I would like to test queries without using the BEX.. is there a transaction i can execute in a BW system?

After launching my query, i click on input help for the Product ID field, and get this error:
"Storage form of product ID not yet defined in Customizing".
Is the BI Content Developer responsible for this, or as indicated, System Admin?

Diagnosis
You have specified a purely numeric product ID. Since product IDs of this kind can be saved
in different ways, the way required needs to be defined in your system.
Procedure
Ask your system administrator to define how purely numeric product IDs are to be saved.
Procedure for System Administration
The system could not convert the product ID to the database format because it has not yet
been defined whether product IDs are to be saved lexicographically or not. Make the setting
required in Customizing for Products in Define Output Format and Storage Form of Product IDs.

there is no transaction code for where-used-list..
its one of the buttons in application tool bar which if you click will tell you where,in which program or tables etc this object is used.
to retrieve the previous delivery quantity and quantity delivered for a particular material with reference to both material document number and material number,
use tables likp lips and mara and use material number and document number in where condtion.

Go to SE16N transaction code.
Now you enter the table name ex: u201CMKPF u201C, if u wants to insert the values.
in Command bar
you enter the transaction code u201C &SAP_EDIT u201D.
Press enter.
Then click on execute button.
Now here I would like to change some data.
Here we can do any operation in application tool bar.
Enter values
And click on save button.

By default, transaction type 500 should be defined in Customizing for depreciation posting.

MASTER_IDOC_DISTRIBUTE fm is used to create a IDOC for outbound & for inbound
try this
you can use master_ale_distribute function module to create the idoc.but before that you need to populate two internal table to pass in to this function module.
1.it_edidc = this internal table tells the port,partner profile etc.this internal table having the same structure of edidc table
2,second you create the internal table conatains the data records.this table got the the structure of edid4.
3.populate these two internal table and pass this to this function module
4.you can populate the second internal table from your flat file by writing some upload program

I, have tried to install windows 8.1 in my mac; OS X LIon 10.7.5. got ISO image in my dvd disc and when I was in the stage of installation it wont recognizie my ISO file in DVD Disc. So I, am thinking of purchasing Blue-ray drive. So the question what is the best way to test Superdrive and if It's confirmed to be the culprit. I would want to buy BLue-ray drive. is it compatible with my MAC OS X Lion 10.7.5.

If you don't need the extra ports on the MacBook Pro, the only benefit to a Pro would be that you can choose a largrer screen size. MacBook Pro goes up to 17", MacBook Air goes up to 13". If you don't care, go with the Air.
