What is the URL to ad and remove devices from my profile account?

I've read Mr. Reed's Mac Malware Guide, and found it very interesting and informative. I use Sophos for Mac Home Edition; it's free and scored highly in Mr. Reed's tests of anti-virus software.
Here is the link; if you choose to download click on the 'get started' icon at the right of the screen:

  • What's the username & password when i connect device from cisco network assistant

    what's the username & password when i connect device from cisco network assistant?
    http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa273/wallfire02/Capture_zpsa8f5fd2b.jpg

    Although that may be true...
    If I click the "Connect As..." button it asks for a username and password.
    I've experienced connecting to other user's computers on a network.  To gain access to their computer, I just use their username and password.  I've done this before to transfer files without using a flash drive or burned disk.
    I'm trying to find out what I'm supposed to log on as to gain access to this device...
         My point is that yes, I'm connected to it by wifi.  Otherwise it wouldn't show up; ha-ha!
    Is my point really that hard to grasp?

  • What are the URLs for webmail and the wiki?

    I see that Lion Server supports webmail and a built-in wiki server, both available through a web browser.
    What are the URLs for these; how do I get to them? I can't find that important detail anywhere in the documentation.

    From /etc/httpd.conf
    Alias -->name --> location
    Alias /webmail /usr/share/web/webmail.html
    Alias /changepassword /usr/share/web/changepassword.html
    Alias /profilemanager /usr/share/web/profilemanager.html

  • What's the diff between Excluding and Removing?

    The Help docs don't seem to mention this. In Sys Prefs > TM > Options, in the first window you can select a folder and click to remove it from the list. Or you can click which brings up a find window where you can go to a folder or file and Exclude it. Anyone know the difference and if one is preferred over the other?
    You can also Show Invisible Items. If you want to limit your disk usage, should we Exclude things like mach_kernal, private, sbin, tmp, usr, etc?

    sorry, don't really understand the question. + is for adding items to the TM exclusion list, - is for removing them from that list.

    you could. when you exclude one system file TM will offer to exclude all system files which includes all the files you mention so you don't have to do it one by one. However, due to incremental nature of TM backups this will save you about 10GB TOTAL on the TM drive. Entirely not worth it IMO given that this will make it impossible to restore your entire system from backups.

  • What is the impact of destroying and re-creating from scratch the Open Directory Master?

    In order to try and solve some nasty issues hat I have since upgrading to OS X Server 3,0 I am considering completely destroying my OD Master and re-creating the users and groups from scratch. Before doing so (of course I will have multiple backups) I would like to understand:
    1.   When re-creating the users and groups is it sufficient to use the same ‘Unix’ groupid and userid numbers or do I also need to use the original GeneratedUIDs (is that even possible)? Are there any other aspects of the users/groups that I need to be sure to preserve?
    2.   Will there be any impact to services and their data from doing this? Specifically, I have users with data in Mail, Calendar, Contacts and the WiKi. Will they still be able to access their data after the OD destroy/re-create or is that data somehow tied to more than just the username (e.g. does it use the user/group UUID or indeed any other UUID from OD)?
    3.   Will there be any impact to OS X clients bound to the OD? Should I unbind them before destroying and re-bind them afterwards? Will there be any negative impact on the network users who log in via these systems (they all have ‘mobile’ accounts which do *not* sync to the server - all their data is local to the client)?
    Thanks in advance for any advice especially from anyone who has gone through this process.
    Chris

    Hi Rob,
    I have solevd my issue and I did not need to destroy / re-create the Open Directory. See my post here https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5785838 for all the gory details. The long and the short of it was that my problems all came from a point in the past when I changed the hostname of my server after I had created the Open Directory master. Seems like that is a very bad idea! Based on what I found it seems liek any small flaw in DNS forward and reverse name resolution can also cause similar issues. I don't knwo if either of thsoe may apply to your situation?
    As part of troubleshooting my issue I actually created a 'replica' of my server setup on another machine includingthe OD and associated users and groups. What I found was that many services (certainly mail, calendar and contacts) depend completely on the OD users and groups UUIDS. So if you wish to preserve user's data across an OD destroy and re-create it is vital that you carefully note for each group its Unix GID and its OD UUID and for each user their Unix uid, primary group id and UUID. When you are re-creating your OD master, as you create each group, use Directory editor to change its UUID to the original value. Similarly for Users. If you don't then users will no longer have access to any existign Mail, Contacts or Calendar data afterwards!

  • Can I remove devices from my iTunes account

    I have devices connected to my iTunes/Apple ID account that I no longer own. Is there any way to remove these devices? It shows five devices connected, but I only have two that are still being used.

    On version 10.6.1.7 Windows 64-bit & 32-bit, I'm only seeing and option to deauthorize all devices.  I was expecting to see a list of devices from which I could pick and choose.  What am I missing?  Do I have to deauthorize all devices and reauthorize?  That seems a little silly.

  • What is the Collection that returns and removes the Object simultaneously

    Hi Java Experts,
    I believe I'm looking for a Collection that will allow me to (a.) return an object and (b.) remove the object from the collection simultaneously (c) without having to specify the index location of the object. Very similar to what you can do when you enumerate through a Properties Object.
    Here is a description of why I think this is the solution that I want. - Perhaps some Design Pattern Experts can help.
    I am making an application that is supposed to loop continuously through a collection while adding more information to the collection (example: in a while(collection.size()>0){ take some action })
    The action taken inside the while loop would add more items to the collection. I'm hoping that fact would be picked up by collection.size()>0 and cause the iteration to continue.
    I am doing this solution within one thread and class. But I'm also going to let this thread feed another Class (A controller thread) with different items which are added to It's collection for it's own loop. That solution will have to handle multiple threads feeding information to it's solution.
    Here is example code below of how i'm proposing this would work in a single threaded class.
    thanks for all the help
    * DESCRIPTION: I want to loop through a collection infinitely by
    * making the thread continually add to the collection.
    import java.util.*;
    public class TESTSOLUTION implements Runnable{

              Thread t = new Thread(tv);
              t.start();
              System.out.println("Finished Main");
         public TESTSOLUTION(){
              ACollectionType = new TreeSet();
              ACollectionType.add("BAT");
              ACollectionType.add("BALL");
              ACollectionType.add("MIT");
         public void run(){
              while(ACollectionType.size()>0){
                   //THIS IS WHERE I WANT TO BE ABLE TO REMOVE AN ITEM FROM THIS COLLECTION
                   //WITHOUT SPECIFYING THE index
                   //I just want to call a method and return the object and simultaneously
                   //remove to the object
                   outputString((String)ACollectionType.first());
                   counter++;
         private void outputString(String s ){
              try{
                   Thread.sleep(400);
              }catch(InterruptedException e){
                   System.out.println("interrupted");
                   System.out.println("s = " + s );
                   //I AM TRYING to add to the object and have the result picked up
                   // by (perhaps) the ACollectionType.size()>0 method and run the while
                   // loop infinitly
                   ACollectionType.add("TOY#"+counter);
         private TreeSet ACollectionType = null;
         private int counter = 0 ;
    }

    Hey Experts,
    I recall there is a website provided by Richard or SAP that gives away free sample of various crystal reports, or charges for some reports at a minimal price.

  • Removing Devices from my Verizon Account

    I am the account owner of a family share plan account. I have two devices I want to permanently remove from my plan. How do I do this? Do I have to call customer service directly or can I do it on my own?

    I would call customer service to either cancel, or transfer the lines to their respective parties using an AOL assumption of liability.   You can also go to a store to cancel if you are just cutting off the lines and not moving them anywhere, or if they are out of contract.  If under contract remember ETFs or if on Edge, the full payoff of the phone.  But also remember that each line will be charged until the end of the billing cycle, not the cut off date.

    If i do not have the previous owner's phone #, is there a way to get the full email address if it has already been restored? In order to contact them?

    Go to a shop and have them remove the motherboard and install a new one on it maybe that will take all that away and start new.

  • What is the diffrence between cookies and cache, is it safe to remove cache?

    what is the difference between cookies and cache , is it safe to remove cache ? . I had cleaned cookies many times but I have not removed cache , does it goes on increasing day by day ? please let me know

    Cookies are small files that contain information useful to a web site -- such as password, preferences, last date visited, etc. You may remove the cookies that you don't want adn since some of them are a privacy issue, many people remove them all.
    Cache is just a collection of data downloaded to help display a web page. After you leave a site, much of the cache is left on your computer and is no longer needed. You can always remove the cache because it will be replaced as needed.
