What make of RAM should be in a MacPro and would they all be the same make in a new computer?

My MacPro is only just over 3 years old and 6 of the 8RAM have stopped functioning.
I put the question - how long should RAM last - and had some replies.
One of the replies led me to wonder what make of RAM should be or should I expect to be in a New MacPro.
Should they all have been the same make when new?
2 of the 6 broken RAM are hynix which I believe are used by Apple. I don't know what the make of the 2 functioning RAM are?
The other 4 defunk RAM were made in Singapore with a logo - an oval with an M running through it. I can't find any reference to this on the web.
I am in discussion with the supplier of my Mac so any information would be of help.
8Gb of RAM should last longer than 3years.
The other downer/bad luck was that the Apple care package I bought ran out in January just a few months ago although this slowing of my computer started before then but only bad enough last week to have it checked out.
So disappointed with MacPro. I expected better.
I am having to go back to a PC which the Mac replaced which is still functioning after 7 years so......Mac or PC??????
At this moment in time the PC is proving more reliable and much cheaper!!!!

The cpu heat sinks are not attached to the ram and this is off topic so I am not going to debate it further with you. If you have a mac pro open it up and look inside for youself. If you don't stop speculating.
I should add these dimms do have their own heat sinks but they are physically part of each dimm itself.

At our elementary school, our 150 iPads are separated into 5 subsets. Can I download different apps to each subset, or must they all have the same apps since they all share the same Apple ID. You can configure different set of apps for different groups of ipads.
You need an mdm to do this.

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the disk image (dmg) file to the desktop

I have multiple devices, an iPhone and an iPad, and would like to have the same Game Center setting on each device. I have game I have invested a lot of time into, and if I have to replace my iPad Id like to make sure the settings transfer.

To piggy back on my question, I would also like my Game Center settings to be the same on my iPad and iPhone so I can access the same game. Right now they are different, although the sign on and password to both are identical. Thanks in advance....

I tried to read about home sharing, but it sounds like everyone has to have the same id.

Create NEW account/ID for them using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before. Make sure you specify a birthdate that results in being at least 13 years old
Creating an iTunes Store, App Store, iBookstore, and Mac App Store account without a credit card
Use the new ID on their devices but only for:
Settings>Messages>Send and Receive
Settings>FaceTime
Settings>GameCenter
and Settings>iCloud if you want her to have separate Contacts Calendar and some other things.
Continue to use the same/common Apple ID for Settings>iTunes and App stores so you can share purchases.

Make all pages the same width?

I've seen several answers to this question but they all seem to involve using an external app such as PDF Creator, Distiller, or something like that.
I have a pdf with three pages with different widths. From within Acrobat X, what is the easiest way to make all three pages the same width, or is that even possible without using an external app? If it is possible, please describe how to do this step by step.
By the way, I know there are steps that can be taken to avoid ending up with pdf's that have pages of varying lengths, but this question is not about that. It is about existing pdf's. Thanks a lot
I am using Adobe Acrobat X version 10.0.0.396 on Windows XP Pro SP3

Good question - I would say make all the page be the same width as the widest one. In general, these pdf's will contain 8.5" x 11" pages, sometimes in combination with legal size pages. The actual size of each page will differ depending on such things as who they came from and how they produced the pdf's, what software was used, which scanner was used, etc.
Here would be an example pdf:
The first 3 pages approximately 8.5" x 11" format. The last 2 pages are legal size. As you page throgh the document, the widths change. My usual setting as I page through a pdf is Fit Width. But in this pdf, the first two pages look right, the third page is too narrow, the fourth page looks right, and the fifth page looks too narrow. So given that, How would I make all 5 pages the same width so that as I page through the pdf, the widths are all exactly the same, and not just appear the same? If I have to choose which width they should all be, I'd say go with the widest one.
If I need to run some javascript to accomplish this, that's ok - I'll strip it out before distributing the pdf. Thanks

I realise there have been a number of threads like this now that I have started looking, the problem is the back-ups i made were saved to a server network which has now also gone down, a case of dreadful luck really. Is there any other way to get the music back?

Saving each image as different size - is it an option for you? I would save images with their name as: 20x30.png, 16x20.png etc etc.
Or explain whether you want these in a webpage in which case only one image is necessary and different sizes are displayed with good CSS code. this is question for Dreamweaver forum if this is what you want.

You should check that the Project settings match the clip settings before editing them to the Timeline.
Only newly created Projects will change not existing ones by adjusting the Project settings.
If, for example, you have a Project set to NTSC DV you can only end up in trouble if the clips are PAL 1920 x 1080i.
