The catalog of our University will not pull up properly on Firefox but will on internet exployer Why?
The #rdn# is a url variable that is pass to this form from
another page. I put it in a hidden filed and originallly used it as
from.rdn. That did not make a difference, so I just used rdn.
The cfoutput to display the rdn, partnumberid,
deliverynumber, totalrows, and row, all display properly. I even
use those in the query anlayzer and the update works.
I will remove the crparam and see if that makes any
difference. This is very frustrating since there are no error
messages and I am led to believe the code works.

Even now while visiting support.mozilla.com, I get an "Error Encountered" message from Symantec. I don't get this message from Safari.
Symantec suggests that I support the site to Symantec, but it is every web site I visit using Firefox.

Itunes library will not close down all the way
My iTunes library will not close down all the way. When I close the library I am unable to log back in or turn my computer off because itunes is still running although I x'd it out.
You're right, you shouldn't have to do that.
Well, you didn't say whether you've tried uninstalling & reinstalling itunes. Make sure it's installed with an admin user account. Then go into the WIndows Event Viewer and see if there are any error messages about any of the itunes processes in the installation package. That could give us a clue of what's going wrong.
Another thing that could be causing the problem is the "apple push" part of itunes, APSDaemon.exe. Read wiclee's post here about it.

My MacBook Air will not boot up all the way, it only allows me to sign in and then it stays on a white screen. I tried restarting, rebooting, recovery and smc reset. Nothing works, it stays with the same problem. How can I fix this?

When you get to the screen mentioned below, can you press the F11 key to enter the Recovery system that is on the hard drive? Alternatively, if you can press F10, you can go into the BIOS and change your boot order to put your disc drive before the hard drive so that the PC boots to your Recovery discs. NOTE: You may have to press F10 or F11 multiple times to get it at the right time.
You might consider opening your PC to see if it has dust buildup. If your PC has overheated, it can cause it to not boot. It can also cause heat damage to the interal parts.

I have downloaded Firefox again--Firefox Setup Stub 26.0 and tried to install but received message that I had to close Firefox first. I did not have Firefox open. When I do try to open it Firefox appears on my desktop monitor but it will not do anything after that. I can't even close it and have to go into my task manager to get it to close. Thanks be to God I didn't uninstall IE because that is what I have to use now to get on the Internet. Is there any solution to this problem I am having? This happens to me quite often and I have been considering returning to IE as my browser instead of continuing with Firefox.
Sometimes Firefox will hang during startup or shutdown, and still be running invisibly in the background. Usually in that case, you need to "kill" it either by restarting Windows or using the Windows Task Manager. It sounds as though you are familiar with opening the Processes tab, finding firefox.exe, and using End Process.

A couple of other suggestions:
(1) Can you start Firefox in its Safe Mode? Hold down the Shift key when starting Firefox. You should get a two-button dialog. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset). Any difference?

for months I have checked the forums, and seen the same issues with Adobe Flash Player ... I have uninstalled and reinstalled too many times now and am totally frustrated with Firefox,. I just get it working again and Firefox updates and then I have the same issues ... and now my java script is screwing up and it never did before .... this all came after the latest update .... is anyone else having these issues or is my operating system under attack???
Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

FB4 doesn't tell me what's wrong with my code. Not even letting me trace().
Attached is my code that run well but the problem is, I know there is something wrong with my code since the dropdown list isn't populated unlike the textarea. Doesn't even put anything on the output panel when i do trace()-ing.

@Jason: thanks. the prob was with my e4x expression but with the console output thingy, now i run in debug mode but got the error:

After upgrade to mountain lion a hd with snow leopard will not boot and run the MBP
Upgraded MacBook Pro to 10.8.2. Works fine. Swapped out the internal hard drive with 10.8.2 on it, put in the old hard drive with 10.6.8 and booted up as per usual. Mac fires up but dos not finish the boot process and it leaves me with an on and off pulsating gray folder that has a question mark on it. I have tried a brand new drive with a new 10.6.8 installed and it misbehaves the same way.
Does the Apple store upgrade process alter the internal MacBook Pro or its software in any way? I was not, am not aware of such software. I want to be able to carry along two hard drives, swappable, with different OSX and applications when I go out to help people out of their problems. Something I have done successfully for the past 15 years - free of charge, I might add.
This is the first time that I am stumped. I am not a programmer btw.

First, open the “Startup Disk” preference pane and select “Mac OS X” as the operating system to boot. This will re-bless your Mac OS X volume on the older install.
No need to delete or zero the drive at all.
