What level of access a DBA should have on production Environment
We are in the process of auditing
I want to know what level of acccess a DBA has on a production server..How about the Backups ONLINE/EXport backup? Which account should be used for those purposes...
Can i DBA login as SYSTEM or SYS user? or he should have separate account to do all the activities..
I am more on protecting the data from unauthorized user..Any standards followed for that

Today, there are ways to seregate the audit trails, giving the DBA what they need to do their job, while not giving them the keys to the kingdom.

I am trying to share selected photos from my Mac to my I Pad.I went into I-Tunes and followed the instructions and am fine until it says to hit apply....which I do and nothing happens. I can't seem to highlight the I Pad "device" logo on the (left side of the I-Tunes) list to be able to share the photos. (I still want to keep them in my Mac, also). At the bottom of the instructions to accomplish this it says Universal Access...should I click on that? And what is it? Should I be selecting synch thru wi-fi?
Eject the iPad if necessary, quit iTunes and restart your Mac.
Connect the iPad to your Mac with the cable and launch iTunes. Now see if you can click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes. If you can, go into the photos tab of iTunes in the window on the right and make sure that the Sync Photos heading is checked. Then select the folder form which you want to sync photos - maybe iPhoto on your Mac? Then select all of the albums, events, faces - however you have them set up - then click on Apply. See if that works.
The photos will still be on your Mac after you sync. Do not click on Universal Access - you don't need that to sync.

What level of Access do BOE admin's need?
Hi,
I'm about to install Business Objects Enterprise 3.1 on a new server (vmware). I'm going to then link that up with a VWware database server which contains the oracle database, migrate over the basic universe, reports, instance, users, folders etc.
Moving forward I will be running and validating xcelsius dashboards one by one and migrating them over to the server.
In applying for Administrative access to the server, I need to justify the business need to have that level of access (admin). Otherwise I will just get an install account. Other than stopping and restarting the SIA in the CCM, are there any other reasons that justify my having an Administrator account to the server that BOE sits on to perform the day to day functions of a boe admin?

Just with Bo administrator account you should do alo activities about BO maintanance.

Why did my charger from Verizon already go bad..bought another one and it went bad..now the phone will not charge..what a disappointment and a hassle..should have stuck with Apple..only had the phone 2 months. Hope they will exchange it!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is either a Phone issue or an Electrical issue in your home.! when charging Do you always use the same electrical outlet? or did you try others..
You will know or should know if there are any issues with your other Electronics.. that you Plug into it..
If it is the s5 which it sounds like it could be then the Local Verizon store at there Discretion will determined if replacement is needed you have a 1 year Manufactures Warranty that covers for things like what your Describing I would take it too your local store see if they'll get you a Replacement or you may have to go through Samsung..
But I would Try another OUTLET just to see if your phone charges with it.. And Good Luck b33 -

When you purchase an HD movie or show, in most cases the SD copy can be downloaded from your purchases area in iTunes. On the main iTunes Store page, go to Purchases under the Quick Links and then select Movies or TV shows as appropraite. Click the "Not On This Computer" button. Uncheck the "Download HD when available" box and you should then see the SD copies of the movies/shows and be able to download them.
Note that with digital copies from a Blu-Ray or DVD, if it comes with an HD copy, you normally cannot get the SD copy as well and have to purchase it separately if you want it.

If several albums have the same song and I delete the duplicates what happen then. Does it remove the song from the albums and just keep 1 song in 1 of the albums?
Thx got my answer not possible, it will delete th esong from the other albumsIndeed, a song can only appear in one album.
To check your library for duplicates use Shift > View > Show Exact Duplicates as this is normally a more useful selection. Keep holding down shift until you have clicked on the text Show Exact Duplicates or it may still use the loser definition.
If you find that you have true duplicates you need to manually select all but one of each group to remove, or use my DeDuper script if you don't want to do it by hand. The script attempts to take account of different types of duplicates which need to be handled differently, merges playcounts and preserves playlist membership. Please take note of the warning to backup your library before deduping. See this thread for background.

I can't save a document to mulitple locations in Pages? Is there a workaround? What genius Apple software developer came up with this?
Select Duplicate from the File menu then with the duplicate active select Save. You can then change the location as well as the file name just as you would using Save As. It's one extra step.
Since Versions saves every document change there isn't much need for Save As because you can always recover a prior version. -

You would have to be more specific. You though you were getting only one phone and you somehow have MORE than one phone???? If you only have one phone, you are not on a Family plan. You may be on the More Everything plan, but you can only have one phone and still be on the More Everything plan. You do not have to have multiple phones to be on the More Everything plan. It all depends on how you want to use the phone.
Yes, Verizon has single line plans, but they do not have all of the same features as the More Everything plan. Single line plans are not the best solution for all customers who only want one phone. -
I just purchased Adobe Acrobat Standard DC andf upgraded from Acrobat XI. When I instalkled it on my PC the print Production Tools were there and functional. I installed it on my Laptop and those tolls are not there. What do I need to do to have Print Production Tools on both computers?

At the top of the box it should say Adobe Acrobat Pro DC or Adobe Acrobat Standard DC.
On each of the two machines, what does it say? (I think something odd has happened) -
Unable to receive internet connection over wifi connection. Shows that I am connected to the network, but do not have internet access. Checked my firewall and turned it off. What else am I missing or should be doing differently?
You might want to try resetting your router and your modem - just unplug the cords, leave them unplugged for about 3-5 minutes and then replug the modem and then the router in that order.
This may or may not correct your problem - call back if it doesn't.

Need a query to determine what type of access an account have in ERP
Need a code to check what type of access an account (username) and its responsibilities have in ERP - Is it Inquiry only or it have update access and/or ability to run concurrent jobs.
It means
A column (Has Update Capabilities?) should be placed in a report where there are different columns containing Form Name etc.
It should display like below
Update Capabilities --> Put Yes in this field
No Update Capabilities --> Put No in this field
Job Scheduling Capabilities --> Put 'Yes - Job Scheduling'

And have to check whether it has Job Scheduling Capabilities or not.

I have a new IMAC 5k running Yosemite and when I log in I am asked a whole series of questions as to what keychain can access. How can I authorise all of these to be available upon login? Items concerned are such as "Talagent", "Messages agent" etc
Back up all data before proceeding.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select
Change Settings for Keychain "login"
In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences... ▹ First Aid
There are four checkboxes in the window that opens. Check all of them. if they're not already checked. Close the window.

What should have the next update of Windows Phone ...
In the next firmware update of Nokia Lumia 1020 and all the Windows Phone 8.3 update should have at least 4 extra functions and 8 updates.
1. To exist 4 arrows up, down, left and right or at least the 2 basic arrows which is left and right in typing messages keyboard.
Cause i have big fingers and i cant go exactly to the letter of the word that i want to correct - change.
2. In typping messages i prefer to draw the letters just as i was writing to a blank paper or at least like SWYPE.
3. I want to predownload the Sattelite View maps of a country and not just the ordinary one.
4. It should have Ring Profiles such us Meeting, Loud Area, Silence and other.
A. Need update the levels of the brightness of the screen.
At this moment it has only 3 steps (Low-Medium-High), so it needs at least 2 more such us (Very Low and Very High).
B. In Screen Lock needs up to 10 options for software fast state.
C. In Fast Eye View in Night Mode should have not only 3 colors such us (Red,Green,Blue) but all the 20 colors that Thems has.
The Size of the clock should be adjustable and not just one size.
It should have at least 3 sizes (Small-Medium-Large).
D. The camera should take only 1 photo in 38MP and not 2 photos 5MP+38MP.
Also we should have the ability to edit the 38MP on my phone and not only on my PC.
E. In Bluetooth i dont have any options.
I need to change my BlueTooth Name and i cant.
Also I want to set some BlueTooth devices to white and black list and i cant.
F. I should have the option to know how much battery i have in percentage between 0-100% also in minutes left.
G. In Wifi options i should know how much in percent is the signal between 0-100%.
H. The tiles even when it is in small or medium size should be move as it was in large size.
Also anyone who has any ideas that should been add any new funtion or anything else in the next Widnows Phone Update added down please.

3. In the 1st i need to tap 2 times and then save.
Cause the 1st menu is History Calls and if i tab once continue then the only option that i have is erase element.

This to moves could be as one as it is in Symbian Belle.
Not need to tab 2 times.
In the 1st menu when i tab continue should give me 3 options Edit,Copy,Erase.

4. I dont want to use 1st the name cause also i have more contacts that have the same name than have contacts who have the same last name.
Also many of the names and last names i have it use more than 10 characters in 1st and in last name each.
So total is more than 20 characters without spaces or other characters.
for example "Panagiotis Papadopoulos" is 23 characters most of the names that i have inside is between 20-30 characters.
Please do something about that.
5. Still need fix must disconnect the volume zoom from ringtone and vibration.
Also need vibration some choices as continoues or with short pauses or increasing - decrease vibrating.
6. I have 3 classes which are 40 people in each.
So total is 120 students.
I cant do 6 Groups for informing them.
I need 1 up to 3 Groups not more.
Also my co-workers are about 100 I cant do more than 1 or 2 Groups.
My relatives are also about 60 also i need 1 Group again.
I cant have so many groups as you tell me.
Basicly I need 3 Groups to be easy and practicaly for me not 20 Groups.

7. I try to do what you are telling me and it works only when i am not use 1st the search button.
1st i must found the people that i want to inform.
For example i set character 1 for class 1
then when i use the search to find who is in class 1
then shows me all the students in class 1
but i must choose everyone, one by one and do all the same steps from the beggining.
it should give me the option when has found the 30 person to set some box in the left and chooce all of them.
That is not happening.
Please check it.
8. Finaly I found my 5MP + 38MP in the phone but 1st i must extract the 38MP to my computer so to edit.
But i want to use always only my 38MP and never my 5MP photos.
So we need some how to disable the option to take 2 pictures one 5MP and one 38MP.
Its must take only one 38MP and nothing else. -
Today Apple retail unit/shop in sold me Airport Time Capsule. Now trying to install on my 21 inch iMac which runs OSX10.6.8. Seems I should have newer OSX and also newer Airport Utility version (mine is 5.6.1). What can I do, please? So much looking forward to using Time Capsule. It is not at all readable on box. Now with a magnified glass I can just about make out the installation requirements printed in tiny print at the bottom/base of the box! I have tried software update etc etc and to download Airport Utility update from Apple website. This was unsuccessful because of OSX, I gathered. You need OS X 10.7.5 or later. Most likely you can upgrade OS X on your iMac. You already have 10.6.8 and access to the App Store. If your computer qualifies to run Mavericks, then that is what you would upgrade to, otherwise, you would upgrade to Lion.
Upgrading to Lion
If your computer does not meet the requirements to install Mavericks, it may still meet the requirements to install Lion.
You can purchase Lion at the Online Apple Store. The cost is $19.99 (as it was before) plus tax. It's a download.
