i am learning mail to file adapter can u tell me in real time where it is use,
well what data we will transfer from mail to file.

we are using the sender mail adapter to receive mails (IDOCS) from a Exchange server
when a sales person gets PO thrugh mail then he sends this Po to Mainframes then we use mail to file.
similarly we can have many situations to useit.

Ask the wireless provider you have the plan with - they should be able to tell what speed
you will get if you cannot connect at 4G/LTE.
Your iPhone will connect at the highest speed it can by default. But not all wireless providers
offer 3G as the fallback connection on their 4G network - some fall back to 2G.

What kind of data users are coping to their USB drives ..?

We need monitor what kind of data users are coping to their USB drives ..? do we have any scripts which can trigger the emails when the Data is copied to USB drives with File Name , size and location from where they are coping.

If you want to prevent users from copying stuff to their USB drives the best way would be to force a group policy that prevents USB devices from working on local machines. There is no easy way of monitoring file transfer activity via script. What you appear
to be looking for is software which monitors your employees.
What you can do is list the USB Devices that have been attached to the system:

Recently I have started working on APEX. In Oracle Forms, we used to use TEXT_IO for inserting records into tables from txt files. Now I want to do the same thing in apex 3.2. How can I insert data into tables from txt of csv files.

wwv_flow_files is used by APEX to hold uploaded files.
If you incorporate a file browse item on you page, browse for the selected file, then submit the page (having the PL/SQL process described as an on suibmit process) then what I detailed should work.
If you don't need users to have access to this then just go to Home>Utilities>Data Load/Unload in APEX and there is a handy load utility there that does it all for you.

I'm using TestStand 4.0 and anytime I try to intialize my chasis this message shows up in my debugg viewer. I would appriciate any feedback. I have no idea what could be triggering this message or why it's worded the way it is.

You've hit what was intended to be an internal development warning, but apparently the warning macro used is not compiled out in the release.
This has likely been there since TestStand 1.0 and is nothing to worry about. In most cases it indicates you've called SetPropertyObject or SetPropertyObjectByOffset to set an object that was already set in the specified location. This is a harmless NOP and the warning only appears in attached debuggers, but it "might" be an indication that you have made a programming error.
I launched and exited the 4.0 sequence editor without seeing this warning, so I don't know if it is being triggered by your code module (or sequence, or custom step type, or custom UI, or custom process model, ...) or another part of TestStand that you are using. Chances are good that this warning does not indicate a functional problem. However, if you can reproduce it with a clean uncustomized TestStand install, I'd like to know how you did it.
I've entered a corrective action request to remove this warning.

I am working on FILE TO FILE. My requirement is same file name from sender to receiver file adapter. Is it possible to do using only Adapter Specific message properties? i mean with out using UDF.

New MBP i5 coming, what kind of improvement to expect from old MBP?

i got a 15" MBP in very late '07, 2.33 ghz core2duo, 2gb memory, 4m l2 cache, was a solid machine when i got it, now passing on to my sons to replace a nearly dead macbook...
i've ordered a 2010 mbp 15" 2.53ghz i5 with the high res antiglare, kept the drive at 5400rpm and not the fancy solid state (too expensive, would rather have the high res screen, and going from 5400 to 7200 on platters didn't seem dramatic enough)
in terms of using massive photo archives in iphoto, dvd creation in idvd, imovie along with all of the usual (lots of mail.app, tons of word/excel from msft), what kind of performance leap do you really think i can expect? will it be as dramatic as that 50-100 percent people imagine? or just "a lot better" - i know that it will look better because of the high res, i'm thinking more about app launch times, online video viewing (many tabs at once etc) and using photo/video intensive apps more...
also running windows 7 in a parallels vm so hoping for even more speed...
all thoughts welcome...

What kind of data structure should I use?

I have a user input dialog basically like following which need user input the sample number to specifiy each file belongs to which sample:
user input the sample number in the following dialog:
file name             sample
test 1                  1
test2                   2
test3                   1
test4                   2In another words, each sample could include multiple files, each file has a column of data. I tried to get
a data structure which specifies the sample and file relationship, to get an idea of what kind of files are in
one sample. I tried to use hashmap or hashtable, but they ask the key must be unique. What I need is to get the sample data structure for the later data processing.

You could make a Sample object, which creates a List of file names. Then put SampleNumber and SampleObject into a Map...

I´ve read many documents about Data Migration Assistant (DMA) and i have some doubts about it. In our company each telephone user handles speed dials, services associated to telephone and own book telephone. i`m completly sure that speed dials are migrated with DMA, but services and books telephone too???
I don´t know if when in cisco documentation says Call Manager data it´s refering to all kind of datas.

As per my understanding, excel has to be imported in Xcelsius to draw up the dashboard. Your aggregated data sits in the xlf file. Using an external excel file will not be possible (I guess).
One of the ways to connect to an external excel, is the use XML Maps but then your data has to be in the form of XML which will be pulled into excel first and then needs to be brought in Xcelsius using Data Manager.
You can explore XML Maps in xcelsius in SDN.

Unzip attachment in Mail adapter or/ File Adapter

Hi everyone,
I need to get flat file from .zip attachment that comes with mail? Is it possible to get it with Mail adapter, unzip it and then make conversion? All steps in the Integration engine?
Another option can be get .zip with File adapter, but again how to unzip it?

How can I get file from multiple instance using file adapter

Hi.
Our system(PI7.1) have three application instances running with each physical servers.
We use sender file adapter.
The file data is sent to one of the servers.
Now, how can I get the file using three file adater?
Should I put the file "sapmnt(\usr\sap)" .
Or are there another solution?

You will have to use sapcar.zip which contains the utility Sapcar.exe utility for unzipping the files from SAP compressed files. (*.car file)

What kind of data types in Web Dynpro can be bound to Interactive Form?

Apparently it is not possible to bind a Web Dynpro Context variable of type boolean to a checkbox in an interactive form. We get the PDF Document Render Exception until the data type is changed to string, then the generation seems to work. Does anyone know what data types in Web Dynpro other than String can be bound to an Interactive Form Document? Is there any information about this in help.sap.com/adobeforums.com/elsewhere? I have researched a bit, but couldn't get a general statement on this topic.

Hi,
You can Bind the Boolean type of webdynpro to the CheckBox in Adobe Interactive Form.
Just define the value Attribute in the Context of type Boolean and bind the Checkbox in Aif with this attribute.
Sample Code:
if (wdContext.currentContextelement.reason == true)
ur validations.....
