i cant sync my iphone into itunes . I am running on the latest version of i tunes and ios 6. My phone is an iphone 4s.A message will apear when i sync my iphone (0xE8000084).what does it means? please help me!

i have long - LONG - struggled with this one off and on - updated firmware - itunes - and airport utility
the clue for me was that some other posts mentioned failure if ipv6 was disabled - and because i was having trouble with both window and macs connecting to my airport express i suspected my router
so i have dd-wrt running on my router - looked into "enabling" ipv6 for it and the guides said to enable both the "ipv6" and "radvd" options (my "radvd" was disabled)
after doing so i was immediately able to connect with the airport utility and finaly with iTunes (ont the windows box - disconnect and then attempt to connect with mac isn't working - but that's a different issue - sigh)

windows 7 home premium 64bit
itunes 10.6.1.7
airport utility 5.5.3
mac osx 10.7.5

Usually occurs on devices that have either been jailbroken or attempts have been made to downgrade the iOS. You can try putting it in DFU mode to restore but you may not be able to fix it. If you phone has been jailbroken we can't support you in these forums as it is against the terms of use.

I deleted iTunes and a bunch of other iTunes related files and downloaded the latest version and now it works (if you saw my previous post) but now it says "The iTunes Library file cannot be saved. redgirl, I had the same error message when trying to sync and backup my iphone. I called apple support and they suggested I turn off my computer and my iphone, restart both, and give it another try. It worked. When I restarted my iMac, the only program I had running was iTunes. It's possible that I had too many programs open before and I just didn't have enough memory or something to do the sync/backup. Who knows. The rep at Apple said he just got off the phone with another user who had the same problem as I did and the "shutdown/restart" option worked for that caller too. Hope this helps.
