What level of Java patch should be applied With ABAP patch level 19

Hi All,
I have a newly installed Netweaver 2004 s XI system. the support pack level is
SAP_ABA         0019
SAP_BASIS      0019
PI_BASIS          0019
ST-PI                 0016
SAP_BW           0019
ST-A/PI             0000
What should be the level for Java package and JSPM should be applied. Can we apply level 17 or should ABAP and JAVA be of the same level??
Regards,
Priya

HI,
Actually now my Java version and all java patches are on the level 19. But my IGS is on level 13. The highest level available is also only 16. So do i need to upgrade my IGS as it will require kernel upgrade or level 13 is ok?
Regards,
Priya

What version of Flash Player should I use with my Power PC based Mac?
Please follow these instructions for installing the most recent version of Flash Player that supports PowerPC based Macs
    1. Follow the instructions for uninstalling Flash Player on the Mac: Uninstall Flash Player
    2. Download and extract the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 zip file
    3. Navigate into the folder "/Flash Player 10.1.102.64/10_1r102_64/"
    4. Mount the file "flashplayer10_1r102_64_ub_mac.dmg" by double clicking
    5. Install using the normal procedure

I was finally able to successfully installed FP on my Mac OS 10.5.8 using the last trick shown below by Chris (Adobe Flash Player.pkg file). This, only after several (at least 10) attempts, and only after restarting my computer after downloading the install file. Thanks for the helpful post.

  • Which patches should be applied

    DB-Version: 11.2.0.2.0  ---- got from v$version
OS : SUNOS 5.10 sparc (this means 32 bit right?)

Hello guys, I have a bit of a situation with patch terminology. My manager came to me and told me that we had to find out which patches to be applied and after that we had to go to metalink and find out what patches are available for our systems.
so first off, I logged into one node, went to $ORACLE_HOME/Opatch/ and did the following "opatch lsinventory" and got the following information.
Now my question is, how do I use the following info to find out what other patches to be applied?

You are running 11.2.0.2   The current (latest) patchset level is 11.2.0.4   That requires an "out-of-place" upgrade -- i.e. by installing 11.2.0.4 in a seperate ORACLE_HOME and then running catupgrd.
However, before you do that, you should be upgrading your Grid Infrastructure (to 11.2.0.4)
Since an upgrade from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.4 is significant, you should test your applications against 11.2.0.4 in a test environment first.
    See Oracle Support notes
11.2.0.4 Patch Set - Availability and Known Issues (Doc ID 1562139.1)
    and
Important Changes to Oracle Database Patch Sets Starting With 11.2.0.2 (Doc ID 1189783.1)
CPUs are documented here : http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/topics/security/alerts-086861.html
The latest CPU, for the October 2013 release, is the final CPU for 11.2.0.2   [See Oracle Support note "Patch Set Update and Critical Patch Update October 2013 Availability Document (Doc ID 1571391.1)"].  Subsequent CPUs will be released for 11.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.4
Some customers, to be safe, do not apply the latest patch "until it has stabilised".  They might choose to be one patch level lower than the latest.  For example, to be on 11.2.0.3 and the July 2013 CPU.  Your organistation needs to have a Patch Management Policy that drives decisions on patching.

  • Which patches should I apply?

    Hi,
I've just downloaded the current version of Oracle Database 11g.
I'd like to apply all the patches which have been released which are not already in this version.
Any ideas how I'd identify these patches and where I'd find them?
    Many thanks,

  • What brand of blu ray should I go with?

Should I trust Vinpower Digital Blu ray discs or should I stick with Sony and Verbatim
On New Egg I can get  25gb Vinpower Digital Single layer printable Blu-ray discs with nice blue jewel case, for  only 4.99$
Or should I stay with Sony and Verbatim and pay twice as much? I produce Wedding Videos and I'm Just starting to use Blu-ray, before then I did all my videos on DL Verbatim DVD's because I learned that most other brand DVD's Don't always work.

Verbatim or TY. Don't get Sony.

  • What iphone 5 uk network should I go with if I move to USA next year?

    Hey guys,
never posted before so please be kind!
I currently live in the uk and I am due an upgrade from my iphone 4. I am on the O2 network and want the new Iphone 5. However I am moving to USA (for good) next year and I am concerned over LTE/4G and picking the right model. Will it matter? any information would be greatly appreciated as I dont want to comit to the iphone 5 here if I wont be able to unlock it for use in America. Thanks in advance!

UK and USA iPhone 5 models are incompatible as far as LTE frequencies go.  What you purchase in the UK will not work in the US because everything is different.
The UK sells unlocked iPhones but the US does not and you are tied into a 2 year contract, so my advice would be to wait until you move to the States next year and purchase a new iPhone 5 there and they may even be selling unlocked iPhones by then or you can take out a 2 year contract with either Sprint, AT&T or Verizon.
Don't upgrade on 02 if you are moving as it won't be worth it.  Stick with what you have go until next year because they are just not compatible.

  • HT1766 What border on ipad air should I go with. Have ipad 2 white but think all the movies I have will look clearer  with black border.

Should I get black border or white?

Also not all videos fill out the entire screen so you get a black boarder then the white bezel. With a black bezel it's all black, a much better look.
I prefer black to begin with, and I agree with this as well.

  • Which D3 patch should I use with X

Okay I know there's a .3 patch on the install CD for D3 but there is also a .3 patch you can DL via the game. Since I actually have both the the game & expansion pk I don't want to mess thing up.

    They are the same.

  • What version of Windows 7 should I use with a MacAir?

I'd like to buy an OEM version if possible.
I believe I need a bootable DVD OEM version - is there a way to tell if an OEM is bootable?
Apple support told me I needed a product key that is compatible with Apple - how would I tell that?
Or... am I better of going full retail?
I need Windows to run some accounting software, but won't use it for anything else - I think Home Premium would be good enough.
    Thanks

You must use a retail version of Windows 7, however, these can no longer be purchased.
You should just use a retail version of Windows 8. And with Windows 8.1, you get the start button back.
You can purchase Windows 8 here.
I hope I answered your question.

  • Applying a unified patch...

    Hi,
Assume that there are 3 database servers but one only database and 4 application servers which host the concurrent managers, forms server, web server (each one of the 4 server).
Also assume that the patch 6502082 needs to be applied to the whole system as described above....
    My questions:
1)Since this patch contain multiple .sql files needs to be applied to the database server(s). Because the database is only one , this patch should be applied just once on a database server...Shouldn't it??? I think it should... Also ,Does it have to be applied afterwards the apply to the applications servers (after the 'c' ('copy part') of the patch ) according to the Metalink Note: 181665.1 and EBS-eDoc.
    2) The same patch should be applied four times on each application server (each one with an identical APPL_TOP dir)...shouldn't it??? I think it should...
    3) According to the Metalink Note: 181665.1 , regarding the four well-known questions :
Do you currently have files used for installing or upgrading the database
installed in this $APPL_TOP [Yes] ?
Do you currently have Java and HTML files for Self-Service Applications
installed in this $APPL_TOP [Yes] ?
Do you currently have Oracle Applications forms files installed
    in this $APPL_TOP [Yes] ?
Do you currently have concurrent program files
installed in this $APPL_TOP [Yes] ?
The answers should be for the db server Y, N, N, N.
while for each of the apply to the application servers N, Y, Y, Y.
    4) Because the patch has an NLS patch as well , which must be applied but does not have any .sql file only an .ldt file ( some rows in the table FND_NEW_MESSAGES will be inserted) and a form file and htm file the order should be the same as for the base lang...shouln't it??? I mean first to the appl. servers and then to the db server(just once) .
    Note: I use EBS 11.5.10
    Thank you

    Sim,
Assume that there are 3 database servers but one only database and 4 application servers which host the concurrent managers, forms server, web server (each one of the 4 server). What do you mean by 3 database servers? Is this RAC? Or it is 3 different database?

Also ,Does it have to be applied afterwards the apply to the applications servers (after the 'c' ('copy part') of the patch ) according to the Metalink Note: 181665.1 and EBS-eDoc.Apply the patch on the admin server (in other words, if you have APPL_TOP on the database server, apply it on this node first), then apply it on each application server (on each node APPL_TOP is presented).
    2) The same patch should be applied four times on each application server (each one with an identical APPL_TOP dir)...shouldn't it??? I think it should...Correct.
    3) According to the Metalink Note: 181665.1 , regarding the four well-known questions :

The answers should be for the db server Y, N, N, N.
while for each of the apply to the application servers N, Y, Y, Y.Depends on what components you have on each node (for example, if you have CM installed on the same database node, answer Yes for the CM question).
Please note if you have the database installed on one server and NO other application components are running on this node, then you do not need to apply the patch on this server (i.e. if no APPL_TOP is presented on database server, then adpatch should NOT be applied on this node).
    4) Because the patch has an NLS patch as well , which must be applied but does not have any .sql file only an .ldt file ( some rows in the table FND_NEW_MESSAGES will be inserted) and a form file and htm file the order should be the same as for the base lang...shouln't it??? I mean first to the appl. servers and then to the db server(just once) .Apply the NLS patch in the same order you follow to apply the base language patch.

  • ROSS CPU didn't work with kernel patch 112233-07

Just noticed my HyperSPARC (ROSS CPU for S10/S20) had problem with kernel patch.
Got 2 X 180Mhz ROSS CPUs running fine with Solaris 9 (kernel level 112233-07) on S20 until applied the Recommended patches set (kernel level 112233-12), once the patches set installed and reboot, the S20 won't boot up anymore and showed some error on the kernel...
Reinstall again the Solaris 9 (kernel level 112233-07), and applied the Recommended patches set without kernel patch 112233-12, system boot up fine without issue.
Was looking around but didn't find anyone else got same issue (even on Sunsolve site) like me, maybe the box is too old to play with...

  • How to save Jobs with different priority level in a Queue?

    Hi, Friends,
I have a set of Job (see below) objects.
I would make a queue: if they have the save priority level, first in and first out. this is easy to do by ArrayList. however, If they have different priority level, I would like make the Jobs with the highest level first out.
How can I implemented this idea in Java?
