What is XUL runner error platform which shows up when I start
When I try to access Mozilla a box appears on screen saying:
XUL runner
error platform version 1.9.2.9. is not compatible with
minversion greater than 1.9.2.10
maxversion less than 1.9.2.10
I cant go on line and I cant stop this appearing. Please help
Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.

After downloading Firefox version 6.0.2 launching get XUL Runner "Error: Platform version 6.0 is not compatible with minVersion>=6.0.2 maxVersion<=6.0.2
If using Zone Alarm's browser virtualization or any other similar product or a sand-boxing program (i.e., Sandboxie), turn it off when updating Firefox or Firefox Add-ons. You can post on the forum for any such product that you might be using to get other instructions on the proper use of the product.

Firfox requested to update previous version to new version of which i allowed. After installation complete i tried to connect to the internet and was denied with a following error window appearing. As explained above i shall explain again as shown in the error window.

This problem occurred shortly after updating to Firefox 5.0 I kept getting reminders to update to 5.0 When I finally decided to update, the first 4 or 5 attempts failed for one reason or another always with a different error message At some point after and extended shutdown of the computer 5.0 was initiated.

When I attempt to launch Firefox in a Sandboxie sandbox the following dialog is displayed:

There are parts of the application that are missing. You will need to reinstall iPhoto. To do so you'll have to delete the current application and all files with "iPhoto" in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder,
