What is this shadow on the screen?
Its just appeared recently on my iMac on the right hand side.
Any ideas?
No water has got near it as far as I know - help please!

Probably too late to do anything but replace the device at this point.
Once electronics get wet, the best thing to do is turn it off and put it in silica gels packs or uncooked rice for a minimum of 72hrs. Only then should the user attempt to power the device on. -
My 27" iMAC is less than 3 month old. Many times regardless of what application I am in the screen will start shifting back and forth left to right. Then I can't do anything until the screen stabilizes. This takes anywhere from 5 to 25 secs. Any ideas?

My G5 iMac has a screen color problem. The color is green with lines. What can I do to repar this? Sometimes the screen will freeze and I have to reboot the computer and the screen will be normal for up to 5-6 hours and then suddenly changes back to a greenish color.
Try running in Safe mode. This leaves out some video drivers. Which results in machine not using advanced video hardware.

Help, my iphone 5 is locked and will not function! I've turned it off and on and it has the same fault. What ever you press on the screen highlights with a box round it. When you press the round button with the square in the centre the voice on the phone tells you the time. Then the voice says screen lock. If I try and unlock the phone the voice says phone unlock but you can't put the code in. If you hight the box it will say the number but not put the code in?! What's the crack?

Helps if you tell us what version of Pages and something about the file.
Probably you have 2 versions of Pages on your Mac.
Pages 5 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.01 can not open Pages 5.1 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5.1 files can not be opened in Pages 5.
Anything that is saved to iCloud is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed over 95 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

Archive/trash Pages 5, after exporting all Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx, and rate/review it in the App Store, then get back to work.

I've been trying no update itunes 11.5 to iTunes 11.1.0 but this appears on the screen (error NSURLErrorDomain -1102).(102)
I had the same thing. I quit the App Store app and tried it again and it worked... sort of. iTunes is telling me that I have the latest version of 11.1 installed, but I do not see the iTunes Radio button. Is it because this feature is not available in Canada yet?

I opened Firefox as usual and went into several sites mail news etc and all seemed fine. Late morning this strange and quite professional looking video instruction page appeared full of photo's and instructions etc, the page took over the whole screen I thought it was strange so I closed it and all my open Firefox sites had gone. The volume 3D16F4F3-1F8F-4C8C-A8B7-15D88183FBC1 appears to be OK...This keeps showing up when I repair disk because my mac was running slow blah blah and now my mac won't restart I even shutdown the system but it just reboots to the login screen. Can anybody help it would be much appreciated.
You should be concerned. Maybe research about the program and if your mac isn't up to date. I'd update it.
At this point I'd do the research, if no possible way to solve it. I'd call AppleCare. -

Hi Jen. My daughter just compleated her nursing program and is now working as a full time nurse. Focus and study hard and soon you will be there too. Now to the problem at hand. I have the same problem. I gave up on it and satisfied myself with my iPod without the upgrade. Reason being I've read so many posts of people having problems after the upgrade. But I'm sure other factors are involved. Nevertheless here is the fix most say works to solve the problem: What ever virus protection you have installed on your computer, disable it. Then try to install the update. After that enable the protection. I had Kaspersky, and it does it's job well. The thinking is, the virus protection is blocking the upgrade. Hope this works. Charlie
