What is this icon (a funnel)?

Hi all,
What is the use of the icon shaped like a funnel. If you click it, it asks to define the filters.. e.g. go to se04 you see this icon on the application bar. Please tell the usage in detail.

Hi,
The Filter ICON is used to filter the data displayed on the screen. For example you can select the user from the field list and move it to the Filter criteria and then you can enter a user name to filter the data.
Generally the filter ICON will be available in all the ALV reports..

When you open an email and are in the read mode, at the bottom of the

I believe that is the "archive" button. You have a setting for that instead of delete. Do you see the trash can? If not, that is what it is. Here is a link to the iPhone manual and you can see about changing that, but I would have to say it is probably in settings, mail.

What is this icon in the top-right corner?

I'm running iOS 5.0.1 on an iPhone 4S and when I run iHandySoft's Quick Scan Pro application, I get an icon that I don't recognize which replaces the battery icon in the status bar. This icon looks like a box with an arrow pointing down and to the right. It also pulses.

What is this icon???? Can't find it in any users guides

This icon is on my phone and I don't know what it is. It is a black circle has an arrow pointing SW and on the arrow it has a red star. It has a 1 beside it so I'm assuming it means I missed something as that is the area it is in where the missed calls show up.

Hi there,
That should be an icon indicating that you have an update to one of the apps you downloaded via BlackBerry App World. To clear the icon, simply go to BlackBerry App World and sign into your My World. You will see the update there.

What does this icon mean and why does a black battery appear behind it?

All of a sudden, since last night, an intermittently flashing black battery appears behind one of the menu bar icons. Unfortunately, I don't know what the original icon means! From right to left, I have the volume icon, the wireless connection strength icon, a telephone icon, (what I think is) an Ethernet icon, then this funny icon -- three horizontal black dots, with a thin vertical line and kind of an X running through them. (Can you tell I'm not a computer person? Anyway, can anyone interpret these signs for me? Inquiring minds would very much like to know, especially if something drastic is about to happen. TIA!

What is this Icon on the homepage??

I just bought my BB Curve and have read through all of the documentation. There is a small, black icon that looks like cross-hairs with two lines on the right side (to indicate sound I guess). I have looked through everything and cannot find what this means. See attached image, icon is circled in red. What does this mean?

It was a good question! Althought i'm not 100% sure, I've done some tests and I think that if you look at your SQL statement you should see that there's a sub-query in it. That was my case. If not would you please post your query ?
In my case : select 1 from mrn_invoice MINVO where exists (select 1 from fac_invoices FINVO where FINVO.no_seq = MINVO.no_seq) ;

When I click on this "+" icon in iTunes after selecting
my iPhone and then the Apps tab nothing happens:

I have 15 pages of apps but no additional page
or anything happens when I click on the "+" icon.
Also at the end of the pages at the bottom it says:
"Select apps to install on your iPhone or drag apps to a specific screen.
Drag to rearrange apps, screens, and pages."
I can select a whole page and drag it but not individual apps.
And what are screens?
Can anyone shed some light on this?

Hi sgginc,
For me, the "+" button in the Arrange App pane of iTunes did nothing for adding Home Screens but it did add pages to folders, found in their own sections lower in the window (scroll down).
To arrange the icons you need to double click the page you want to edit first.

Some e-mail servers (like Google if you're using IMAP, which is the default iPhone setup for Google) don't allow you to delete messages via the iPhone Mail app. It basically moves the message from the inbox to Archive (or at least to the All Mail Folder).
For POP3 e-mail, the iPhone does allow you to delete the messages.

What is this icon? How do I fix this?

I recently backed-up my OSX install, did a clean format, and copied my files back, piece by piece. When reinstalling aperture, I coped the library back into the correct location. In this process, my username also changed.
Now, all my photos have this icon in the bottom right corner:

I'm guessing this is relating to paths or permissions, but I'm at a loss. All images seem to load fine. I have not yet been using Aperture full-time, so I might be missing some basic reference point that would help me notice the underlying problem and fix it.
Any help would be appreciated. Fixing this in an automated fashion would be very appreciated.

you are using referenced masters, and currently they are offline ... you will need to reconnect them ... it can be accomplished automatically once you get one ... this was caused by the changes you made when you changed user name ...

What's this icon mean?

So when this icon shows up on an email in a shared mailbox that email when attempting to froward, tries to forward from the senders address.. any idea why this is?

That's the icon to indicate that it is a Draft message.
Also, when you are in a shared mailbox, the From address will default to the address of that mailbox. You need to have Delegate Send on Behalf Of permissions or AD/Exchange level Send As permissions to actually be able to do that.

What does this icon signify/stand for?

I have been searching the web with google as well as the adobe site/help docs. I have not been able to unveil the meaning that follows the appearance of this icon (next to the fileName in Bridge CS4 while browsing a directory on a server using Version Cue CS4). At first, I thought it had something to do with the 'purge cache for selection' command because after executing that command the icon disappeared and the standard icon resembling the file type appeared. That being true, the fact remains that my latest attempts using the same technique no longer remove the image. When I try to call one spec mobilnumber I get an icon like this a few seconds in the window, and thats all, nothing more happens.
The icon is an "unlocked"symbol with an handset under, and under that an mobil phone.
What means with it?

Those icons indicate that you have shared your movie to iTunes or the Media Browser in (from left to right) Tiny, Mobile, Medium, or Large. From your icon, it looked like you had shared a movie in Large size. If you share in HD (1280x720) for YouTube, I think it will also say HD.

N70 - what is this icon

I have outlined in blue an icon that has started appearing on screen.
Seeing as how the manual for the n70 is one of the most poorly written, inorganised, and unintuitive consumer product manuals I have ever seen, without the obvious inclusion of a visual guide to what icon indicators actually mean, can somebody let me know what the icon indicates?

This means also that you have had a sent message fail........and will stay on the screen till you remove it from the appropriate folder.
