In iBooks, what does it mean when it says: you have already purchased this item. To download it check available downloads in the store menu?

Apologies if I seem rude but isn't it obvious?
you have already purchased this item means you have already purchased this item - you don't need to buy it, you've already bought it.
To download it check available downloads in the store menu means to download it check available downloads in the store menu. So if you look at your top menu bar (in your iTunes programme) select the Store and from the menu that appears, select Check for available downloads. My guess (and I realise I'm risking my reputation here ) is that when you click on that, you will see a list of the items you've bought which will include anything you haven't yet downloaded to your iTunes. I assume there will be an option with that list to download those items.
I would like to thank the person who thought of the idea of taking different words and putting them in a certain order, so that those words form a sentence, and that sentence can then be read by other people and those people understand. Genius!

  • Whats the meaning when variables are enclosed by brackets

    Hi,
Whats the meaning when variables are enclosed by brackets?
    like say
    lv_fieldname(25) TYPE c.
    lv_fieldname  = 'Material01'.
what does it mean by saying
    ASSIGN (lv_fieldname) TO <fs_fieldname>.

In many statement in ABAP, brackets mean that real "name" of operand (object) will be determined during runtime.
    Normally you would write
    data lv_fieldname(25) TYPE c VAUE 'SOME_FIELD'.
    assign lv_fieldname to <fs>.
    write: <fs>.
This code is static . It means that when syntax check takes place, compilator looks for definition of lv_fieldname.
It then assigns value of this field. The resuts is printintg on screen text "SOME_VALUE"
Now you have similar code, but with brackets
    data: lv_fieldname(25) TYPE c VAUE 'SOME_FIELD',
             some_field type i vlaue 5.
    assign (lv_fieldname) to <fs>.
    write: <fs>.
Here code is dynamic . It means that compilator doens't realy know the field name which will be assigned to <fs>.
We told him that this will be determined during runtime ( by means of brackets ) and the real field name we want to assing, is stored in LV_FIELDNAME.
    This is equal to writing
    assign ('SOME_FIELD') to <fs>.
When program starts, it is no LV_FIELDNAME which is assinged to <fs>, but the field which is stored in LV_FIELDNAME, namely 'SOME_FIELD'.
So the printed result will be 5 .
The same rule with dynamic operands applies i.e. in select statement
data: my_table(5) type c value 'SPFLI'.
    select * from (my_table) ...
There is no table in DB named my_table , but compilator "knows" that we don't what to fetch data from MY_TABLE, but we want table name to be determined dynamically (during runtime). So, it is  'SPFLI' table which here will be taken into account.
    One more note!
Such dynamic statements are generic (doesn't constitute fixed code) and open new range of possiblities.
Simple extending above example will create flexible (generic) program which can fetch data from different tables with one statement.
    parameters: pa_tabname(40) type c.
    select * from (pa_tabname) into ....
Of course here you need also dynamic internal table as target area, but this is of no importance here.
Hope this claryfies magic with brackets;)
    Regards
    Marcin

do you know what it means when messages are blue on iphone

Green messages are normal SMS messages and consume your carrier's SMS plan messages. Blue messages are those sent via the new iMessage service and are sent over a wifi or data connection. They do not count toward SMS limits, and can be sent to anyone with iMessage activated on any iDevice - iPhone, iPad, or iPod.

  • What does mean when a imac screen goes all white

what does mean when a imac screen goes all white

Hopefully its not the logic board. try a PRAM reset: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
basically hold cmd, option, P, and R directly after start. Keep holding them down until you hear two chimes. That indicates a successful PRAM reset. It is not uncommon to hear 3.
If that doesnt work try an SMC reset. Pull out the power cord from the back of the mac for atleast 15 seconds. plug it in again for 5 seconds and power back on ...http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964

  • Anybody know what it means when something is bold in htop?

I use htop all the time and I have never seen this. I have my .Xdefaults configured so urxvt makes anything bold highlight bright orange like this.
    URxvt*colorBD: #af5f00
Today I randomly switched over to the tag where htop is always open and I noticed that the "/usr/bin/X -nolisten tcp" line was in bold (bright orange). Ive never seen anything bold in htop before so I did some google searching and man page reading to see what it means but came up empty. I cant find any documentation anywhere that mentions it or what it means, so I was hoping someone here might have some Idea.

    lol, your right
Never knew about that before, thanks

  • What does mean when the "meatball" is gray?

    CS4 on a Mac.
What is Illustrator trying to tell me when the circle on the right side of a path description inside the layers panel is filled with gray?
I'm sure the circle has a name - I called it "meatball" in the headline becasue I recall that one of the instructors on Lynda.com referred to it that way.

It's the target symbol. The trainer should have told you that it's related to appearances. It tells you that there are special appearances applied (e.g. an effect or a second fill or stroke). Click on the target symbol and then open the appearance panel to inspect the appearances.

  • What to do when a table name is a reserved word?

I know the best answer is not to use a reserved word to name a table. But I have no control over that in this situation. I have read that using all Caps and quotations will allow you to use the table name in queries, i.e. "CATEGORY" is suppose to free the table to be used. But that is certainly not working, nor any variation of that formatting.
Does anyone know how to format a reserved word to allow queries?
    Thank You

    Use double quotes:
    SQL> create table ALTER (a number);
    create table ALTER (a number)
    ERROR at line 1:
    ORA-00903: invalid table name
    SQL> create table "ALTER" (a number);
    Table created.
    SQL> desc alter
    ERROR:
    ORA-00931: missing identifier
    SQL> desc "ALTER"

    A                                                  NUMBER
    SQL> insert into "ALTER"

  • What does "/"  "\" mean when using it on the Timeline?

Learning Adobe premier pro classroom CC

The "\" key zooms into the timeline. So if you can't see all of your clips because you are zoomed in too far, the "\" will set your view to fit to the visible area of the timeline.
The "/" key marks the selection.
In the future, the best way to get that information is to go into the Edit menu, select Keyboard Shortcuts, and type in the keys you want to know more about. It will show you what action is related to the key you enter and if no action aqppears then you know that key or key combination is available for you to assign to something.
