What Major/Career to design the iphone/ipod/ipad hardware and iOS design?
I want to go to college to get a bachelor degree to design iphone/ipod/ipad hardware and iOS designing please tell me.
If you are wanting to create internal hardware you need to pursue an Electrical Engineering degree. If you want to write software pursued a computer science degree.
You probably would not be able work on both hardware and software on the iPhone while working at Apple.

On the iPhone, when typing in keyboard or texting, the process to switch between letters, numbers, and symbol keyboard layouts. They should enable the option to use Multi-touch or a finger swipe gesture to switch between keyboards. Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Open System Preferences > Sharing > Internet Sharing, and turn it off by unmarking Internet Sharing in the System Preferences sidebar. Then, make sure you are connecting the Mac to the Internet by Ethernet or FireWire, and then, share your Internet connection by Wi-Fi by marking Wi-Fi. Finally, tick Internet Sharing in the sidebar.
In your devices, open Settings > Wi-Fi, and select your MacBook's connection. You can't use Bluetooth to share the connection -

All I can say is that I REALLY like my Touch 4th gen because I have all sorts of capabilities in a small form: e-mail, web browsing, news, weather, books, magazines, etc. etc. Plus lots and lots of apps out there, including so many free ones. I use the Cloud a lot so it's great to have everything sync'd to my MacBookPro (e-mail, Evernote, Pocket, etc.)
It would be easier, though, to do some of this, especially magazines, on the iPad mini, but, again, I love the small size of the Touch.
As for the 5th gen instead of the 4th, the fifth has Siri and the 3D feature in maps, which are great. And I'm sure it's a lot faster in iOS 6 than the 4th gen. And cool colors!

A large "other" indicates corrupt files. A restore should resolve.
Typically it is a GB or less. -
My iPod touch gen5 wifi keeps dropping out. All the other iPods, iPad, and iPhone 4's don't in the house.

What happens when the iPhone needs an activation and it doesn't respond? Then it asks me to restore it but due to an unknown error (-1) the iPhone can't be restored.
Thank you for your response. However, I have done that plenty of times and each time I try to restore my phone, it extracts the software and then when it says restoring with the loading bar, an error message comes up saying an unknown error has occurred.

You need to use your "emergency email" that you used to set up your iPod to change the security questions and answers.

I find using the iPhone / iPod size virtual keypad much easier to use with a stylus...as when an iPhone app is installed on the iPad. Anyway to use the iPhone size keypad with all apps?
I don't want the keyboard to become bigger. Wish there was a way to always have the iPhone sized keypad available for use with any app. When typing with fingers or stylus, the distance between keystrokes is SO much shorter and efficent on the iPhone keypad vs the "full size" iPad keyboard.
I've heard that there will be some keyboard options when the new IOS comes out...wish this was one of them.
Haven't looked yet, but is there a place you can recommend things such as this to Apple?
