What LDAP schema should I use with JMQ 2.0?

I've just downloaded the JMS 2.0 beta for Solaris and trying to set up a admin objects store with LDAP server (NES 4.12). However I cannot find a LDAP schema file to import into the LDAP server in your release. Would it be possible to send me a copy?

As far as I know, you don't need to import any LDAP schema into
Netscape Directory Server 4.12 (I assume this is what you
are using) to store the administered objects.
Are you seeing "schema violation" errors when you use jmqobjmgr ?
If that is the case, what lookup name are you using ? Does
your lookup name have the form:
"cn=myLookupName"
In most cases (it can be overriden), LDAP servers require lookup names
to have the above format.

I try to use LDAP for user profile management. I am free to use any LDAP

This is what I did for my DS settings
    1. select Oracle JDBC Driver
    2. set Classes12.jar in Websphre classpath - (Oracle thin driver)
    3. create DS with option User defined JDBC provider
means I have added Thin driver provided by Oracle , instead of deprecated Thin driver from IBM.

If you see that poop-up while visiting websites then that is most likely a simulation that is downloaded from internet and not showing a scan done on your computer.<br />
The intend of such a pop-up is to get you to buy their software and you should never respond to such an alert or you will be infected by malware.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.<br />
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.<br />

  • What RAD tool should i use with JSP??

I would like to know what RAD (opensource) to use to work with JSP and MySQL.
    If anyone could help
    thank you

If you are using the Sun Java System Enterprise Studio, the Web Application Framework will provide you with all the tools you need to create a JSP/Servlet based web application that scales in performance like no other framework. Coupled with a WYSIWYG HTML editor like Dreamweaver and your RAD app dev is covered.
For MySQL, there are some really nice GuI clients out there. This is a link to the one I have used:
    http://www.mysql.com/products/
If you are using the Sun Java Studio, don't forget to add the MySQL jdbc driver so that you can access your DB at development time and use the Sql Model wizards from within the Web Application Framework tools.
If your app is not concerned with serious scalability, and you are looking to build your app using the latest standards (JSF - Java Server Faces), you can download the Sun Java Studio Creator. It's more of a VB.NET/ASP like development environment with a WYSIWYG HTML form painter. Very slick. You can download here:
    http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/index.jsp
    Here's a primer for Creator:
    http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/reference/techart/primer.html
    The Creator forum is here:
    http://swforum.sun.com/jive/forum.jspa?forumID=123
To recap, use Web Application Framework if you require the utmost in a mature, stable, and scalable web application. WAF apps can be deployed to any J2EE server.
If you require a webapp based on the latest standard JSF implementation, and dev productivity is more important than enterprise strength scalability, then Creator is a great choice.

  • What sized buds should I use with the Creative EP-630 Earphon

    HI,
I'm new here and I am a happy owner of a creative zen xtra (had it for nearly 2 years) along with a pair of creative ep-630 earphones (which I've owned for a couple of months). My question is regarding the different sized earbuds for the EP-630 earphones. From the beginning, I used the smallest buds as it felt like the best fit and the sound seemed quite good too, except for one drawback which became very apparent during quite listening sessions, the treble seemed overly harsh and loud, and in many instances painfully so even when the volume was turned down to minimum (yes, at level ). I discovered that using the EAX environment settings I was able to to turn the sound even lower (the "living room" setting resulting in the lowest volume, which I usually turn on when listening at night) to compensate. I'm pretty sure that this isn't normal, anybody else here encountered this treble overload problem? Anyway, I managed to find the larger sized buds yesterday which I forgot about as I thought I would have no need for them. I tried the medium-sized buds which seemed to solve the problem quite a bit, but the fit doesn't seem anywhere near as snug as before, and it takes some effort to jam it down my ear canals. Are these earphones simply not for me? I think this design has great potential, should I take a step up and try the EP-635 (http://tinyurl.co.uk/zvsv) or even these (http://tinyurl.co.uk/tbph)? Anybody here have any experience with the sennheiser cx300s?
If worst come to worst, I'm prepared to fork out for one of the Shure models, but I'd rather not spend so much if possible. Are there any other recomendations?
CheersMessage Edited by Ankmin on 07-09-2006 04:4 PM

Just leave it in place and merely deactivate it using Help --> Deactivate. AAM will recognize it and it will be tied to the CCM. You can re-actzivate it using the inverse procedure after CCM has run out. Whether or not there will be any significant updates that would equal a paid point version upgrade and may prevent reactivation nobody can tell you. At worst you then would have to reinstall your original CS6.

  • What brush preset should be used with the quick selection tool

    I'm using Photoshop CS5 on a MacBook Air running OS X 10.8.2
I have managed to change the brush in my quick selection tool, or at least the way it looks on the screen, and I can't figure out how to get it back.
It now looks like a paint brush with light rays around it instead of the circle with the plus sign in the middle. It does not change size when the ] key is hit.
The current preset says its Quick Selection Tool Hard Round 250 1
In addition when I use the marquee tool I can not see the crosshairs when I am inside the image.
I know I messed it up :} but I don't know how and I've searched the forum and the web and I can't find a hit telling me how to set it back.
The only thing I have knowingly done is to create a preset for a dashed line and imagine in doing that I have messed up the other. I have also changed the preferences for the cursor back and forth between standard and precise but it doesn't seem to make any difference.
    Thanks
    Sue

You could try resetting the Tools individually or trashing prefs by keeping command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift pressed while starting Photoshop after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed.

  • What sequence settings should I use with multiple formats?

I'm starting a new project in CS6 that's using multiple types of video.  I've got old camcorder video from 20 years ago...as well as digital video...and current HD video.  I want all the video in the sequence to output as full screen.  So do I need to use the 720 x 480 settings to accommodate the old camcorder video?  Or will that mess up my new HD stuff?  Thanks.

First you need to force Premiere to interpret the camcorder files as widescreen. So highlight all the camcorder files from the project panel, right-click and select Modify -> Interpret Footage. Then change the pixel aspect ratio to "D1/DV NTSC Widescreen 16:9 (1.2121)".
Next you need to upscale the camcorder files to the HD project window size. So after you drop them on to your timeline... highlight one or more of them, right-click and select "Scale to Frame Size".
Finally you may want to fine tune it to remove edge artifacts or borders. There's a few ways to do this but the quickest would be to just slightly increase the Scale settings in the effects control panel. Once you have a good look, you can just copy and paste the scale settings to all the other clips on the timeline.
Alternatively, you can use Red Giant Instant HD to do the up-scaling as I'm sure it do a much better job.

  • Which partition scheme should i use?

Hello guys (and maybe ladies), i am new to Linux and i have decided to set sail on an epic quest: Setting up a Linux desktop with Arch.
I have installed Arch few times on the main victim machine and on another laptop too, so i'm pretty much confident with most of the commands i run (through the forum captcha got me puzzled for a while, lol).
So, into the topic, i would like to gather suggestions on what partition scheme should i use, i have an 120GB Intel X25-M SSD i intend to install Arch on, RAM amount is 6 gigs.
From the wiki and forum reading i done so far, i came up with the following SSD torture plan:
    /dev/sdb1 -- root -- 25GB
    /dev/sdb2 -- /var -- 15GB
    /dev/sdb3 -- /home -- rest of the space, somewhere around 80GB
    All are btrfs.
I intend to install swap later on a rotating storage, or not.
    Arch wiki @ Btrfs :
"Do not use this filesystem yet unless you know what you are doing and are prepared for potential data loss."
I may not know what i'm doing, but as long as using a misconfigured system wont render my SSD a piece of salvageable material, i'm ready to test experimental/unstable/new features (except systemd) for the pursuit of performance, the precious bits of data are backed up and i'm ready to hold the wrench
Sorry for the long reading, any suggestions on the partition scheme? should i not use btrfs after all?
Bizzare, awkward or just special suggestions will be appreciated too, thanks in advance.
    And here's a third smile

I want to add my (different) setup here, too, to help you decide. My setup is:
    / 15G
    /boot 100M
    /var 10G
    /home rest(91G)
I also have two systems with seperate /usr, as I like it that way now, but that's a little advanced (though not hard, so if you want to learn, try it). Also, if you want to encrypt your system, make boot seperate as suggested by silentsnake.
But my most important suggestion if you like to experiment: use LVM. Allocate only limited space to your partitions. I suggest: 10G each, except 100M boot, if you keep /usr seperate, use 3G for root. LVM is really cool and very easy and highly flexible. And it gives you the possibility to add, remove and shift sizes around as you please - I love it! Just leave the free space you have hanging in the volume group and add it where it is needed. If you are feeling lucky or highly flexible, make /boot an LVM partition, but I don't recommend it: I do not see any benefit, only some possible issues.
As for swap: 6G is enough RAM - if you need swap later (e.g. hibernation) use a swap file (I don't, but I hear it's possible).
On your file systems: If you are into experimenting, you can choose whatever you like, but I doubt you will be unhappy in any way if you just choose ext3 (though Reiser seems like a nice idea for var).

  • What version of Flash Player should I use with my Power PC based Mac?

I did the following (see below from a Recent Forum) - and even got a sucessful INSTALLED, but when I go to YouTube....I can not get anything and I am asked to update FLASH.....thoughts?
What version of Flash Player should I use with my Power PC based Mac?
Please follow these instructions for installing the most recent version of Flash Player that supports PowerPC based Macs
    1. Follow the instructions for uninstalling Flash Player on the Mac: Uninstall Flash Player
    2. Download and extract the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 zip file
    3. Navigate into the folder "/Flash Player 10.1.102.64/10_1r102_64/"
    4. Mount the file "flashplayer10_1r102_64_ub_mac.dmg" by double clicking
    5. Install using the normal procedure

I was finally able to successfully installed FP on my Mac OS 10.5.8 using the last trick shown below by Chris (Adobe Flash Player.pkg file). This, only after several (at least 10) attempts, and only after restarting my computer after downloading the install file. Thanks for the helpful post.

  • What XA JDBC driver should I use with Oracle 8i 8.1.6

I need to use an XA JDBC driver for Oracle 8i 8.1.6. I am using the driver in
a ConnectionPool in a TxDataSource for use by some entity beans using EJB 2.0.
I'm running WebLogic Server 6.0 sp2, EJB 2.0, Java 2 SDK 1.3.1 Server VM, Solaris
    2.7, and Oracle 8i 8.1.6.
I know of three different Oracle XA drivers: WebLogic jDriver for Oracle XA, Oracle
OCI type 2 driver XA, and Oracle Thin tyoe 2 XA. Are there any other drivers
that I can use for Oracle 8.1.6? Which driver and which version should I use?
For example, can I use the Oracle 8.1.7 JDBC drivers with the Oracle 8.1.6 server,
or would the Oracle 9i drivers work with the Oracle 8i server? Which drivers
are faster, and which support more features? I assume that I should not use the
type 4 driver since I am not using an applet, but I don't know if there are bugs
in the OCI C library for Solaris or in the JDBC drivers that use it that prevent
XA from woking. Which version of the Oracle C OCI library should I use if I use
    a type 2 driver?
    Thanks,
    Ross Goldberg

    Hi,
I think you can't use the 8.1.6 thin driver for XA, you would have to
use the OCI driver or 2PC-enable your datasource. AFAIK this has been
    changed for 8.1.7
    Check http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs61/////jta/thirdpartytx.html.

I've asked this question before. This is the reply from Joe
    Weinstein:
For reliability and JDBC 2.0 compliance, I recommend the
    Oracle thin driver.
If not that driver, you should verify that a type-2 driver
    actually does
deliver better performance, but then I would not have a
    strong preference
between their type-2 and ours. Theirs may be faster, and JDBC
    2.0 compliant.
Both are succeptible to OCI bugs, some of which only they can
    fix, but we
    listen.

Not quite. Downloading the current version of NeoOffice is definitely not free (downloading the previous version is). The developers of NeoOffice (the most Mac-like of the StarOffice descendants) make a distinction between the application itself (which is free) and downloading it, for which they require what they are pleased to call a "donation" (since it's mandatory, I would call it a fee).

Would that include the report on the state of the US economy -- you know, the one President Obama asked you to deliver to the White House no later than 7AM on January 4? The one in two columns, with numbered paragraphs, table of contents, footnotes, mathematical formulae, 40 figures, 60 charts, quotations in Arabic, Japanese, and classical Greek, and 15 pages of references in APA style?
Grant Bennet-Alder is right -- "the real answer depends on what work you expect to do with it, and with whom you expect to do this work". There are dozens of word processors for Mac, from the venerable Word to the no less venerable Tex-Edit+. It would pointless to start listing them all, when many of them might be either too little or too much for your needs.

what type of repeater should I use with my new Airport Extreme? Thanks.

If you want to repeat both bands of your dual band AirPort Extreme, another AirPort Extreme would meet these requirements.
If you only need to extend one of the bands that the AriPort Extreme provides, then an Airport Express would do that nicely.

What lightning cable should be used for the iPhone 4? All the cables I have looked at do not say for iPhone 4, but for iPhone 5, etc.

Well that's really interesting, since my iPhone 4 has a lightning connector on the bottom & the charging cable sent with it is USB on one end & lightning connector on the other. BTW, I tried a USB to lightning cable my brother has been using with his iPhone 5 & it charged my iPhone 4 just fine.
