You can use a request that was selected as a repair request via Scheduler ® Repair Full Request to carry out a full update in any data target. This also applies to data requests that already contain data from an initialization run or deltas for this DataSource/source system combination, and that have overlapping selection criteria.

The approach I have as of now is :
1) When it is identified that data cache usage is nearly 100%, check for hit rate for OMS data in data cache in LC10 .Because generally hit rate for OMS data in data cache should be atleaset 99.8% and Data Cache usage should be well below 100%.
2) To monitor unsuccessful accesses to data cache choose refresh and compare value now and before unsuccessful accesses result in physical disk I/O and should generally be avoided.
3) The number of OMS data pages (OMS Data) should be much higher than the number of OMS history pages (History/Undo).A ratio of 4:1 is desirable. If OMS history has nearly the same size as OMS data, use Problem AnalysisPerformanceOMS versions to find out if named consistent views (Versions) are open for a long time. Maximum age should be 8hrs.
4)If consumption of OMS heap and data cache is large, one reason may be a long running transaction simulation that accumulates heap memory and prevents the garbage collector from releasing old object images.
5) To display existing transactional simulations in LC10,use Problem AnalysisPerformanceOMS versions and SM04 to find out user of corresponding transaction and may be required to cancel the session after contacting user if the version open for long time..
Please help me by providing additional information on the issue.

Hi Mayank, sorry, one basic question - are you using some selection criteria during extraction? If yes, then try extraction without the selection criteria.
If you maintain selection based on, let's say, material, you need to use the right number of zeros as prefix (based on how you have defined the characteristic for material) otherwise no records would be selected.
Is this relevant in your case?
One more option is to try to repair teh datasource. In the planning area, go to extraction tools, select the datasource, and then choose the option of repair datasource.

The AirPort Express is almost certainly not compatible if you are planning to connect using wireless only with another brand of wireless router.

I was updating to mountain lion when it stopped the installation and marked an error in the disk, now the computer does not work....what can i do?!

Depending on what OS the computer had on it, either boot into the Recovery Volume using command - R or by holding down the option key and selecting the Recovery Volume. If the computer was using pre-Lion OS, boot from the disks that came with the computer.
Run Disk Utility and see if you can repair the hard drive. Also try Repairing Permissions. If successful, try a normal restart.

Directory Damage, what can be used for Disk Repair and Virus Detection?

My eMac is acting up. Yesterday I started getting these messages that I needed to restart my computer (message was in a brown box window with an icon of a start up button in background).
I did the disk repair using Start up CD and it came back with "invalid key......." or something like that, and when I tried to repair it, it tried to repair the B-Tree's but then said it could not repair the problem.
I have Diskwarrior 3.03 Build 39, on a CD and on my FW Ext HD, which has a clone of my Mac HD.
Diskwarrior could not produce a graph of Mac HD because the directory was damaged. When I did a rebuild it hung on step 9 comparing directories, said there was 7 million + tests. ( I let it hang on step 9 for 15 hrs. to see if maybe it was just taking a long time due to corrupt directory). I finally clicked on Skip and got to the report page. I could do a preview, but the replace button is greyed out. When I was comparing the sizes of each folder, in both preview and original, I got a can not calculate error message on a few of them. The size of Mac HD in preview compared to the one in Original was different by 4 gbs. A week ago I repaired the Mac HD and did a Diskwarrior directory repair on all my HD's.
Before I do any reformatting of HD or other drastic measures, I was wondering what is safe to use for disk repair and virus detection. I know there is Norton System Works 3.0, Norton AntiVirus and TechTool, are these the only ones? Are these safe to use? Are there any other programs that can repair directory damage?

The long-standing rule of thimb has been that if Disk Warrior can't repair a mungled disk directory, then you're looking at reformatting or replacing the hard drive. Since this is a week-old hard drive, I'd suspect the replacement hard drive is itself bad. It might save you grief in the long run to contact the vendor who sold you the drive and inquire about their warrenty. You might want to first run the file system check utility fsck as described in Using Disk Utility and fsck
Directory repair and antivirus protection are different critters. Norton AV is mostly safe (if you don't mind it's track record of false positives) and is used by the IT department at the lab where I work. Norton SystemWorks, AKA Disk Doctor Kervorkian, is most assuredly NOT safe. For every poster reporting something nice about it, you'll find at least 2 dozen cursing it. It has a known track record of detecting problems no other utility finds and of "repairing" drives such that nothing can then read or repair the drive short of low-level reformatting (and occasionally even that fails).
Tech Tool Pro 4 has a good reputation, as does Drive Genius. Tiger OS X 10.4.2 and later include a version of Disk Utility that can for the first time also make effective B-tree and keys out of order and overlapped extent repairs. Still, my personal gut feeling is that if Disk Warrior is choking on the hard drive, you're looking at reformatring while zeros the drive (zeroing should detect and map out bad physical secotrs).

i used Deletion of Requests from PSA from the prcess chain and found good results, now i have only one request at the psa and thus i am doing good space utililisation. but when i am using Deletion of Requests from the Change Log i am not getting any changes in the request of dso. kindly let me know how to use this 2nd function.

As per SAp standards its good to delete the requestes that are no longer needed for the delta update and no longer used ffor inti from the change log table and the data is loaded already in to DSO.
Goto RSPC
Click on create New PC -> enter the PC name n long descp
Next we need to define the start process for the PC.Maintain the start variant process.save n come back.
for deletion of change log we have option in the Other BW Processes -> deletion of requestes from change log
Once u select the option we get a dialoge box here we need to create the variant for the process enter the process variant n long descp. cick ok.
Next in the maintenance screen for the deleting the request from change log table will appear.
Enter the selection patterns to which the requestes should be deleted from the change log.
In the maintenance screen, select one or more Data Store objects for which requests are to be deleted from the relevant change log tables under Data Store Object column and select theInfo Area of the corresponding Data Store Objects under Info Area
If you select the first check box exclude selction pattern, this means that del of requests from change log table will be ignored.

They will not repair your iPhone they will check it and assuming no user induced damage will send back a replacement refurbished unit to you ( reason for no accessories )

What program is used by Trx F110 to make the report text file?

Do you know what is the program used by trx F110 (Automatic Payment transactions) to create the flat text file in the Operating System? I know that, in case of a payment method 'C' (check), SAP can print the check using the programs that appear at Printout/data medium tab (listed in the Form printing/DME box). But the issue is that the check is printing the street address of the vendor, not the one of the ALTERNATIVE PAYEE, in this case the payee is one of the vendor customers, but the check does not print the customer address.
I would be glad if I could find the txt file creator program, due the information is sent to the printing program is at this file, so I become able to investigate the behavior of the program. Further beyond: do you know why F110 is not able to print the address of a customer of the vendor when making checks with alternative payee being one of their customers? Thank you and regards!

What gives you an impression that a seperate program is called to write file at OS level.....it could be the program running behind the F110.....try checking the same...and look for GUI_DOWNLOAD in the program.

TS2570 i have an intel imac and im getting a grey sceen. I get the flashing question mark folder. iv changed the H.D 2x and tired to install a new os into it but no luck. The mac isnt going into safe mode or anything. help?

Tired 5 keyboards on all Usb ports and a hub and keyboard wont boot to startup or safemode of anything but hub gets power. disc drive wont eject or accept a disc cuz keyboard commands not being sent to computer. Help?

Keyboards must be connected directly to the USB port, not through a hub.
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
Do the following:
1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed with reinstalling OS X. Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files. After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

Interpretation of the use of threads with Sessions in the JMS Specification

I’ve been interacting with two JMS Providers which do a different interpretation of the JMS Specification with the use of different threads for accessing to a session and session’s related objects.
The question is:
When a client is consuming messages asynchronously, is it possible to access session’s related objects from a thread different to the one dedicated to the asynchronous consumption, on (thread of control)?

- Yes, but the client should provide explicit synchronization.?
Our execution scenario is:
1.- Messages are consumed asynchronously from a dedicated thread.
2.- From other thread, messages consumed are acknowledged.
In the JMS specification there is, at least, two parts where this issue is treated:
1.- The first one (4.4.1 - page 60):
+“There are no restrictions on the number of threads that can use a Session object or those it creates. The restriction is that the resources of a Session should not be used concurrently by multiple threads. It is up to the user to insure that this concurrency restriction is met. The simplest way to do this is to use one thread. In the case of asynchronous delivery, use one thread for setup in stopped mode and then start asynchronous delivery. In more complex cases the user must provide explicit synchronization.”+
This extract, makes me think that it is possible the access from different threads, but If I do that, I should provide explicit synchronization.
2.- The second one (4.4.6 – page 62,63)
+"Once a connection has been started, any session with a registered message listener(s) is dedicated to the thread of control that delivers messages to it. It is erroneous for client code to use this session or any of its constituent objects from another thread of control. The only exception to this is the use of the session or connection close method"?+
This extract, could be interpreted as that the concurrent access is never allowed in the described situation.

I think the key words are in 4.4.6 (and also the javadoc for Session): "Once a connection has been started, any session with a registered message listener(s) is dedicated to the thread of control that delivers messages to it".
My interpretation of this is that you when you register a message listener and call connection.start(), the thread which delivers messages to the listener should be thought of as "using the resources of the session" (as mentioned in 4.4.1) continuously until the connection is stopped (or until the session or connection is closed). it doesn't matter whether the session is executing onMessage() or not.
Given this, both 4.4.1 and 4.4.6 say the same thing: that once you have registered and started a message listener, the only thing you can do to the session from another thread is to close it.
I agree the spec could be clearer. In particular the words "In more complex cases the user must provide explicit synchronization" in 4.4.6 should be clarified to state what this actually means rather than give a hint.
Please note that work has just started on updating the JMS specification, so now is a great time to report areas of the JMS spec which would benefit from clarification.
