Some times, the role value is CoherenceConsole and some time the role value is CoherenceServer ( Role=CoherenceServe).
What are the difference between them? See the following output:

The role for a coherence node is normally determined by the application. The tangosol.coherence.role system property is used to configure this value. Some out-of-the-box Coherence applications. CacheFactory (com.tangosol.net.CacheFactory) sets this value to CoherenceConsole. DefaultCacheServer sets this value to CoherenceServer. MBeanConnector sets the value to TangosolNetMBeanConnector. More information on these classes can be found at:

how do I find out what kind of fire wire port I have on my desktop? I want to transfer video from my camcorder.
If you have Firewire 800 it's a boxy looking port, the Firewire 400 is thinner and has a arrow looking shape, you can get a adpater.
FW800 is simply FW 400 x 2, so the adapter gives you FW 400. -

Does oracle a have tool like primavera or MS Project
Does oracle a have tool like primavera or MS Project
If you are looking for project scheduling the Project Program Management application from the PeopleSoft Enterprise product line can help you to schedule and track your project.
There are also built-in project scheduling capability in the EnterpriseOne ETO product.
The project scheduling capability in embedded in the enterprise apps. As far as I know, I have not seen a standalone, desktop based project scheduling tool from Oracle.
If you are looking for a solution to help you to track and manage projects, Oracle Project Management from the eBusiness suite provides the enterprise project management solution. You can use Oracle Project suite to manage your project throughout the lifecycle from financial, accounting, operation, and execution perspectives.

What kind of a G3 do I have?
Sorry if I'm overlooking the obvious, but I can't figure out what kind of Mac this is.
I've recently come into possession of a PowerBook G3. It has two 64MB RAM chips, PowerPC G3 400MHz processor, and a 6GB HD. It boots up System 9.1 (I haven't seen a pre-OS X operating system in a looooong time). It does not have firewire. There's an Apple copyright sticker on the bottom that says 1999.
What do I have and what is it good for?You have the PB G3 Lombard model http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powerbookg3/stats/powerbook_g3400.html It's capable of running Panther 10.3
With a HD of only 6GB, there's not much you can do with it.

What kind of configuring does Apple do when buying an iPad?
I've noticed that when you buy an iPad-mini Retina wi-fi + cellular at store.apple.com, and you select the options that you want, that the following statement appears when you select the carrier:
"Your iPad will be configured to operate with the carrier you choose right out of the box."
What kind of configuring is going on here? Does Apple simply use the iPad itself to fill in the Cellular Data settings for the chosen carrier and perhaps edit the APN appropriately? Or is there more to it than that? If so, what?
As part of this step does Apple insert the appropriate nano-sim card into the iPad tray before it is shipped to the buyer?
Thanks,
EricHi Eric,
I bought an iPad Air 64 GB Verizon Cellular. When I received it I set it up then called verizon. The iPad was ready to connect to Verizon and I could add it to my plan. The cellular setup took about 5 minutes, most of that was a reboot while it propagated itself onto the verizon network. The sim was already installed and the iPad was easy to configure.
That beats the heck out of driving 6o miles, in my case, to a verizon store, getting a sim, setting up the iPad and driving home another 60 miles. -
What "kind" of Mac Pro do I have
Would anyone mind helping me understand what "kind" of MacPro (early, late or whatever) I have and how all of this may or may not affect how memory is recognized by WinXP through Leopard?
Is there an issue here in terms of the difference and if so, what is it exactly?
Also, will these issues be the same in terms of Windows 7 when it comes out?
Lastly, I was looking at buying a MacBook mostly because I want a small profile computer for office related tasks while on the go, even though I should be buying something that will accommodate more ram if I wanted to run my professional software on it.
Are the same kind of issues involved in what kind of MacBook or MacBookPro I buy?
Much thanks,
Jonathan
P.S. If I can get this information without the kind of low-grade insult and hostility that the guy with five boxes gave me on my earlier posts on this, that would be super.Open the System Profiler in your Utilities folder. The machine information will include information such as the following:
Model Name: Mac Pro
Model Identifier: MacPro1,1
Processor Name: Dual-Core Intel Xeon
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz
Number Of Processors: 2
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (per processor): 4 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.33 GHz
The information after Model Identifier will tell you which generation and the model within the generation. 1,1 means first generation, first model; 2,1 would mean second generation, first model. The Early 2009 (newest) model should be 4,1. There have been thus far four generations: Mid 2006, Mid 2007, Early 2008, and Early 2009.
All Intel Macs are similarly identified.
The currently made MacBooks can accommodate at least 6 GBs of RAM, although the Unibody MacBook Pro is supposed to accommodate 8 GBs. However, I don't know that anyone has reported they have successfully installed 8 GBs.
If your work requires FireWire ports then you will need the White MacBook or a MacBook Pro. Unibody MacBooks do not have a FireWire port.
Oh, and I'm the guy you insulted not the other way around. You simply have a problem listening.

How can I check what kind of values does transport request saves?
Dear All,
I have changed the max.foregin exchange rate from 1% to 0% in company code global data and added a new error message 212 in work area F5. Then I transport it to QA system and PRD system.
However in T001 table change log PRD, the address was said to be changed from a number to another number also. But I don't remember that I changed the address of a company code. And I was not able to find the value before and after the change. Do you know where I can find the address of the company code? I have tried to get address in company code global data but in the poped dialog neither of the values are found. It is strange that the addresses of other company codes in T001 are not changed.
And in the transport request, the new number was not included. I don't very understand what kind of information was included but I know I did not change other config of the company codes.
I have 2 questions
1. Where I can find the address of a company code?
2. How to see what information has been included in the transport request?
Thank you in advance.
EmmaHi Emma,
How to see what information has been included in the transport request?
Go to transaction code SE10 and identify your transport request then double click the left side you will be get tree.
if you want you can doubleclick the tree again so that you can identify which configuration step you saved.
Hope it is useful.
Thanks,

What kind of compression does Acrobat do when files are combined?
I'm working with some raster print media (specifically PNGs) that I've combined and saved into PDFs for easier printing. The original files are 300dpi scans, lossless compression.
This is the process I follow:
select files to combine in Windows Explorer
right click > Combine supported files in Acrobat
File size: Default
wait for the new binder to open in Acrobat
Save As > Save as type > Adobe PDF Files (*.pdf)
So it looks like there are two steps where possible compression occurs, 2 (combine) and 5 (save).
2: The "Default" file size button tooltip says all files are kept at their original quality.
5: No information is given on screen as to what kind of compression is done.
The second file type in step 5, Adobe PDF Files, Optimized (*.pdf), gives the option for "Standard" optimization, which compresses images to JPEG and downsizes them to 150dpi. Is this the setting for the first file type as well?An ordinary save or save as does no additional compression.
