What is wrong with me Email server on my MAC?

I am having problems with my email server on my Mac.
I can retrieve my messages with out a problem.
But when i go to send a message. It says the server
The sender address [email protected] was rejected by the server mail.tbaytel.net.
Select a different outgoing mail server from the list below or click Try Later to leave the message in your Outbox until it can be sent."
When i click on connection doctor, i have all green lights and says things are working fine.
I have an ipod touch and i am able to send and receive emails on my IPOD without any problems using same mail and internet service
So what am i doing wrong on my MAc
i deleted the account and installed it again
but still getting same message.
Any thoughts on this

Is this the only email address that fails? Attempts to finger that email acccount don't return any results, so if that's the only one that's faliing, you may just have an invalid email address, or the mail server handing that domain may be down.

I found the following that goes over troubleshooting the same issue for the iPhone. I know you have an iPad, but the steps should still apply:
Perform the following steps:
Restart the iPhone.
Try another means of reaching the activation server and attempt to activate.
Try connecting to a known-good Wi-Fi network if you're unable to activate using a cellular data connection.
Try connecting to iTunes if you're unable to activate using Wi-Fi.
Restore the iPhone.
If you receive an alert message when you attempt to activate your iPhone, try to place the iPhone in recovery mode and perform a restore. If you're still unable to complete the setup assistant due to an activation error, contact Apple for assistance.

What's wrong with my email?

I have a Treo 755p for Sprint. For the last 2 days we have been attempting to set up my email. I can receive the emails from my home computer, but for some reason I cannot send them. It keeps saying "Authentication is Required to send as xxxxxxxxxx (my email address). I have called Sprint, I was on the phone with them for an hour and he couldn't figure it out. His only thought was that Time Warner (my ISP) may have something going on with their server that would prohibit me from sending from my Palm device. Time Warner says no, that's not correct. I called Palm and the people in the technical support department were of no help. I don't know who else to call to get help sending emails.
We have checked all of the settings. It appears the incoming and outgoing servers are correct. The passwords are obviously correct because I am receiving emails, but I just cannot send them.
Does anyone know how to fix this or who I can call to help me?

Hi.. Welcome to the Palm forums. If your sending but not receiving one of two things are happening, either one of the outgoing settings are not correct or sprint has outgoing email from that ISP blocked to control spam going thru of their servers. The error you are getting, "Authentication is Required to send as xxxxxxxxxx" indicates either outgoing authentication or outgoing ssl are required. In versamail tap at the top and go to accounts then account setup then edit at the bottom. Next to get to the incoming and outgoing server page. Tap on the advanced button, you'll see two boxes, use secure connection and user authentication. Check the second box (APOP) then test. I do not believe roadrunner requires ssl. That should do it, if your still getting a error let me know.

What is wrong with my email?

Every time I open the mail app it tells me to enter my email password but after I do that it says "this operation couldn't be completed (MFMessageErrorDomain error 1032) and asks me for a password. What am I supposed to do? I dont know what password it's asking me for.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Go to Settings>Mail> the account and turn it off and then turn it back on
- Power off and then back on your router.
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- Go to Settings>Mail and delete the account and reenter the settings
- Restore the iPod

What is wrong with my log in display screen?

Hey There guys,
This problem started occurring right after i updated to Yosemite, which was quite a while back. Every time I turn on my computer and I get to the log in screen where I put my password, half the screen is normal and the other half is black with green lines running through it(this was the latest) other times it is white rectangles with little black ones running through them. Im not sure what is wrong with it, I never dropped my mac or anything.

If this is the same E2900 that you have mentioned in every one of your other forum posts, then it would seem you need to contact Technical Support and open a proper support request. These forums are NOT techsupport and that system seems so poorly configured that it needs deep analysis. Such investigation cannot be done by using an online forum.
The immediate solution is to log on to the SC of that box and power it down, then boot it back up. At least it will be running after that.

TS3899 I cannot send email from my ipad the message keeps saying rejected by the server but there is nothing wrong with my email account with talk talk as I am able to send email from my iPhone and laptop any ideas?

My email won't send from my iPad. It says the server rejects it almost immediately I press the send email button, although there is nothing wrong with my email account when sending from my laptop or iphone. I have cancelled the account and re-entered it but it hasn't made a difference? Anybody help?

Thank you for your help . The account used to work perfectly until recently, after receiving support from the provider, I deleted the account now I am trying to set the account again.
After putting in the first details (name, email, description) Cannot send mail the password or username for "mail.bigpond.com" is incorrect. I would expect this because the information I put in is not for Bigpond. So I press ok & I change the outgoing server (this is the one that is incorrectly labelled bigpond) to aapt, then I press save.
Then it says "verifying" but comes up with Cannot connect using SSL do you want to try setting up the account without SSL. I press yes.
Then I get the message "the POP server "mail.aapt.net.au" is not responding. Check your network connection & that you entered the correct information in the incoming mail server. (I ahve already checked this with aapt & it is correct.

The collum to the right listed similar problems. The solution appears to be that under smtp outgoing settings the user name and password are listed as optional. I have not plugged in the information and it seems to be working. However from my office it always allowed the relaying. The true test will be when I try to respond later from the road.

Final attempt to find out what's wrong with my pin...

This is my final attempt to find out what is wrong with my ping.
When I try and play online games, they become completely unplayable because very frequently but randomly the ping/latency (ping = milliseconds a request from your pc takes to get to server) spikes up from 20ms to 600ms! This makes it unplayable...
It happens on wired and wireless, any idea what's wrong?

What's wrong with my browsers?

When i first got my macbook the internet was going really slow but then i changed the dns server to 4.2.2.2 and sometimes change it to 4.2.2.1 and the internet got better but now my browsers are acting funny.
One moment i'm surfing webpages with safari or firefox.... Chatting with AdiumX or MS Messenger... and suddenly it just stops... Msn is getting time-out's, Safari says I'm not connected.
But Airport sais it is still connected to my wireless network (with all the black bar's filled). It has valid IP adress etc, But everywhere I want to go on the internet it sais I'm not connected.
When I disconnect the airport en let it reconnect with my wireless network, the connection is fine.
how can i fix this?

Most users shouldn't be manually entering DNS addresses, and those DNS addresses you mention probably aren't intended for end users. Is Level3 your ISP?
That doesn't answer 'what's wrong with my browsers?', but a good start would be to configure your network according to your ISP's instructions. If you have DNS problems then, you might try using OpenDNS.
