What makes a player compatible with subscription servic

Hi all, this is my first post. I've been a Rhapsody subscriber for a year, and I want to upgrade to Rhapsody To Go. I have a MuVo TX FM, which is not compatible. What makes these things compatible or incompatible with subscription services? I just bought it last year, and I really don't wanna have to buy a new player just to transfer music thru a subscription service. Can anyone tell me if a firmware upgrade is in the works to make the MuVo compatible? Thanks very much,?Ed

Hope you don't mind me asking why? - As long as they've got a F/W connector how does the source media make any difference? - In fact, I would think that shuttling around would be faster with HD's or DVD's.....
I also believe the salesperson was trying to say that he's going to need a BluRay deck in order to be able to view his HD material on an appropriately equipped TV - Which is correct, no?
Thanks in advance for any comments,
Cheers,
Ian

  • Muvo 200 and compatibility with subscription services (Napster to

    Hi
I bought an muvo v200 as a christmas present as it displayed the "plays for sure" logo on the box. However, on reading the documentation and online stuff it doesnt look as if the device is compatible with subscription services.
Can anyone confirm this please...or better still tell me there is a firmware u/g available somewhere. If it isnt going to work, then I am confused by the meaning of the "playsforsure" logo on the box.
    Thanks for your help.

None of Creative's memory-based players is compatible with Subscription services. If you look into PlaysFor Sure a bit more you will see that there are 2 parts to it - Download and Subscription.
Creative display the PlaysForSure logo because it is compatible with the Download part of PFS.
PFS was devised by Microsoft and there is more info about it at www.playsforsure.com.

What iPhoto version is compatible with Lion OSX 10.7.5 and will it let me make photo calendars?
I have just upgraded from Leopard to Lion (via Snow Leopard) because I could no longer order photo calendars with iphoto 7.1.5.  However, I still have iphoto 7.1.5 and need to upgrade this.  From the App store it looks as though I cannot get iphoto 9.5.1 due to the incompatibility with Lion.  I was recemmended not to upgrade beyond Lion due to the age of my iMac computer (2008 version) by Stormfront staff.
What is the best iphoto to upgrade to and how do I do this e.g. iLife '09 or '11, or are there any other 'stand-alone' versions of iphoto that would be compatible?  How do I know whether my computer is capable of upgrading to Mountain Lion?  I definitely want to be able to make photo calendars, books and cards.
    Thanks

iPhoto '09 or '11 - purchase an iLife '09 or '11 DVD (amazon or eBay are potential sources) and install iPhoto and update to the latest version for your OS

What Cellular products are compatible with Adobe Flash -player?

To be precise, some OLD Android handsets will still have Flash Player installed, but it's not officially available to new ones (nor is it updated). There are some unofficial hacks in the Google Play store that allow you to install it on newer handsets but they're nothing to do with Adobe, and I wouldn't trust them all that much.
Kathymsg is asking in the Adobe Reader forum - so if she's asking about running Flash content within a PDF file, the answer is simple: there is no support on any mobile device and probably never will be.

  • What video cameras are compatible with Final Cut Express?

I live in Japan and was thinking of buying a Victor " Full High Definition" video camera (1920x1080). The only thing I was warned about by the salesperson is that unless I have a Blue-Ray DVD recorder/player, I will never be able to enjoy true Full HD after burning my video to a DVD. I guess regular DVD recorders/players can't support it yet.
I have searched to find a page that tells me what video camera is compatible with my iMac G5, but no luck. Any ideas on how to find out before buying a video camera? I would appreciate anyone's advice.
    Thanks, Larry in Japan

what other keyboard is compatible with a HP NX9010?

Thank you for your response, Much appreciated.
I recently reloaded windows XP, the laptop was working fine but now i am having a problem with the keyboard, it seems as if the number 6 key is jammed, but it is not, when the laptop is booting up, it beeps as if a key is held down, when windows starts up and you right click, it makes a continuous beeping noise like you pressing a key, when you open up a word or excel doc, the number 6 continously come on. i removed the number 6 key and cleans the circuit as i though it might be dirty but the 6 continues to come, even though nothing is touching the circuit. i though it could be software related because i reloaded but when i did a disk scan, the laptop started up, when it came to the scan, it automatcially got cancelled, this is because it is picking up the 6 key as pressed. Could this definately be the keyboard?

  • What virus software is compatible with OS 10.4.10?

I use Microsoft Encourage for my mail and a combination of Opera and Firefox as my browsers (Opera mostly because of its security).
I didn't renew my virus software because the Mac ads said that I didn't need to, but closer reading led me to find out that your protection is only for my .Mac mail and Safari use.
So, what virus checkers are compatible with OS 10.4.10 and do you recommend?
Thanks. (Or do I need them? Maybe I don't I'm really not sure--that's why I'm writing, I guess. Am I protected without any other software if I use programs other than .Mac and Safari Thanks again?)

ClamXav works good and is Free. I only use it when I am downloading software for my windows side or my wife's PC. The only time you really must have protection is when you run windows. There hasn't been any problems yet with a virus on Macs but since it is becoming more popular who's to say there won't be a problem down the road.

  • HT1338 what printer will be compatible with my laptop?

Please help me on what printer will be compatible with my laptop?

Most brands are currently compatible (HP, Canon, Epson). Depending on your needs, any model of those brands will work. If you have an iPhone, you may want to get a model that supports AirPrint so you can print from your iPhone. Which ever brand you like, go to their web site and review the models to see which one you want. Also, be sure what you choose supports WiFi so you can use it wirelessly.

  • What video cameras are compatible with mac without having to download software

What video cameras are compatible with mac computers without having to download software?

Did you try connecting your camera to the computer USB port via the supplied USB interface cable instead of plugging in the SD card directly?
No driver is needed to connect your computer to your camera.

Regardless of whether or not you 'like' downloading and installing software on your computer, Canon DOES HAVE software available for your specific camera and it IS compatible with recent versions of the Mac OS X operating system. Maybe try that instead of whining here about it not being compatible.

    Question
When are you going to make GOOGLE TOOLBAR compatible with the latest version of firefox, i will not update to version 8 until its compatible

It's not going to happen. Google announced withdrawal of their Google Toolbar.

The Google Toolbar will not be updated for Firefox 5 or later Firefox versions. ([http://googletoolbarhelp.blogspot.com/2011/07/update-on-google-toolbar-for-firefox.html reference]) Google finally decided that their [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions problematic extension] is beyond repair for the little benefit added for Firefox users. Google as with other browsers is eliminating or making toolbars less accessible.
Consider the features that you are using and see if you can match up features from the list created by Google and by Firefox users.
