I participated in a JCOP training 2 years ago. It was then a two day training, where the first day was an introduction into GlobalPlatform and Java Card. If one took only the second day, the pre-requisite was to know about GlobalPlatform. So if you take the full training, I think NXP should introduce you to GlobalPlatform to make you understand the concepts and what it can be used for.

  • What i've to prepare for NXP JCOP training?

    Hi Friends..
I've a plan to follow NXP JCOP training..
Do you've any suggestion for me regarding what stuffs that i've understood before follow the training?..
Because i'm pretty new in the Java Card technology, since the training is 1 month left..
    Thanks in advance..

    Hi,
You have a great chance to take training course on JCOP, congratulation!
It's good for you to start the Javacard develop kit 2.2.2 version on eclipse with JCDE.(Java Card Development Environment), I think.
Because JCOP tools provide similar develop environment on eclipse 3.2 version.
Once you start with eclipse, you can familiar JCOP tools.
Second, analyze the sample codes such as Javapurse, Wallet...etc on java card development kit 2.2.2.
(Of course, the installation procedure is described at user guide which is included kit - document folder)
Third, if you are familiar Java programing, more easier to start JCOP tools, otherwise, you should study basic grammer of Java programing language.
Hope to share the document or experiences after course. Good Luck~

    Welcome to Apple Communities
You don't need to install iTunes for the purchase history. You can see it in your iPad (iTunes > Purchased), but you need to install it if you want the order numbers

  • What are the different messages that OCOD may return for a web service requ

    Hi,
Please give me feedback on the questions below, concerning the limitations of web service, and messages which may return.
    1) What are the different messages that OCOD may return for a web service request? I need all the messages of all the scenarios which OCOD can meet, for example:
    - If the file is rejected (Error message)
    - If the file is accepted (to clarify that the records have been created)
    - if the application is unavailable (maintenance or web service is down)
    2) How many request can we send simultaneously, and how many records we can make per second?

  • What kind of plugin has been used, anyone know?

    Hello:
Does anyone know what kind of plugin was used on the photos to achieve the effect and transition?
    http://www.digitallyspeaking.tv/MASTER.mp4
    Thanks,
    Wolflover

Too me this move looks a little too generic to be a plug-in. It absolutely could be, but trying to find it based on descriptive terms of what's going on would be time-consuming as the moves aren't anything too special. By the time you found the plug-in and then learned how to use it, you probably could've built them from scratch in Motion.
Do you have Motion? If you do the work there you can save projects as templates that can be dropped inside FCP sequences. This may sound daunting but when you analyze the moves on those pics it's basically scaling in a single dimension for a few frames. CUT to the new pic, already scaled just like the outgoing pic was, and then scale it up (quickly) to full size. Over about 8 frames? Not impossible even for a newbie. Might take longer than you estimate, but certainly a doable project for a beginner. (If said beginner is willing to do their homework: Read the Manual.)
Plugs are great. But unless you're willing to tweak them (heavily) then they look canned. Like the same stuff everyone else is using. If you build your own thing in Motion you'll have all the flexibility in the world. You could mock this look completely for starters. And then later, alter it enough so that it doesn't look exactly like something you've already found.

  • What kind of upgrades are my iMac model eligible for?

Hi, I have the same problem and was wondering if someone could walk me through what I need to do to find out what kind of upgrades the iMac model I have is eligible for?
    <Re-Titled By Host>

The model identifier info provided shows what may be a 20-inch or 24-inch, as iMac7.1
These may see an upgrade in RAM so as to facilitate running a system software upgrade:
Maximum Memory   6.0 GB (Actual) 4.0 GB (Apple)
    Memory Slots    2 - 200-pin PC2-5300 (667MHz) DDR2 SO-DIMM
Until some time ago there had been a Firmware Update:  iMac EFI Firmware Update 1.3
however, now the link previously available, appears to no longer function.
According to http://mactracker.ca database application, your general iMac7.1 series is
able to run as new a system as Yosemite 10.10; however some users had found that to
be a bit far of a reach for this old a model due to hardware limits of the vintage. If not
already running at least Snow Leopard 10.6.8, you could get & try Mountain Lion 10.8.5
(buy $19. upgrade code, from Apple; that would unlock Mac app download) as Mavericks
10.9.5 is no longer available as an upgrade to older systems. The theory is that if a Mac
could use Mavericks, it should be able to accommodate Yosemite. But, not always.
Some people liked Snow Leopard 10.6.8 - and it is on retail DVD for easy offline restore
or bootable utilities on the same disc - still available from Apple $19. It should run fine
unless you have some need to upgrade further. This system is needed to go to App Store
and other aspects of the newer OS X available from the internet only.
The site http://everymac.com has a fair database of most things Mac, so that in addition
to the download MacTracker app, are good references and hardware example data.
    Hopefully this helped some.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • What kind of menu bar navigation should i do for my website

My website to start off is a giant tree that i created in Illustrator and i want to put the navigation dispersed throughout the tree an idea i had was a tag like the kind they used to tie to your luggage with twine made out of paper I don't really want the words to just be sitting in the tree either it looks too boring. I tried doing larger leafs but i don't like that idea either it just looks out of place. what kind of Menu bar should i do for the website?

design decisions, like beauty, is your call.  but, if you like the idea of leaves and a navigation system that's not particularly easy to use, create some leaves in your tree that stand-out some way.  they need not be large and certainly not large enough to display their text.  but on mouseover they could enlarge and display their text.

  • What kind of mac pro specs should I have for video editing?

I am running the media department for Skagit Valley College and am in charge of editing for our online content. I am currently using an imac with FCP6 but am spending way too much time rendering. I am wondering about what kind of specs I should consider for building a mac pro to cut down on some of that time as well as setting up an audio recording studio. Microphones, cables, software, and hardware specs are all issues that puzzle me at the moment as far as what is going to be the best fit for my productions...
    please help
    -anthony

Virtually any Mac Pro 6-core or up will work well, but obviously the more cores the better. Save the budget by adding your own RAM (I like 2GB per core) and hard drives (3TB Hitachi 7200 RPM drives are a good value) from reputable vendors. Avoid "green" drives that use lower spindle speed to save energy.
Get the fastest available video board (currently the 5870) and consider consider dial third party displays (I'm using a pair of 27" Samsungs, half the price of a single Apple 27) and look into a Matrox MXO2 mini to handle your grading monitor.
Get a copy of Final Cut Studio (2009) ASAP while it's still available and talk to your Apple rep about additional licenses if needed. If you know FCP6 and like it, you need to "bunker" the app and ignore FCP X until it fleshes out.
If you need more help, let me know...  I've been on FCP since version 3 and I'm a native Washingtonian. Just don't call me Homie!
    Good luck!

  • What kind of password (WEP, WAP, WAP2) to choose for Airport Base Station?

    Hi,
I just got an Apple TV. I am using an Airport Base Station to connect to the Internet wireless with my iMac. So far without any password-protection (very neglectant, I know).
i want to password protect but I am getting confused on how to do this.
Can someone please explain in basic language, as I am not a computer-geek, how I should do this and what kind of password I should use. WEP, WAP, WAP2 - that's way to confusing for me. What should I use so that the ATV is functioning properly?

The tv uses all these types of security, WEP is the weakest and WPA2 is the strongest security. Each allows you to enter varying lengths of passwords, in theory the longer the password the more secure but I wouldn't always say that was true (i.e. '1W3e7' is likely to be more secure than 'password1').
I use WPA2 with an eight character password.

  • What kind of code signing certificate do I need for Profile Manager?

I'm new to Lion Server and the Profile Manager, and I'm wondering what kind of CA-recognized code signing certificate I would need to buy to use in the Profile Manager -> Sign configuration profiles? For example, Verisign sells a bunch of different kind (http://www.verisign.com/code-signing/): Microsoft Authenticode, Java, etc.

The cable should be just the normal one, the special smarts that tell the tablet to charge at full speed is in the power brick.

  • What type of authorized items that we can bring for a MCSD exam?

    Hi all,
I wonder if I can bring a reference type text book during a MCSD exams?
In the security policy section https://www.microsoft.com/learning/en-us/certification-exam-policies.aspx#security-policies it stated i can not bring unauthorized-items, this mean there are items that are authorized (api reference), is it correct?
    Thanks,
    Sam

Nope. Basically, everything is unauthorized, except for clothes (excluding a coat). No books of any kind, no writing implements or scratch paper (except for the one that the center supplies), no mobile phones or other electronic devices. In one exam center
they even required that I leave my wallet in a locker outside the exam room.

  • This morning after an automatic update, I could not access my email on the phone at all. I rebooted.  I checked settings.  No mail app will open.  what kind of update was that?

There was an automatic update to my ios on my phone whjen I checked it this morning.  I hit "download" and it did.  Since then , all my email accounts which I have been accessing with no problem are not accessible on my phone.  I cna;t even open the phone app in settings - nothing.
I hit reset after tring several fixes, but that didn't make a difference.
    What's up?

First, try to reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button for about 10sec, until the Apple logo comes back again. You will not lose data, but it can clear some glitches after installing new software or apps.
If this does not help, set it up as new device, explained here:

  • How do I get out of an iphone restoration loop, itunes keeps saying it has detected an iphone in restore mode and that it must check for software updates and reinstall the ios, it completes this process and then says: detected iphone in restore mode etc.,

Background: my iphone 3gs was running wonderfully - no issues at all, as normal.
I let the power run down to critical and got the empty battery screen - plugged it in and when it had enuf juice it displayed the cord-to-itunes-of-death-screen...
I had just backed up the previous to icloud so no worries... I just plugged in and thought ok this will just take a second...it completed the restore then said with a glazed amnesic font "Itunes has detected an iPhone in recovery mode, and has never seen or restored this iphone ever before, since this is a stranger iphone, itunes does not trust it and must call the ipolice to check for contraban in its orifices and cavities, you must restore"... kidding of course... but
OMG at home I did the whole restore process no less than 20 times while optimizing and accounting for different variables each time (restoring on a new system with a fresh OS, trying to restore and a mac, restoring then restarting empty cache, restart unistall itunes then restore restart restore, installing an older version of Itunes and restoring. going back to Vista and restoring), and every single time it would complete the check, the update/check, the ios reinstall, and then whatever else and say "complete"... and then no icon menu would appear for the device in itunes so unplug the phone and replug and get the whole "Itunes must render restore aid" message. SO I went to the genuis bar at my local iBoutique thrice - each time the bewildered but very courteous and knowledgable genuis wanted to keep trying ... since I had been on this treadmill for about two weeks I decided each time to respect my fellow appletonians and not suck up genius time... but I really want my old 3gs back... why - I like that it amazes the youth who occaisonal are puzzled by seeing something apple that they don't recognize and in wonder and amazement at its age they learn that even though its no longer invited to iOS family gatherings that it still can call home and ask why Apple waited so long when it was a kid to give it copy-paste ability like all the other kids, then ask for money for the shrink bill.. ... . . ..

Soooooooo.... You obviously need to restore the device
It seems that you have tried several options to restore it. What I would do is leave it plugged it and hold down the Home button AND the Power button together till you see the white apple appears. Then let go of the Power button but continue to hold the home button. You should get the message in iTunes again saying that the iPhone needs to be restored. Hit OK then RESTORE.
    Hope this helps!!
