What it is for Bonjour? Is something wrong if I deactivate the program?

hi there, I don't know which is the main use of Bonjour, I don´t know it is or not good to deactivate or uninstall the program. I was going to do that, but in other forums I read that getting done that action could have bad results on iTunes, so I didn't do that because I use iTunes for my music, for appstore, etc.
Could someone help me?

iTunes uses Bonjour to find shared music libraries, to find AirPort Express devices for streaming music to, and to find Apple TVs.

Once you download an iOS app, you cannot run that app from the computer. That can only be run from an iOS device. You cannot download Mac Apps from the iTunes App Store, those are downloaded from the Mac App Store. Two different places. If you want a Mac app that will run on your Mac, you need to download that from the Mac App Store. iTunes App Store only has iOS apps that work on iOS devices, iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

Any clue, how i can add a mail account to apple mail app, but with separate password / pin to open it.
Years ago there was a program called mail switcher which added this functionality, but thats gone.

They would have to be logged in as separate users in order not to see your account in Mail. Whatever accounts put in Mail under your account will show up. All mail accounts usually have there own user and password. The only thing you can do is to remove the password from Keychain and take the account offline so you don't keep getting prompts for passwords each time it checks for mail.
Not a great solution.
Best way is to give the other user their own user account with their own mail and enable fast user swithcing to log between the different users if all access the computer frequently.

Can you please share the error message that you are getting ? Are you transfering the data using Time Machine or any third party Back up tool ? if yes , kindly not use that , as that could cause Adobe Softwares not to work . I must be doing something wrong because none of the Adobe software can open my RAW files.

None of the adobe software recognize the RAW files from my Nikon D7100. I had no problems opening raw files from my D5000. I even tried to convert them to DNG but that didn't work either. I have used Lightroom, Photoshop CC, Bridge, Photoshop Elements 13, Photoshop 8. I wasn't able to see my Raw files in windows either until I downloaded NEC codec...and, of course, I can see them in the Nikon software. I have 8 folders of pics taken with the new camera. In the last folder, I can see and work with my RAW files and in one folder, there is one RAW file I can work with. All the rest are blank and won't open. In one folder, Lightroom won't even show the JPEGs. I shoot in RAW + (JPEG) FINE. I've downloaded all the files the same way. I will try to download them again, but not all of them are still on the card. I even tried to convert them to DNG, but if they can't be seen as RAW, they won't convert to DNG. The D7100 has been out for a while, so I can't believe that Adobe wouldn't work for it.

The IMG_6564.CR2 file on dropbox is corrupted in that it is missing most of the raw data which is why PS and LR cannot open it. For this specific file, at least, the camera-embedded-jpg preview is intact and can be extracted, so while not as good as the raw file, it is better than nothing.
Here is what IrfanView shows for the raw image:

I was able to extract the camera-embedded jpg preview using EXIF Tool, with the following command:
exiftool -b -PreviewImage -w _preview.jpg -ext cr2 -r ./.
where ./.means the current folder in the CMD window. If the images were in a different folder, for example C:\Pictures, then the last part of the command would be -r C\Pictures
This created a IMG_6564_preview.jpg from the original IMG_6564.CR2 file.
The next step is to copy all the metadata over from the CR2 to its corresponding preview.jpg file:
exiftool -tagsfromfile %d%-.8f.cr2 -all:all -r -overwrite_original -ext jpg ./.

ExifTool can be downloaded from the Windows Executable box near the top of the page at the following website, and once you download the extiftool-whatever.zip then extract exfitool(-k).exe then rename exiftool(-k).exe to exiftool.exe and copy it to the folder where your CR2 files reside then run the two commands, above to extract all the embedded previews:

Finally, it would be wise to determine why the files are corrupted. Usually it is the memory card, itself, that is going bad. Are all the images bad or just one here and there?

It should be in the typical location. Which operating system are you using exactly? What Adobe software did you just install?

11 Release 2 Activex viewer prompts for parameters even after I set them in the program

My program worked in 11 base. I upgraded to 11 Release 2 and now the viewer prompts the user for the parameters even though the program has set the parameters

I got the same problem. I could encounter it does appear when using date parameters. We are using german OS and german VS6 so date is localized as "dd.mm.yyyy" but in the report parameter fields it is expected as "jjjj-mm-dd". I cant convert the param in code because it will always be localized to german date.
Could this be the problem? When yes why isn't crystal reports accepting localized dates?

In any case, your connection speed and Apple's servers' possible overload play a role - it is a huge download, so I would let it progress; as long as you do see progress, it should be fine.
Since you seem to have a slow connection, I'd recommend that - once the download is finished and before the install begins - you dismiss the installer. You will find it in your Applications folder. copy it and place it in a safe place (another folder or, better, an external drive) so you will not have to endure the slow download again (the installer deletes itself after the install). After that, double click the installer and proceed with the install.

Why are my photos suddenly in JPEG format when taking them from camera card to IPHOTO - which then wont let me download into a file! Help been doing this for years and something has suddenly changed in the last 2 days to my camera? or IPHOTO??

over the last years- but 15 weeks specifically I have downloaded photos from my camers card- putting it straight into the apple mac and then opening IPHOTO then i am able to click and put the pics into my folders in IPHOTO but as of 2 days ago - the camera card went in, the pics opened BUT there is an error message which states iphoto cannot save them to file......as they are JPEGS
I can see that others too have had this issue and there are 'answers' but I am a complete novice and cannot understand the answers given and need someone to 'hand hold me' through a step by step this is what you must do....

Something wrong with BT or the Internet?

Hi guys, I'm on Infinity 2, supposed to get speeds of 37mb down and 8 mb up. Most of the time I do with the odd scatty problem but nothing to cry about. Past couple of days and especially today my speeds have been 0.04mb down and 2-3mb up? It takes an age to get anywhere on the net (If I can get there at all) and I can't even run the speedtest.net site. The BT wholesale test site won't even acknowledge that I have a fttc connection. So, what's the problem?

LR mobile is part of your CC subscription. Otherwise none has much to do with the other. per se there is no CC for iPad, but there are some complimentary apps that can work with an existing CC account, mostly by exchanging data via the web storage/ sync feature.
