Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

How to make tabs show up selectively in different pages?

Hi,
I'm new to APEX and getting my hands dirty now...
I have a standard Tab Set called "TS1", which has 2 tabs (say, tab1 and tab2) in there. Since tabs are under "shared component", so it appears that they are shared throughout all the 10 pages I have.
How can I make the tabs show up selectively in different pages? For example, I want tab1 and tab2 showing up in page1-9, but NOT in page10. There's a "conditions" (Condition Type), but it has many types and I don't know how to use it.

I have a similar requirement. I have several tabs (Operations, Maintenance, Safety, etc.) and users get individually assigned rights. I have a table where I have all the users listed and I added one column for each tab so I can set whether or not that user has access to that tab. You could go the same thing with groups if you want.
Basically, my table looks like this:
USER_ID, USER_NM, PWD_HASH, SAFETY_TAB, MAINT_TAB, OPER_TAB, etc.
where each of the _TAB fields is set up as a VARCHAR2(2) for just Y/N.
On my home page, I assign an APPLICATION_ITEM called G_USER_ID (Global User ID) on login so I can track who it is. Then I set the condition statement on the tab to SQL QUERY RETURNS AT LEAST ONE ROW
using the following query:
select SAFETY_TAB from APEX_USERS
where SAFETY_TAB = 'Y'
and USER_ID = :G_USER_IDThis example would be for the Safety tab, but you can easily substitute others. It works pretty slick.

I cannot make the "Tones" tab appear into my iTunes even if I go to Preferences and click the "Tones" button. What do I do?

I just recently bought the iPhone 5 and updated to the newest version of iTunes and I cannot make the ring"tones" tab appear. I even went to preferences and clicked on the "tones" button so that the "tones" tab would appear, and it won't appear. I reset the computer and everything. If someone could please tell me how to make the "tones" tab actually appear, that would be wonderful.

Can I make an Ap Tab for my "Group Tab?"

For instance I grouped all of the blogs I read into a Tab Group and I want an Ap icon that I can click on in the toolbar to access these blogs. Right now they are all showing up in my toolbar, even though I have them "group tabbed." Or I click on the "group tab" icon and they show up in a thumb nail view.
Basically the tabs in the group are showing up in my toolbar, even though they are grouped and I can access them by clicking on the group tab icon. Why are all the tabs in the group still showing up in my toolbar? And can I just make a Ap Tab for my group?

I don't seem to have any probblem with my 10GB DropBox. My BOX is 50GB and has the normal 100MB upload limit. Actually I have a doxen 50 GB BOX accounts set up on the iPad. I find GoodReader to be a better file manager for BOX and DropBox then their native apps on the iPad.
The bottom line is I can create iBooks in a heartbeat for private purposes and upload them to BOX. Sometimes I upload the source IBA for others working on a similar file version.
So yes it is very easy to prepare an iBook only for your family or for private use.
My first quick and dirty iBook was an "Using iBooks Author" Manual pulling Apple's IA help files together so I could view them on the iPad.
When I get around to it I will update that file. If others would like to work with what I started and help update it I will give them share to .iba on BOX or DropBox for that purpose. My upload limit is 100MB per file on BOX.

All that information is pretty much just all Apple moved to iBook format as I tested a few features of iBooks Author. I created that iBook as a tool for helping my friends deal with the new IA program.

Visual Studio Tabs - Show Title instead of Work Item Number?

When opening individual work items in Visual Studio, the tab in the document well just says "Task 100485" or "Bug 38374". Is there a way to instead have it show the Title of the work item? Just showing the number isn't really
helpful when quite a few are kept open.

We show view the work item Title in each opened work item form in VS. As the work item’s tab has fixed width in VS, so if show the work item Title in each work item’s tab in VS, it will costs the wide width, if work item’s title is long, maybe two or three

Tabs for new windows no longer accumulate; only current tab shows. How do I get new sites on tabs?

If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.<br />
Deleting sessionstore.js will cause App Tabs and Tab Groups to get lost, so you will have to create them again (make a note).

What is the Compatibility Tab grayed out for applications on some network shares, but not others?

I have a network share with an executable file located in it. If I browse to the share by UNC path from a Windows 7 pro workstation and go to the compatibility tab of the .exe, the options are grayed out.
I have another network share with an executable file located on it. This share and workstation are at a different location, unrelated to the first example. If I browse to the share by UNC path from a Windows 7 pro Workstation and go to the compatibility
tab of the .exe file, the options are not grayed out, and I can check or uncheck what ever I need to.
Both shares are located on a Server 2008 R2 system w/sp1. Both workstations are joined to the same domain as the server they are connecting to the UNC path on. Both shares have given the user connecting full access on the smb sharing and ntfs sharing.
Someone please tell me how to make the compatibility tab not grayed out. Here is a screen shot of the comapatibility tab of the .exe file from both shares:

Troubleshoot compatibility to set the application to Compatibility Mode.
You can right-click the application’s shortcut and click Troubleshoot compatibility.

Thanks, but I read that link before I posted this. Even by running the compatibility wizard, you still can't edit the compatibility settings on Windows 7.

Purchased tab shows 1 update available, but I can't find what book. I keep getting popup that it can't download the update. Why did the updates tab disappear in ios8?
FIrst it showed 2 updates, but I kept getting a popup that it couldn't download the update. So I had to search in my list of books which books had updates. I just deleted all the books that had an update message. It kept showing 2 updates available, until I deleted every book I could find that had an update. But now it keeps showing a 1, and I can't find the corresponding book, and I keep getting a popup that it can't download it, even when ibooks is closed.

What makes a field eligible for selecting data in a subreport?

I have posted the following question to [StackOverflow|http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4366702/what-makes-a-field-eligible-for-selecting-data-in-a-subreport], but it has so far generated no replies. I decided to cross-post it here to see if I could get a better result.
The TL;DR of it is that I have a field which I should be able to link in my Subreport, but it does not appear, and I was wondering what I need to do to make it appear.
I have a Crystal Report I'm trying to recreate from scratch after an update from VS2008 to VS2010 caused it to implode horribly.
I've gotten most of the way through, but I'm at a stage where I'm linking a field in the Main Report to a corresponding field in the Subreport.
I have set up a bunch of Database fields in the Subreport, I've added the table I want, TableA, I've linked it up as everything was linked in the original report, with TableA at the head of the linking chain, so that all the rows I want can be derived from the result of that first query ( Actually, all of the links from the original Report were red in the Database Fields linking dialog, whereas mine are a bit rainbow-y. All the links in TableA are red, though... _ )
In the "Subreport Links" dialog, I have an integer which I know is being pulled from the database correctly. I've added it in the "Fields to link to" listbox, and selected the newly-created parameter in the "Subreport parameter to use" combobox. I've ticked the "Select data in subreport based on field" checkbox.
The database field I want to link to then does not appear in the second combobox.
Another integer field in TableA shows up fine in the "Select data..." combobox (and is linked to another field being passed in), so I don't know why these two integer fields, which are equally important, and exist on the same level, on the same table, are being treated differently by the report designed.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Here is what I'd do:
1) Download CR 2008 eval designer from here:

2) Try the linking in CR 2008 designer
3) If it does not work there, ask why not in the [CR design|SAP Crystal Reports, version for Visual Studio; forum.
4) If you get the linking working in the CR 200 designer, try to run the report in your VS2010 app (after ensuring the report woks as expected in CR 2008).
5) If (4) above works out for you, please let me know as this may be an issue with CRVS2010.

App (pinned) tabs and Tab Groups (Panorama) are stored as part of the session data in the file sessionstore.js in the Firefox profile folder.

How to make close last tab actually open SuperStart rather then closing Firefox?

Is there a way to make Firefox (or SuperStart) NOT close Firefox when the last tab is closed? I'd prefer for it to act like Opera in that it would make the SuperStart tab page appear instead. This way I have to choose to close Firefox by actually closing Firefox (such as clcking the red "x" in the corner of Firefox, etc).
Just because I don't want the last tab open does NOT mean I want to close my browser.
As a result of this current behavior, when I reopen Firefox I end up with that last tab showing up again, which of course I don't want either.

Also make SuperStart your home page.
