What key do I press to eject my SD memory card?

What Key do I press to eject my SD memory card from my macBook Pro laptop? Thanks.

It does not eject like a CD/DVD does. You unmount the card from the system and then just pull it out. See:

What Keys to press to get Windows 7 Task Manager on MacBook Pro ?

Thanks for the help. I got the Task Manager thru the taskbar,  but I was and still am trying to it by key entry because that is what I am used to.  My MBP has a delete key, unlike other keystroke attempt that I have
tried where a delete key isn't on a Mac.  I also am a retired enggggineeeer so there's bound to be confusion because I am left-handed too.
    Thanks again !!!!

  • What key to press to reboot into main screen?

Sorry I don't know how to call that screen but I know when I restart I need to hold onto a key and I'll be lead into that screen, I want to delete my Windows XP partition in there. Can someone please tell me what key I should be holding when I'm restarting? Thank you.

If you are asking how to switch between Windows and OS X then restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the desired startup volume and click on the down arrow button. You cannot delete the Boot Camp partition from the boot manager screen. To delete the Boot Camp partition you must use the Boot Camp Assistant in your Utilities folder.

  • How many keys can be pressed at once

i want to play an online rhythm music game.. which would require the pressing of more than one key at one time.. so I wish to know how many keys can be pressed at once without the computer hanging or the keyboard jamming?
I'm using a Macbook, 2.0ghz, Black with 1 gig ram. Thanks.

By and large the keyboard does what the programmer of the software tells it to do - part of the programming is to address the input/output devices required by the application. By the same token the programmer can't require you to use keystrokes that can't be addressed through the OS involved.
It doesn't make much sense for someone to write software that can't be used.

  • Tool bars missing advisor says 'hold key down - What KEY???

My tool bars went missing, so I went to help. The advise said this is a 'new' feature [who needs this???] It also said I could restore the tool bars that I didn't ask to lose by holding 'the key' down and pressing V T etc at the same time. But, My key board probably has 50 odd keys on it. Which one of these is the magic key, so I can restore features I had set up the way I wanted in the first place. BTW, if this is an 'Improvement' please, don't try to fix what ain't broke - some of us like Mozilla because it is easy to use. I could always go with Explorer if I want gimmicks that accomplish nothing, but frustrating the user.

Reference to the option key was found in the instructions to Reset toolbars and controls from support Mozilla.
Thank you for the info. Pressing the alt key does produce the tool bar temporarily. I can use bookmarks if I act quickly before the toolbar disappears. With your info I will go back and try to get the toolbar back permanently.

  • Keyboard acting as if CTRL+ the key that I press is input, won't type

"when i press something the keyboard works as if i am pressing Ctrl + the key that i press. For example when i press S it thinks that i am pressing Ctrl + S therefore the save menu comes up ?
Does anybody know what the problem could be?" (Quote from another post)
I am having the same problem.  This happened for the first time today after the computer was asleep for about two hours.  Alternately , sometimes after the computer is asleep the fingerprint reader stops working.  If I restart the computer the issues go away but I don't think it is feasible to restart the computer after everytime is has bene asleep for a while. Please help! I have an »HP Pavilion dv7-6c67nr Entertainment Notebook PC purchased only about a week ago.

Orange juice is acidic, and if you didn't clean it up, it probably destroyed some of the components on the motherboard. I think that maybe if you try replacing it, that might solve the problem, but don't take my word for it, because I'm not entirely sure.
PS. The clicking noise might be from the speakers? that was the case with my old iBook, does the sound work? And does your computer make a startup chime when you turn it on?

  • Mega 865 Pro System Crash pressing CD eject button

Samsung SpinPoint 250GB SATA II Hard Drive SP2004C
    1GB Kingston Hyperx 512 DDR400 PC3200 CL3
    Intel Pentium 4 630 3 Ghz Socket 775 800Mhz 2mb
    LG GSA4163B 16X DVD Dual Layer R/RW/RAM
    Windows XP SP2
When I press the eject button to eject a CD the system crashes into bootup and then goes through the disk error check and then reloads successfully. I originally made a post on this subject but then, after uninstalling and reinstalling everything I got it to work.
What should happen when you press the eject button is a message appears on the Windows desktop saying somethng like "CD Eject". and the cd ejects. However the underlying system must be buggy because it starts to crash all over agian when something in a variety of pieces of software gets installed. I just installed ASPI drivers because Audiocatalyst indicated that only Analogue access was available when accessing my DVD drive. I have had that problem before using Windows 2000 and installing the API drivers that Microsoft for some reason does not install solved the problem. BUt now, AGAIN!! the damn system crashes when I press the eject button.
MSI techincal support is abysmal and no reply from them so far. IN fact, there query system does not even work any more.
Luckily I have ghosted a working system but what can I do to stop the system crashing?
I have read on other posts that I should change DVD drives but that can't be the reason because it does work until some small, and common system changes occur like updating ASPI drivers. I see there is a new sticky on this system which I will add to when it is stable - and I would not recommend anyone to buy it until all the problems are ironed out and until MSI talks to its customers.
I forgot to add that if I open the CD flap and press the drives own button it works perfectly which means that it is MSI's hardware that is at fault.

(sorry, I posted this message to another topic as well...)
    Hi,
Some days ago I encountered a problem that seem to be very similar to this. My MEGA180 freezes because of the DVD writer. The situation is as follows:
The PC boots up without error.
If the PC was booted with a CD/DVD in the tray, it can be read without errors.
I can open the DVD tray by pressing the front panel eject button.
    And now comes the problem...
The front panel button does not respond, I cannot close the tray.
If I close the tray by pressing the traay itself, the contend of the CD/DVD cannot be read, the machine freezes.
The machine works perfectly in HiFi mode.
I reinstalled Windows to a clean HDD, the problem remains.
I replaced the DVD reader with a brand new one, the problem remains.
This problem emerged without any specific reason, from one day to another. before that, Mega180 worked perfectly for several months. I did not change anything in the system during those days when the problem emerged. However, I was using Nero several times then.
Does anyone has any idea what can be the reason for this problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Coix

MY COMPUTER IS LOCKED UP WHAT KEYS DO I PUSH AT START UP TO FORCE THE OS TO WORK?

    brittneydoyen,
you can try this: boot your MacBook Pro into Recovery mode by holding down a Command key and the R key as it starts up. Once the OS X Utilities menu appears, select Disk Utility. On the left-hand side of the Disk Utility window, select your internal disk’s boot partition (typically called “Macintosh HD”). On the right-hand side, press the Verify Disk button if it’s not greyed out; if it is greyed out, or if it reports that errors were found, press the Repair Disk button. Once the verification/repair is completed, exit Disk Utility and select Restart from the Apple menu to restart in normal mode. Is it able to get to the login screen now?
