What is the upgrade policy?

I can't seem to find a straight answer on this SAP behemoth.  We have Crystal Server XI R2 and wonder if our tech support/maintenance covers upgrade to 2008?  Any straight answers someone can give me about how their support/maintenance is structured would be appreciated.

Hi Patrick,
Yes, we definately support migration to 2008 from Crystal Server XI R2. You can log a ticket with SAP regarding your technical issue and after which you will be able to get technical support from us.
Hope this helps you!

Anindita

    Thanks

    Hi Frank --
Here's Apple's Sales and Refunds Policies.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no "upgrade policy."

  • What is the External Policy Check in SIM?

    Hi all.
Can anybody tell me what is the External Policy Check for resource in Sun Identity Manager?
Sometimes, when I check the workflow status, I'm observing log entries like that: "Starting the External Policy Check on Resource Name' failed. "
Is it possible to configure these checks?

    Gopala Krishna,
It described the mechanism of a mapping across the borders of a Web Dynpro component. In the example, component A used a component B and for Node 1 of the component controller context of A a mapping was defined to the node of the same name of the interface controller context of component B. Both components are known at design time.

What is the upgrade to photoshop cs6?

There is no traditional upgrade from CS6 to what would normally be "CS7".
The next version after CS6 is Photoshop CC and it's only available by subscription to the Creative Cloud.

  • What is the return policy for macbook pro in china?

I live in SuZhou, Jiangsu in China. What is the return policy for macbook pro in china? It's been 1 month and I got a main board exchange(repair).

You would need to return it to the Apple Online Store where you purchased it and it would have to be within 14 days. They may limit you to exchange only or charge a restocking fee.
Contact the Apple Online Store to make arrangements.

  • What is the return policy for iPad air. .

What is the return policy for iPad air. I just got this less than a month back. I find I it very hard to use. I hardly used It.

The 14 day return policy is if you bought from Apple. If you bought from another source, it's governed by their return policy.

  • 17-inch to 15-inch: what is the exchange policy?

    Hi,
So I recently ordered a MacBook Pro 17-inch laptop (the one released on October 24th) with the following specs:
    PROCESSOR     065-C0CD     2.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7
    MEMORY     065-C09M     4GB 1333MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    HARD DRIVE     065-C0GG     750GB Serial ATA Drive @ 7200
    OPTICAL DRIVE     065-C09X     8x Double-Layer SuperDrive
DISPLAY     065-C09Y     MBP 17" HR Glossy WS Display
    DVI Adapter     065-C0C1     None
    VGA Adapter     065-C0C3     None
    REMOTE     065-C0C5     None
KEYBOARD AND DOCUMENTATION     065-C0DK     Keyboard/Users Guide
    COUNTRY KIT     065-C0DM     Country Kit
I've thought about it, and I would rather exchange this for a 15--inch, which is much more portable but has the same tech specs.
I've called the Apple Store in my area and theyre willing to do an exchange, but I'm not really sure what that entails, and I was too busy this morning to remember to ask.
So would all the tech specs be the same for the 15" MacBook Pro I exchange my 17" for (including the High-Res Display)? What about the extra value of the 17", which costs around $300 more? Can I use that credit towards increasing my RAM, or does that money disappear?
Bonus question: what is a country kit?

Here is Apples return policy: http://store.apple.com/us/open/salespolicies. Also, I would suggest looking elswhere for ram  you can find it much cheaper elsewhere and with a lifetime guarantee: http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/memory/Apple_MacBook_MacBook_Pro/Upgrade/DDR3_133 3MHz_SDRAM
Country kit refers to the keyboard..example qwerty for USA azerty for France etc. Also th plug it comes with, as diffrent countries have different style power outlets.
And no Apple will not keep the difference in price: "For returns to an Apple Retail Store for cash, cash equivalent, and check transactions over $250, Apple will mail a refund check to you within 10 business days."

  • Understanding the upgrade policy

I came to the forums for the first time in quite awhile to ask a question about a laptop. Have had little time the past months to work in Photoshop. Now I find there out about the new upgrade policy and find different opinions on what the new policy is. (I've also discovered that the forums have a whole new look!)
I have CS5. Is it true that I can wait untll the end of 2012 to upgrade to CS6 to get the upgrade price of 199.00, (or maybe Adobe will change that also?)
I think I understand that I can't skip 6 and wait for 7 to upgrade. I don't really mind as long as I can wait until the year's end because I don't like to be an early upgrader. I might have skipped this upgrade, because this time there seems fewer features of interest, but I have always found some new and useful things each time.
Anyhow, I am thinking of auditing a college class in art this year (an accredited college.) so I think that means I could get a copy of InDesign, CS6, Illustrator and Acrobat. I've wanted Indesign, but as an amature coudn't justifiy it. The price wouldn't be much more than upgrading CS6. (With the cost of the class it will be quite a bit more.) But then I am unable to transfer my license (sell) the bundle later? My current CS5 might or might not be saleable? (not if Adobe can find a way to stop it.). So if I can't work on my PC anymore (age) or die (my heirs) are stuck with useless software?
Would I be able to sell/give my current copy of CS5 if I buy the educational bundle?
It's all so confusing. I will likely get CS6 anyhow, but maybe will stop then and just use what I have which I haven't begun to learn all of anyhow.
Hope I made the quesions clear in my chatter. Especially: do I have until the end of 2012 to decide? And can I not  sell my current CS5, or the educational bundle at any time if I join the class and buy the package? Did I miss anything - there is so much new!
Thanks, I guess I'll ask my other question now.

You seem to have a confidence in Adobe that is not supported by their recent record.

Adobe suits have taken their customer for granted for quite some time.  Take their disastrous outsourcing of customer and tech support to India, and the contempt with which they treat us there and even in these forums.  Their recent record of pushing unripe, buggy software out the door is nothing short of appalling.
    John Waller wrote:

Who are these "competitors" of whom you speak?   I'd love to be "usurped" by them  —rather than continue to be screwed by Adobe.
    John Waller wrote:

Adobe has been innovating since it began so it's deeply embedded in their DNA.
Here you speak of the Adobe of the 1980s, which no longer exists.
During the Bruce Chizen era they degenerated into a third-rate corporate raider, as evidenced by their ill-thought "acquisition" of the Macromedia white elephant which in reality turned out to be the Macromediatization of Adobe into an unresponsive bureaucracy.  Just like Macromedia had acquired Fontographer only to let it languish, the macromediatized Adobe bought out Visual Infinity only to kill their unequaled suite of film grain management, GrainSurgery 2.  For these reason alone, GrainSurgery 2, I will continue to run Photoshop CS4 until I give up the ghost.
Nobody needs to be reminded of Freehand, part of the Macromedia merger and a casualty abandoned by Adobe.
The innovators are now irrelevant to the Adobe bureaucracy.

  • What is the upgrade from CS3 and 3.5? do I want it?

Dear Community. I needed to reinstall CS3. The Software Disks got ejected from my iMac I thought the Software was defective. I went searching for a replacement.
I found the Version CS3.5 upgrade so I bought it for $221.00 or so. Then it dawned on me that the  optical reader in my iMac might be at fault. I then bought an external disk reader. The Adobe Software is perfect at CS. What would this upgrade 3.5 do for me? I could return it.

Just to let you know. I confconfused myself. When I attempted to reinstall
my CS3 Standard Design, the disks spit out of my iMac. I thought the
software was corrupted or something. I went online and found this CS3.5
upgrade. I snapped it up. I guess from a Bookseller on Amazon. Then I began
to wonder if the optical disk was malfunctioning. So I purchased an
external usb reader. The Design Standard immediately installed. Here's my
replacement software. The Surprise is that it is the Design Premium
Application. Why would I return it I"m having a Ball so much power. Do I
really need it no, but I reallty want it nowI regretto have brought my
confusion onto others, One Happy Ending. Thanks, Leigh

  • What is the upgrade to 10.9 method?

So I am running 10.8.5 Server now, or listed as OS X Server 2.2.2.  What is the recommended upgrade method to get to OS X Server 3 (Mavericks)?
It is not very clear, and I don't want to start from scratch or lose my current working configuraton.
Since I am updating all of my client machines as well as the supporting software, I need my server to be compatable, mainly with iPhoto and my iTunes library as well. (both served from my server)
    thanks,
    Scott

I recommend migrating to a separate disk volume, that way your Mountain Lion Server is untouched while you try out Mavericks Server.
Better yet, if you have a second computer you can test with...
Take Time Machine backups on Mountain Lion Server to a removable external drive.
Remove that external drive from the Moutain Lion Server and plug it in to a different computer where you will install Mavericks.
During the Mavericks install process, it will ask you if you want to migrate from a Time Machine backup; choose that option and select the external drive.
Once Mavericks is installed and migrated, get OS X Server (Mavericks) from the store and run it.
Verify your data migrated successfully -- if not, at least your Mountain Lion Server is untouched, and there hasn't been any downtime.

  • What is the upgrade cycle for DW?

I have an older version of DW and would like to get DW CS4, but don't want to if CS5 is coming out soon. Can someone tell me when to expect this to happen?
    Thanks.

Well just remember Adobe's policy is that you can only upgrade from the previous 3 versions.  So if you have a version prior to MX 2004 you will not be able to upgrade to even CS4.  If you have MX2004 though, CS4 is the last version you will be able to buy at the upgrade rates.  After that you must buy another full license.  If you have 8 or CS3 you can hold off.  It will be released this year and betas for other applications like Flash were stopped to push the public release out sooner, but no definitive date(s) have been announced yet.
