Sure looks like smudgy finger prints on the inside of the glass front panel to me. Kind of looks like the assembler(s) left some oily finger prints on the inside of the panel and over time it has collected some fine dust or soot.
You have a few options:
1. Change to a dark back ground and ignore it, +(no, I would not settle for that)+
2. Call your Local Apple Store or Apple Service Provider and have them clean both the display and front glass panel.

How can I find what Event a photo is in when that photo is found via Faces?

I've stumbled upon a photo via the Faces category. I do not know what Event this photo exists in, but I'd like to know (this same issue can occur with a photo found via Places of course too). How do I find out what Event this photo exists in? Of course I can pull the date or title data from the photo and then search for that data and visually find the photo from the search results, but I would assume there would be a much much easier method.
None of the information data seems to contain any event data. I would think each photo would contain information as to what Event it currently resides in.

Wait until iPhoto is done scanning for new images in the ".. might also be in the photos below" section, then right click (or Option-Click if your mouse has no right button) on the image, and in the last group of the menu that pops up should be an item "Show Event". While it's still scanning for more faces, the "Show Event" menu item isn't shown yet.

With the amount of information you've provided it's impossible to offer a potential solution. We can't see your computer so we need to know some details of your problem and setup, i.e.:
what version of iPhoto are you using?
what system version are you running?
what fixes have you tried?
where is you library located?
did you apply any updates or upgrades just prior to the problem occurring?
are you running a "managed" or "referenced" library?
what type of Mac?
how much free space on your boot drive?

The icon in the dock is a shortcut to the app itself.....for some reason the icon has lost contact with the app.......go to your Applications folder and drag Picasa back to the dock....a new alias (shortcut) will be created.....

I just reread your question. The horseshoe is a cloud symbol. Clicking on it refreshes your episode. If there is no cloud with arrow, there is no new episode to download. When you click on it, the blue dot which indicates an unplayed episode awaits you, shows the progress of the download in a sort of analog clock manner. After it's done, it should turn blue again and the cloud with arrow should be gone.
The rectangle with clean is part of ratings podcast creators can use to show what audience they are making it suited for. Some rectanges say "explicit", most don't have anything.

It means pretty much what it says - your HD is full.
This can arise because your HD is full - how big is your HD? How much free space on it?
Or it can be a mis-report due to to other issues.

Thanks Niel, I tried using Option and nothing happened so I next tried inserting the Leopard disc and rebooting while holding C. Nothing happened until the disc was ejected and then the folder with question mark reappeared. I inserted the disc again and at this point and it booted OSX. I tried to acess disc utility to repair but my harddrive wasn't listed, only the CD drive and the OS disc. Does this mean I'm lost everything?

If you're not even sure what the program is and what it does, why are you even considering downloading it? It's mindsets like this that give people worms and viruses and such.

Hi there
The reason the x is there is because RoboHelp can't find this topic. That's also why you can't edit or display it. From RoboHelp's perspective, it knows a topic was there, but it's since likely been deleted or renamed behind RoboHelp's back.
If you changed the name, did you do it from inside RoboHelp or from Windows Explorer? Often things break when you don't do them from inside RoboHelp.
