Your setup works fine for DV, because you used a DV deck and most likely DV footage. But now you are working with 720p HD footage (what format, BTW? HDV, dvcpro HD?). That same setup won't work for monitoring HD. Now you need an HD box or card to send out a proper HD signal. And since you have an older G5, you won't find any current solutions. You'll have to look at used capture cards that are PCIx. Or you and look at the Matrox MXO, that connects to the computer via a monitor connection. DVI.

I just got an HTC Rezound, and I put some apps from my old phone onto my sim card hoping I could transfer them into the Rezound. At the Verizon store the Verizon guy said it didn't work. Any suggestions? Also, when I look under My Device on the computer on the Verizon Wireless page, under Device Actions I get the message above: Unlock sim (puk) now. Any ideas what that might mean?

I used to get that message. Take the sim out and put it back in. That's all I did. Think it just wasn't connected well.

Why is the unlock so slow now?

For a week or so (i would guess it coincides with the latest iPod software update) my iPod has been slow to unlock after moving the slider. What used to be almost instant now takes 5-10 seconds. What is going on?
i've already reset the entire iPod and that did not fix it.
also, podcasts are getting lost since the update. they now show up under other in a category that's either blank or just called the wrong thing.
but the unlock is the worst. can anyone help me?

If you mean you restored the iPod, that is not the same as a reset.
Try resetting: Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home button down at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
You won't lose any data as a result of resetting your device.

What is the deal with itunes now?

It won't let me add music properly to my iPhone. It keeps saying so and so file not synced iPhone was disconnected during transfer. I never touched it at all. I am having alot of issues with this. I can't remove purchased music from my iPhone now either. I just want a specific set of music on their not everything I purchased HELP!

I never set either passcode but Restrictions required one to get in so I tried a typical passcode that I might have used. It didn't work so I tried 0000 and it worked.

Whether JavaScript was enabled was not a problem. It was enabled by default and anyone who disabled it should have had no problem finding it again. The three actions which were blocked unless the user also enabled them respectively were what mattered. Beginning in 2009 Apple began using hard disks with integrated fan sensors, this means you should replace with drives that offer that. I'd recommend contacting OWC (www.macsales.com) and asking what drives they recommend. Either that or visit a local AASP and get their recommendations.

ManSinha is incorrect. CDMA carriers don't whitelist IMEI numbers. They have to enter the MEID number for the CDMA device into their database in order to activate it on the CDMA network.
The new unlocked / SIM Free iPhone 6 and 6 Plus being sold in the US are advertised by Apple as able to work on Verizon. Whether or not Verizon will allow it to be used on their pre-paid service is another matter. You'll have to ask them directly if you want a definitive answer.

You will have to call AppleCare and give them the model and serial number so they can advise who it is locked with. Then you will have to contact that cell provider and find out what their unlock process is, if there is a fee, and if you qualify. If it is locked to a company that does not have an unlock policy then you will not be able to unlock it.
