What is Unified Daemon(EUR) Process?

Hi,
After upgrading to Android 4.3 on my S4, I have noticed a process/application named Unified Daemon(EUR) which is using up a lot of data. Does anyone know what this process application and does and how I can reduce the amount of data it uses? It is eating up around 10-15% of my data each day.

It would be good to know what that is. I have it on my phone, but it's not currently running, and hasn't used any data.
The Restrict background data that you check in that location is not just for that app, I think, but for all background data except when connected to WiFi. (On my S4, at any rate, when I tap any of the apps listed in Data usage and then tap Restrict background data, I get a warning that this "may stop apps that depend on background data working when Wi-Fi is not available," and suggests looking at individual app settings instead. This is basically the same warning you get when you tap the Menu key in Data usage settings and then tap Restrict background data.) But if you mainly connect over WiFi rather than 4G, you wouldn't see any effects.

I'm noticing the following behavior on an NT system. On
application startup, I see
Total Heap 9 MB
Used Heap 5.5 MB
java.exe memory (from NT Task Manager) 36 MB
After a "login" operation which loads a few more
classes:
Total Heap 12.5 MB
Used Heap 8.2 MB
java.exe memory (from NT Task Manager) 53 MB
Heap memory leaks have been ruthlessly suppressed
(thanks to OptimizeIt and careful programming). The
behavior I do not understand is that the NT process
(java.exe) increased in size by 17 MB when the Java
heap increased by only 3 MB. The .jar file in which the
application resides is less than 1 MB, so this 14 MB
growth can not be attributed to new classes being
loaded.
Does anyone know what is going into the process
memory space of java.exe? It tends to grow larger
and larger.
Should I even care? Do I want a large allocation of
process memory for java.exe, or will that hamper
performance of machines with less physical memory?
Posts on related topics in this forum have sometimes
advocated allocating a lot of memory to the JVM with
-X options.

I am facing exactly the same problem on NT. However, on 2000 Server this problem doesn't seem to exist. Are you, by any chance, using JNI? We are extensively using JNI in our Servlets and found that there is definitely some momory leak there. We could not figure out any substantial leak at Java end. In NT's "Task Manager" java.exe is always listed first and very rarely the memory usage seems to come down. On 2000 Server the performance is far better.

Last I checked I am a real human, it is just that I do not work for HP and can't speak for them. HP would not be the place I would go for a "refurbish" job. They charge an arm and a leg for out of warranty service. You simply need to find someone to replace the system board (motherboard). It is also very likely on that model that you could have your system board repaired. There are many services on ebay that will repair the motherboard at the component level. The cost would be at or under $100 or so. I have more advice to give but many times I write a detailed response only to have the user never come back. I do check my posts so if you want more ideas just please respond. The tx2-1000 was one of the models affected by the nVidia issue that caused so many HP laptops made in the 2007-2009 era to fail prematurely.

I would recommend using Pages for what you are doing. It is the best one to use on the iPad itself, and has the ability to convert to an MS Word format. I know that it can do this through email, but I am also fairly certain you can import it in this format through iTunes, though you may need to convert it on the iPad itself.
With iOS 5 and iCloud, I recommend kicking Word to the curb altogether and going with Pages on both machines. Not only will everything be more seamless, but iCloud will update the changes you make, on either device, automatically. And Pages is only 20 bucks through the App store for the Mac (OS 10.6.7 or later needed).

If you are using a standalone version of Lightroom, you may have updated with the CC-licensed update. That will not work. If this is your situation then it will be necessary for you to uninstall Lightroom and then install an update from a different website. Assuming that you are using Lightroom 5, this is where you need to download from:

Replenishment lead time is the time that is needed to order or produce the requested material. The system determines replenishment lead time according to specific times defined by you in the material master record. Depending on the material type, replenishment lead time can be calculated according to various time periods. In the case of trading goods, for example, it is determined according to the planned delivery time, purchasing processing time, and the goods receipt processing time.
Backorder Processing
Backorder processing is a functionality in SAP where you can change the committments and over-ride the blockage of stocks
marked against sales documents/deliveries. For e.g. you receive an order from a very important customer for material "A" but
the entire quantity of A is committed to another customer "B" via earlier sales orders and this is where BACKORDER processing helps you to change the committment and shift stock due for B to A. This is the benefit of this funtionality.
