_Submit_Progress(pThis,topass){
              if(pThis.nodeName=='INPUT'){pThis.value='...Loading...'}
    else{pThis.innerHTML='...Loading...'};
              html_ShowElement('AjaxLoading');
    window.setTimeout('$x("wait").src = $x("wait").src', 100);
    doSubmit(topass);
    </pre>

    I remember years back finding a National Instruments webpage that showed all the Labview colored "wires" and "boxes" and what they meant.  Does anyone know where that is now and/or if it still exsists??  For example a "magenta" box was a string...green was a boolean..

  • Newbie: what are the specs on my box?

    We've recently installed a SunFire x2100. I need to get all the hardware specs -- processor type and speed, memory, etc.
    I can't find a specific model number on the server itself, and I could not find a place to get hardware specs anywhere on the menus in the gui.
    Where do I look?
    The server does have a label that says "SysPN 602-3038-01", if that helps.

    There's a long-standing mantra that was spoken and repeated
    over and over again in the old Sun Hardware forums
    (before the March 30, 2006 merging into a single forum website) ...
    "The Sun System Handbook is Your Friend ..."
    "The Sun System Handbook is Your Friend ..."
    "The Sun System Handbook is Your Friend ..."
    The public (free) X2100 System page in the SSH is:
    http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/Systems/SunFireX2100_R/SunFireX2100_R.html
    You might consider adding the general Handbook link to your bookmarks.
    http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_pub/
    It comes in handy every so often.
    Additionally, with a Sunsolve login account (service contract) you can have access to more information at:
    http://sunsolve.sun.com/handbook_private/
    That 602-3038-01 number is a Sun-internal number.
    There's no cross-reference chart published anywhere, publicly.
    It appears on your packing list and in Sun-internal records.
    It is called a "top level number" and is used to generate a pick list when
    your particular model of computer was assembled in the factory.
    That 'pick list' would show the various parts required to make your system,
    and is based upon available models, plus whatever you ordered.
    If the SSH page doesn't have enough information for you,
    you can review the system's packing list,
    or you can contact your Sun account representative and discuss the issue.

  • IN MATERIAL MASTER RECORD WHAT IS THE USE OF CLASS TYPE(CLASSIFICATION VIEW

    Hi Guys,
    Can you please explain what are the different critiria to use different class type and what exactly meaning of the each class type with respect to Material classification.
    Any material available on this to study. Please give link.
    Thanks,
    Dhanu

    Hi,
    Purpose
    The classification system allows you to use characteristics to describe all types of objects, and to group similar objects in classes u2013 to classify objects, in other words, so that you can find them more easily later.
    You then use the classes to help you to find objects more easily, using the characteristics defined in them as search criteria. This ensures that you can find objects with similar or identical characteristics as quickly as possible.
    Integration
    The classification system allows you to classify all types of object. First, you must define certain settings in Customizing for the classification system. For more information, see Customizing for the Classification System.
    SAP has predefined a number of object types (for example, materials, and equipment). The settings for these object types have already been defined in Customizing, so you can start to set up your classification system for these object types without defining further settings.
    Features
    Before you can use classification functions, you need to set up your classification system.
    The there are three steps to setting up a classification system:
    Defining the Properties of Objects
    You use characteristics to describe the properties of objects. You create characteristics centrally in the SAP R/3 System.
    See the SAP Library, Characteristics (CA-CL-CHR).
    Creating Classes
    You need classes to classify objects. These classes must be set up. During set up you must assign characteristics to the classes.
    Assigning Objects
    Once you have created the classes you require for classification, you can assign objects to these classes. You use the characteristics of the class to describe the objects you classify.
    This completes the data you require to use your classification system. You can then use your classification system to find objects that match the criteria you require.
    Once you have set up the classification system you can use it to find certain objects. To do this:
    Find a class in which objects are classified
    Find the object(s) you require in the class
    When you use classification to find objects, you use the characteristics as search criteria, and the system compares the values you enter with the values of the classified objects.

  • What is the max sampling frequency of a BNC-2120

    my windows platform is NT and i have labview 6.1

    Hi Ulises,
    I don't quite undersatnd what you mean? The BNC-2120 is a connector block which interfaces to E-Series and 671x boards. The BNC-2120 simplifies the connection of real world signals to the DAQ device. There is no sampling rate you can set. The limiting factor of the samplingrate is the DAQ Device you're using, not the BNC-2120.
    I hope I haven't misunderstood your question.

  • What is the importance of Rcpt/Issu classification codes in J1I5 transaction

    Dear CIN experts,
    I search lot for mentioned subject. But not cleared with what is the significance of classification, what it has effect if I select IIM or IPD etc.
    Kindly share the information related to this.
    Thanks & regards
    Subhash

    Hi
    The Mentioned Classifications are helpful to update the RG23A Part 1 and RG23C Part 1  Registers.
    Based on receipts and issues only we can update J1I5.
    Suppose if your receipts are less and issue are high in the table level(J_1IRGSUM) then while updating the J1I5 system won't allow to update the register.
    So Receipts and Issues are most important while updating the Registers.

  • How does QoS work with WAAS WCCP? What's the interaction between QoS Traffic Classification and WAE Traffic Application Policy?

    How does QoS work with WAAS WCCP? What's the interaction between Router QoS Traffic Classification and WAE Traffic Application Policy?

    By default, WAAS preserves the DSCP marking on intercepted packets.  There is a configuration option to set/override the DSCP value at the global (device), application, and classifier levels.  Currently WAAS provides marking only.  There is no action taken by WAAS based on the DSCP value.
