What kind of Graphics used in Java

Hi,
I want to ask what kind of graphics are used in Java Games. Actually my question is about objects that are other then our Game Objects....like back ground images, other objects present in interface. Are these build using Java OR images are used for that. I will be grateful to if some one can tell about it separately about back ground , other objects in the game.
Thanks for any help.

Basically in any of the games you have a background image, could be blank or what ever, and you render your objects onto it. From that point it depends on what you are doing in the game as to what happens... it could be a simple screen update or it could be you're running an animation loop and inserting updates with your objects as needed. It just depends.

  • What kinds of graphics do you convert to PDF, and why?

I work on new ideas for Document Services. Many people convert graphics to PDF, and we'd like to know more. What kinds of graphics do you convert to PDF? And why? Are there features we could add to Create PDF that would be useful to you? Please let us know - it'll help us build better products.

To transfer video you will need a IEEE1394 (Firewire) cable.  The Sony name for this is an i.Link and is labeled as DV on the camcorder.  The end of the cable that connects to the camcorder must be a 4-pin connector.  The end that connects to the computer is either a 4-pin connector (usually a laptop) or a 6-pin (a desktop PC).  Of course all of this depends on whether or not your computer has a Firewire port. If you computer does have a firewire port you will need to know whether or not is a Firewire 400 or 800 port.  It's not hard to tell the difference by looking at your computer as the 400 and 800 cables have different connections on the end that you plug into the computer.

Without any system information nobody can advise. What operating system? What system specs? What graphics hardware do you use currently? What input device? What settings in Photoshop? We could tell you to buy the latest and greatest card out there, but that might not at all resolve your issue because it#s caused by something else....

  • What kind of graphics card should i get to run final cut pro x on my 2008 mac pro?

What kind of graphics card should i get to run final cut pro x on my 2008 mac pro?

Hello Andres. I own an Early Mac Pro 2008, and have had the blessing of using both FCP X & Motion 5 for some time now. This is a pritty open question and it depends on your usage and the throughput nessesary to handle your work load. I can share what my set up is, & it may help you deside if this is enough power for you or help you move in another direction. Keep in mind that the buss speed and cpu are a big part of helping FCP X more so than the video card, although the video card does come into play here as well. Now if you are wanting to run Motion 5 as well, the video card is Almost Everything, and you need the biggest and best situation here that the throughput on this system will except. I'm running 14 gig of system ram, and the video card is an ATI Radeon 5870. For FCP X, running 1920x1280p footage optimised in pro-res 422, she can move along with some render time nessesary when dropping on the timeline, also filters, transistions, titles ex, have a bit of a laps time to render, but then she runs ok. This wait is not as much of a challenge with this set up as with Motion. I need a much bigger gpu on the video card for this app. Not sure if this computers throughput is really worth the upgrade. Beleive this though, Motion is demanding on using ALL you can give it. It is a Genious App, and it also calls for ALL THE POWER YOU CAN GIVE HER IN A VIDEO CARD. Conclution: if you are just starting which it sounds like, even a smaller video card than this can work For FCP X. Make sure you have at least 8 gig of cpu ram. 12 or more will help here. Also make sure the card is OpenCL compadible.....& this is in the thread above,,,,,,,,

Actually, Apple does make an iPhone 5s case in leather, but they do not indicate what species the leather is from.

There are number of other companies that make leather iPhone cases though - I've used numerous Sena leather sleeves and cases over the years although I've never inquired what species of leather they use.

  • What kind of graphic card do I need for second screen?

I have a Mac Pro with GTX 680 card that outputs to a 27" Cinema Display and 42" TV. The TV screen is a few frames of, so I understand I need a separate videocard for the TV so I can adjust this with frame offset in FCP.
What kind of card is suitable for this? There is 30m distance from Mac to TV, is this too long for HDMI cable?

I don't know.  My experience with Aja IO card is that's it's more complicated configuring it (at least with fcp7).  I have a friend with a macpro and every time we need to use it, it requires playing around with control panel and the view settings within fcp.  Maybe operator error.  The BlackMagic just usually works although I found with Avid Media Composer 7, if you tried to load material that didn't match the project settings, you could not get the project to every play out through the intensity.  You'd have to create a new project and open your existing bins in the new project.  Took me a while to figure out what was going on.
Aja's support is supposedly much better, but I did get answers via email from blackmagic with the avid issue.  Took a few days, but they did come thru.

  • What kind of protocals used in XI

    Hi,
What kind of protocals are used in XI generally.

    Hi,
Usually that depends on adapter which you are using
    refer this,
    Adapters
    Purpose
Adapters enable the PCK to communicate with different systems.
    Features
Adapters are used to connect the PCK both to SAP Exchange Infrastructure and to other systems.
The PCK provides a variety of adapters for this purpose. You can use these adapters to convert XML and HTTP-based messages to the specific protocols and formats of these systems and the other way around.
The PCK provides adapters, which you can use to do the following, depending on how they are configured:
Communicate with SAP systems using the RFC interface (RFC adapter)
Enable data exchange with the SAP Business Connector (SAP Business Connector adapter)
Exchange data with systems by using a file interface or an FTP server (file/FTP adapter )
Access databases using JDBC (JDBC adapter)
Communicate with messaging systems using the JMS API (JMS adapter)
Integrate remote clients or Web service providers using the SOAP adapter (SOAP adapter )
Connect e-mail servers to the PCK (mail adapter)
Exchange data with SAP Exchange Infrastructure (XI adapter)
In the adapter configuration, you specify whether an adapter is located at the inbound channel (sender adapter) or at the outbound channel (receiver adapter) of the PCK.
    Adapter Types and Attributes
Adapter Type Transport Protocol      Message Protocol          Quality of Service

  • What is your most-used Sun Java Creator feature/widget/key sequence

As I am learning about the IDE and using it to develop apps, I wonder about the most commonly used features that I have yet to learn about. Especially the key sequences that could save me time.
What features do you find yourself using the most? What features do you rely on as productivity enhancers?

    Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Sun Java Studio Creator.
Apparently the Studio Creator offers drag-and-drop, RAD approach to J2EE development. Java Studio Creator blends together technologies such as JSF, JDBC Rowsets, and the Web Services APIs to give J2EE developers a brisk-start when it comes to building web applications. The developers without being tied to proprietary technologies, developers can work with and within Creator or easily take their code with them to a number of development platforms.
Requirement of more sophisticated technologies to meet user demands, enterprise developers can incorporate EJB's.
Please have a walkthrough of the IDE features in the following links.

  • What kind of graphics cards can I get?

    I have a Compaq Presario CQ50 107NR
My graphics card is GeForce 8200M G
I need a  better graphics card but I do not know what is compatible with the laptop. Can someone give me a list of upgraded graphics cards I can get? I am wanting to play Diablo 3 but my card is too weak.

    Hi:
The video adapters are not upgradable without replacing the entire motherboard. The only motherboard I see with better graphics has the GeForce 9200M, which I doubt will be much better.
You would be better off selling or trading your notebook in and buying one with the graphics solution you are looking for.

  • Help!! What kind of graphics card can I upgrad my G5 1.8ghz dual?

Can anyone help me to find a graphics card for my G5 Tower 1.8Ghz dual core in order to install final cut studio2 and be able to use all of the software? My cpu came with NVDia GeForceFX 5200 (not Ultra).
Which Graphics card can I use or should I use to run the whole final cut studio2 (especially Motion 3 and Color)? Please help.

    Hi-
So, you have a Dual 1.8 PPC G5, correct? 8x AGP graphics(?).
The two choices that you have, are, the ATI Radeon X800XT, or the Geforce 6800 Ultra.
Here are some benchmarks for comparison sake. Note that the 9800 is a possibility, but the X800 is better for FCP.
This benchmark shows how pitiful the 5200 really is.
One other option, is a flashed Geforce 7800 GS. These benchmarks show the possibilities.

  • What technology trendmicro are using of java?

On trend-micro website they have a small java applet which work as an online anti viral scanner, that means it some how communicate low level api's of windows. Can any body give me idea how this thing is possible since i have read in many articles that applet cannot communicate with windows api nor it could send any driver's ioctls?? is this is swing or any other technology'???
    Please guide me thanks

As it is a signed applet it could be doing anything, including running native code. But I would guess all that is needed to to iterate over every file on your system and check it against a number of known patterns, but the only people who would know would be trendmicro.I think the OP needs to read up on the differences between signed and unsigned applets
