What kind of monifications or configurations will be effected  R3 upgraded

Hi experts,
Now we are upgrading our R/3 system to ECC6.0EHP4, there is one common questions which confused me log time.
What kind of system monifications or changes will be effected during the ERP( or R/3) upgrade
Since normally we know that the monificatioin of SAP Standarded Program (which not make the enhanced changes) will be over writed, but recently we found that the changes in TC BS22 also has been over writed which can not been seen in the  modification adjustments (SPDD or SPAU).
So I was really want to know, what kinds of system changes ( kinds of programe changes or kinds of system configuration changes) will be overwrited or effected during the SAP R/3 system upgrade???
We need to clearify this so during the testing we can have an specific aim to handle these.
Thanks and waiting for all your suggestions
Regards
Ethern

The table belonging to BS22 is a SAP owned table and can hence be certainly overwritten/changed during an upgrade. Quite a few support packages add entries to those tables (if you just search for notes with BS22).
You're right, this is pretty confusing. From an upgrade perspective it's a change of the standard but for the SAP system it's just a customizing entry which needs to be even transported manually. I think this is a relict of ancient R/3 versions. The reason why it's behaving like this can only be answered by the support (who will tell you simply not to change that table).
I'd suggest adding a special procedure in your upgrade project to check those entries separately and if you're really interested open an OSS call.

  • If Active Directory will be effected when upgrade to Windows Server2008

Client will upgrading its existing AD to Windows Server 2008 version. Will like to know what will be the impact to our ALUI portal.
We have used AquaLogic Interaction Identity Service - Active Directory to create remote authentication and profile sources. And the users are currently being synchronized between the client's existing AD and ALUI database on the daily basis.
If the client upgrades the AD version, what will happend to the existing "AD users" in ALUI database. The upgrading may involves installation a new AD 2008
The existing client AD is installed in a separate machine from ALUI portal.
    Thanks,

  • What kind of configuring does Apple do when buying an iPad?

I've noticed that when you buy an iPad-mini Retina wi-fi + cellular at store.apple.com, and you select the options that you want, that the following statement appears when you select the carrier:
"Your iPad will be configured to operate with the carrier you choose right out of the box."
What kind of configuring is going on here? Does Apple simply use the iPad itself to fill in the Cellular Data settings for the chosen carrier and perhaps edit the APN appropriately? Or is there more to it than that? If so, what?
As part of this step does Apple insert the appropriate nano-sim card into the iPad tray before it is shipped to the buyer?
    Thanks,
    Eric

    Hi Eric,
I bought an iPad Air 64 GB Verizon Cellular. When I received it I set it up then called verizon. The iPad was ready to connect to Verizon and I could add it to my plan. The cellular setup took about 5 minutes, most of that was a reboot while it propagated itself onto the verizon network. The sim was already installed and the iPad was easy to configure.
That beats the heck out of driving 6o miles, in my case, to a verizon store, getting a sim, setting up the iPad and driving home another 60 miles.

  • I saw that I can order an iPhone and they will connect it to my Verizon but I have no idea what kind of package to get

I have 2 lines that the contracts are expired.  I see that I can set an appointment, have them set up the iPhone of choice to my Verizon account and it even says that they will give me any product upgrade benefits.  I find this hard to beleive.  For one of the lines i have a product upgrade of $50 (Verizon calls it New Every Two which they did away with but still offer it to people who had it and did not use it yet).  On my other line there is a $35 product upgrade.  I can't beleive that Apple would give these product upgrade rewards( the $50 for the one line and the $35 for the 2nd line)
does anybody know how to tell if someone is with a carrier like Verizon, how to figure out what kind of iPhone package I should get so Verizon can't get me for going over my ;allotted minutes, text messages, internet usage, etc.  I have never used a smartphone so I have no idea how to tell what kind of package I need for the iPhone.  anybody else know?  I saw that Sprint has a package that is "unlimited with all 4 services like text messages, internet usage, calls, etc for $99/mo.  is this still the case?  Verizon does everything they can to rip you off and charge you for going over.  I have not been able to figure out how I can tell when I am getting close to going over.  is there an app to tell this?
Any suggestions about getting this servic where apple sets it all up, teaches you how to use the phone, gives a decent warranty and offers applecare.  any other carier that would be better?  I heard that the unlimited data transfers does not mean "unlimited" but they still put an amount on the unlinites and if you go over you get docked.  I hate Verizon.

I should say before everybody else does I never learned how to type and barely learned how to write and spell so I probably should have done this some other way.  Sorry.

  • I have Direct TV with wireless, but a weak wifi signal downstairs. Can I get a Airport (what, kind) that will improve my signal for my Apple TV

I have Direct TV with wireless, but a weak wifi signal downstairs. Can I get a Airport (what, kind) that will improve my signal so that my Apple TV will work?

If you have an AirPort Extreme now, an AirPort Express could be added to your network to extend the range of the network.
See the info about Extend an Existing Wireless Network.........http://www.apple.com/airport-express/
Install the AirPort Express approximately half way between the AirPort Extreme and the point where the Apple TV will be located. The more that you can eliminate obstructions like walls, a ceiling or heavy furniture in the signal path between the AirPort Extreme, AirPort Express and Apple TV, the better the network will perform.

  • What kind of camcorders will work with iMovie?

I'm confused about what kind of camcorders can be used to import footage onto iMovie. Does the camcorder have to be digital? Can it have one of those little tapes?
Also, if I don't have iDVD can I record the edited video right onto the camcorder tape from iMovie? I've never used this stuff before, any comments are appreciated.
    Thanks.
    iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.3.9)

    Hi stiles:
First, I suggest strongly that you view this:
    http://www.apple.com/support/imovie/tutorial/
IDVD and iMovie are two different software programs that come as a part of the iLife bundle. You do not need iDVD to run iMovie nor the other way around. So, you can export your edited video directly to your camera from imovie (and it's up to you if you want to burn a dvd in iDVD after that).
You will need a Digital Video Camcorder like this

  • I want to create a 5" x 7" multiple page booklet in Pages  what kind of template do I use to make sure the information is on the right page and will print on the proper sheets?

I want to create a 5" x 7" multiple page booklet in Pages.  What kind of template do I use so the text prints in order on the pages and on the right sheets?  HELP!!!!

While there are templates available for several n page booklets, using them requires a separate template for each size (in pages) booklet you'll want to make.
A better method is to use some form of imposition software for mac that will do the imposing (placing each page on the correct sheet) using a copy of your content, printed to a PDF document. The link is to a Google search using that phrase as the search term.
For a more detailed discussion of imposition and some of the available software, see Peter Breis's post "imposing booklets" at the iWork Tips & Tricks site. (Scroll down)

I have an 8 year old G5 / OS X 10.4.11, what kind of problems will I have now switching from Mobileme to iCloud?

You can migrate to iCloud, but the only thing you will be able to do is access email, and you will have toi set Mail up manually to do this:
Entering iCloud email settings manually in Tiger
This is worth doing to maintain your email address, but you won't be able to sync calendars, contacts or bookmarks. Your calendars and contacts will be removed from MobileMe (though not from your Mac) and won't appear on the iCloud website.

  • BBPCO what kind of information will post to R/3

    Hi all,
I doc BBPCO - for commitment posting , this i doc what kind of information send it to R/3
    Thanks and regards
    Harish

    Hello Harish,
The BBPCO is useful for standalone scenario where no PO is created in the backend thus no commitment without this message type. In other scenarios, we don't need BBPCO.
PO will be created by BAPI & commitments will be posted similar to a manual PO in backend.
    See more details on thread

    Hope this helps.

  • Laptop HP DV6-2088dx - what kind of dock station will work with it?

what kind of dock station will work with it?

    Hi John,
    Please find answer below
1 -- What are the specs of a laptop that can handle CS 6?
It depends on the application you will use and install. Video apps like Premiere pro, After effects have higher requirement as compare to InDesign, Illustrator etc. Please review the tech specs for each application. This link will help with the details :System requirements | Adobe Creative Suite 6
2 -- Can I sign up for Creative Cloud services for, say, a couple months and then suspend the service when I'm back to using my desktop? What's the pricing for that?
Yes, you can, You can find the pricing details creative.adobe.com/plans
3 -- Can I use Creative Cloud when I don't have access to Internet because internet service is sporadic or non-existent in northwoods?
No, you can't. You need internet atleast once to activate the software.
4 -- Can I easily transfer projects from CS 6 laptop to CS 5.5 on desktop?
It depends on file format. File format like JPEG, PSD, TIFF etc are universal and shall work perfectly fine between CS6 and CS5.5 however format like INDD will be a concern as InDesign file saved in newer version could not be opened in older version directly.
5 --  Alternatively, can I simply install my existing CS 5.5 in a new laptop?
    Yes, you can.
    Hope this helps

  • What kind of SSD should I use and will it benefit my laptop?

My Macbook Pro (either early or late 2008, not sure) is in dire need of an upgrade. I'm thinking about upgrading it to a 128 GB SSD-drive and was wondering if anybody has experience with the performance-gains (especially in Adobe Photoshop) and what kind of drives anyone would recommended? It's quite difficult to find recent info on this online so any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers,
    Michiel

Ah, this opens up new perspectives. Could you shed some light on the RAM-subject? How can I find out what model I have and what kind of RAM I need? I mean, logic dictates I need the same RAM I have now, but I'm sure there has been some development on those voodoo-sticks that should make them faster etc.
Also, any info on the SSD-thing is still greatly appreciated. Upgrading RAM ánd HD is ofcourse better then just switching to an SSD..
