What is this telling me about my Infinty 2 service...

Hi there.
I'm an Infinity 2 customer running a HH5. Until just before Christmas my service was running at D:68.77/U:18.87 which is what I'd expect. However, since about 8 days ago my service seems to have deteriorated. Speedtest.net is showing D:37.6/U:8.69. However, when I run the BT wholesale test I get the following results..
Download speed achieved during the test was - 75.39
Mbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds
is 16 Mbps-77.42 Mbps .

This seems to show I've got an infinity 2 profile with infinity 1 speed but these contradictory results leave me at a loss to really know what is going on. Can anyone help?

Certainly an Infinity 2 profile, 77.42 down and 20 up. The up proifile depends only on your package, not the actual speed the line might be able to manage. Also, your speeds to the BT tests are good, so the problem isn't with between you and th exchange.
Speedtest.net varies a lot depending which server it happens to choose. Try http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest.html
I always find the first test gives very slow results, but the HTTPx6 test is usually sensible, and the upload test the most reliable I have found. The BT test upload is often very pessimistic for some reason.

with that limited information you gave me, it's quite difficult for me to point you in the right direction as i don't know the whole picture of your problem.
if you would insist so, i would say take up the ff courses:
1. Introduction to SQL/SQL*Plus
2. PL/SQL
3. Oracle Reports
3. Oracle Forms
4. Oracle Portal/Collaboration suite
5. etc.
and these will take you some time to accomplish.

Error message saying this device cannot be used because Apple mobile device service is not started. What does this mean and how do I start service....had these devices for over a year now??

When I tried to sync my iphone 4 and ipad in iturnes, an error message popped up saying this device cannot be used because Apple Mobile Device service is not started! What does that mean and how do I start service? I've had these devices for over a year and update and sync regularly and have never seen this message before!

I got that message yesterday. I'm new at this so don't know if this is the correct solution but it worked for me. I reset my iPod by holding the 2 buttons down until the apple appears AND I restarted my computer. After that everything worked.

So what's this SDK thing about?

I've heard about this SDK program but I don't really know what it does. Can someone please fill me in?

The date i've seen listed on multiple rumor sites is February 26th. However, the event rumored to occur that day may not be for the SDK seeing as other (less reliable) rumors push it back to WWDC 2008. Most people speculate that at this event the ipod touch/ iphone SDK will be released along with the new MBP. I think it could be a MacDock, for use with the macbook air. That would really increase MBA sales and would be possible seeing as apple has allegedly received the patent (and i've seen the patent submission) it's like an imac with no guts, that the MBA slides inside of.

What's this double flashing about? Is it an error code?

Could someone please tell me what is the meaning of the double flashing that is going on with my white extended Apple bluetooth keyboard? Does it shed any light on the fact that, after years of flawless working, it suddenly can't be detected by my Mac Mini G4 computer or by my MacBook Pro, which has no problem detecting another keyboard of exactly the same type? The batteries have been changed but that made no difference; and I'm using Leopard.
Surely double flashing must mean some kind of error code that is different to the normal, rapid flashing seen when the keyboard and computer are trying to connect? What is my keyboard trying to tell me?

What's this I hear about Gmail and the iPhone?

I have a gmail account with my iphone. I opened up a thread a few days ago saying something about gmail and the iphone (I didn't get to read the thread though) making it sound like the emails would get to my phone faster or something.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

what you are talking about is called "pull", the phone pulls new messages every 15 minutes.
in "push" mode if someone sends you an email it is pushed to your phone instantly, you don't have to wait up to 15 minutes for it to show up.

What is this error message about, "The system extension "/Library/Frameworks/PrivateTunnel.framework/Versions/Current/Extensions/tap.ke xt" was installed improperly and cannot be used"?

It appears as a window with the following text, "System extension cannot be used. The system extension “/Library/Frameworks/PrivateTunnel.framework/Versions/Current/Extensions/tap.ke xt” was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update."
I close it by clicking "Ok", and it doesn't seem to affect the system performance in any way, but it's annoying knowing that it's there. The problem is quite old, and has persisted through several OSX updates.

As of today getting "your remaining credits are insufficient"? What is this

I havent changed anything on my App Store account or anything else... but this morning I went and purchased an app from my iPhone and I get this message stating "your remaining credits are insufficient"... and I get the Cancel/Buy buttons.
Is this a new change in the App Store or what is this even talking about? What credits? Quite baffled and the only thing I see referring to this is an old string from 2006.

Check iTunes on your computer. If you have any credits, they will show up in a box to the left of your sign-in name. The credit may be a money amount, a number of songs or videos, etc. Usually the credits are added in response to a problem you reported to the apple store, or you activating a gift card or allowance.
If you have credits that can't be applied to a purchase on your phone (for example a song credit can't be applied to an app purchase), that will trigger the message. Just tap buy and continue normally.

Create Business Object is used to Attaching a PC Document to an Object and Storing, and you can append documents, which have a connection to an object, from your PC to the object and at the same time store it in an optical archive.
Prerequisites
This function is only then active if an optical archive is connected to the SAP System. The document type (format template, for example FIINVOICE) and document class (for example DOC or FAX) of the document that you want to store must be known.
Procedure
In the Toolbox of the object services, choose .
Choose Store business document.
Expand the node of the document class that corresponds to your document.
Choose the document type that corresponds with your document by double-clicking on it.
Enter the path and file name of your document in the following dialog box.
Alternatively, you can use the value help to call a window with the directory structure of your PC, in which you can call the directory and select the document by double-clicking.
Choose .
Result
The PC document is stored in the optical archive. You and other users can call it by using the Attachment List of the object.

This is what I think may have happened. The other day, Thursday Sept 8th, I shut down my pc in the middle of a Firefox upgrade. Now when I try to access Firefox on my pc, I get this error message:

If you use ZoneAlarm Extreme Security then try to disable Virtualization.
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder.

I have version 5.7 and every time I opened it I was told that updates are available and to click on the icon to access these. Instead it just took me to the
adobe page with nowhere visible to update. I then sought to download lightroom cc and this is when I could not access the 'develop' section due to reduced
functionality It was apparent that my photos had been put in cc but no way to access them unless I wanted to subscribe.
I have since remedied the problem as my original lightroom 5.7 icon is still available on the desktop and have gone back to that. I do feel that this is a bit
of a rip off and an unnecessary waste of my time though.

Hmm. The problem still may be the RAM - Apple buys the RAM it puts in its machines from third-party vendors (usually Hynix) so it could be a RAM problem.
There are a couple of things that you can do yourself before taking your machine into an Apple Store or an AASP... download and run an application named Rember that will run a RAM test for you - let it run for a couple of hours or even overnight. If it turns out that your RAM is faulty, Rember will let you know. If it is faulty, then you have a couple of options - replace the RAM yourself or (particularly if you're under warranty still) take the machine to an Apple Store or AASP and have them replace the RAM.
If Rember finds no fault with the RAM, then you'll need to take it into an Apple Store/AASP and get a free diagnosis on the machine. Three beeps do usually indicate faulty RAM, but if it tests good with Rember you likely have another problem - it could be something as simple as the RAM, somehow, not seated correctly or signs of another hardware problem.
Run Rember first... call back with results.
