What menu item is "Zoom to fit Selection"

Just going through a tutorial that asked me to "Press Control-Option-Z (the Zoom to fit Selection command). I can't for the life of me find this in any of the menus. I realize I can type control-option-z, but I would think you could get to that from a menu. Also, control-z returns me back. Is there a comparable menu item for that? I don't have a problem with shortcuts, just wondering...
Thanks

Some key commands are unique and don't have the corresponding menu items, so I think this is the case.

  • Toggle zoom to fit selection key not working

    I am using the default key command "z" for "Toggle zoom to fit selection or all contents" which works to zoom in but does not toggle back out when hitting "z" again. Does anyone else have this problem or a possible solution to get the key command to toggle instead of just zoom in?

    I've tried using a different UNUSED key comb and it's still not working. Also tried unlearning toggle track zoom and same problem. Must be something else.

  • Viewing more than 9 Forms from the Window Menu Item

    Hi,
    I would like to know if you can list more than 9 Forms at one time from the Windows Menu Item before you have to select the MORE WINDOWS option to display the entire list of currently opened forms.
    Can this be set in the .mmb or some config file?
    It would be nice to have a list of about 12 Forms to choose from at one time before selecting the MORE WINDOWS option.
    Christina.

    Hi Frank,
    The Forms version our system uses is Oracle Forms 6i.
    A user would like to know if this scenario is possible during runtime.
    However, I would like to know what modifications can I make during design time to make this possible.
    Thanks.
    Christina.

  • Can a Vision image display's "zoom to fit" action be seen by an event structure?

    The "Image Display" indicator from the "Vision" palette has a right-click (context) menu option of "Zoom to Fit".
    Is there any way to capture the selection/execution of this action with an event structure?

    I don't believe there is a way to do this with an event structure.  However, there is an image window property node for the zoom to fit option.  You can wire the output boolean into the input of a case structure and execute a different set of code depending on whether or not the zoom to fit option is selected.  This should give you the same functionality as an event structure.  Please let me know if you have any further questions.

  • How can I change the File-- Open menu item?

    In Bridge CS4, I want an option to open a selected JPEG photo in Photoshop CS4, which I believe would be the File-->Open command.  However, in that menu item I only have the option of selecting ACDSee Pro to open a file with.
    Is there a way to change this menu item so that I can select Photoshop CS4 to open a JPEG with?
    Thanks,
    John

    Thanks John.  Go into the Windows Folder options and associating CS4 with JPEG fixed the problem.  In fact, when I do File-->Open now in Bridge CS4, all of my photo editors appear on the list.

  • Re-order manual menu items?

    When working with a manual menu, is there any way to change the order of the menu items once created, or are you forced to manually delete the menu item, and create a new one in the proper place?

    Interesting ..... I am sure you could just drag it like you can accordion and tabs. But however, there is a way to do it anyways! ;-)
    If you want a new menu item in the middle, just select the button next to where you want to add a new button and click on the + where you would like the new button inserted. You can add a new button left, right or below your main menu buttons. If it is a drop down button you are adding to an existing drop down you can add the new button in all four directions.

  • Presenting video clips as menu items

    Hi,
    I can't seem to find the answer to this question in the forums so here it goes. I have a bunch of video clips that I would like to place in iDVD. My idea is to have a menu that lists each clip and when you select a menu item, the project plays that selected video full screen like a typical photo slideshow. When it ends, the DVD would return the user back to the menu from which you came.
    It sounds simple but I cannot seem to find a way to do that. The only way to create a menu item is either by having a folder or slideshow of images. Am I missing something?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Well I beg to differ a little. It is in the help and getting started files, but I agree it seems a little counter-intuitive, and many users run into this. Just remember the drop zones are for the menus only, not the main feature.
    In iDVD help, if you type movie in the search box, you'll find Adding a movie to your iDVD Project where it says Drag a movie file from the Finder to the background of a DVD menu.

  • How do I change stills with each menu item selected?

    Hi all.
    I am trying to create a menu (with 10 items) which contains one single dropzone box, which will contain a still that changes with each menu item selected (instead of 10 different stills next to each item).
    I have absolutely no idea how to achieve this! Do I create a different menu for each item? Is there a way to have a slideshow within the menu that changes with each item selected?
    Please help!
    Many thanks
    James

    THe way to do what you want to do is layered menus which have some limits
    http://dvdstepbystep.com/layersover.php
    What you would do is change the item that appears in the same section - in other words there would be ten layers with a diffrerent picture in the same exact spot, the rectangle buttons sections do not need to be over the picture section
    http://dvdstepbystep.com/Layers_Example.dmg is a project that does changing images.

  • I want to get rid of the Bing screen but there is no "menu at the top of the Firefox window" for me to "select Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item. "

    I suddenly have a "Bing" screen when I sign onto Firefox---and I want to get rid of it. The support section of Firefox says
    1. "From the menu at the top of the Firefox window, seledt Tools and then select the Add-ons menu item."---but I see no "menu item" nor Tools, much less Add-ons.
    2. "In the Add-ons window, click on the Extensions panel."---but how do I find the Add-ons window?
    3. Find the Bing Bar and Search Helper Extension in the list and click Disable for each of them."---but what and where exactly is that?
    At the top of the screen is only a Yahoo icon on the left and to the right of it a search box, "Web Search,", "My Apps," Yellow Pages," "Weather," "Updates," and "Skype." to the right of those there is a green cross saying "Add more apps. to your toolbar" and to the right of that a sort of gear shift looking icon saying "toobar settings."
    So, in short, how do I get rid of the Bing screen and how do I access those Tools?
    Thanks.

    To get rid of Bing Search Window..............
    Click on View tab / Tools and un-check 'Search' (alias for 'Bing')

  • Firefox 4 hangs a little on every action - typing, moving the window, selecting a menu item, selecting a tab, ...

    Since installing Firefox 4 RC2, and now Firefox 4, Firefox constantly hangs on every action. Just in typing this message, the program pauses for a second or two every few words. Opening a tab, selecting a menu item or even moving the Firefox window incurs a brief pause of a second or two. This makes the users experience terribly slow. I've tried turning off sync and starting Firefox with extensions disabled. Nothing seems to help. I upgraded from RC2 but then deleted and reinstalled Firefox.
    I'm having this problem on my MacBook Pro, which is pretty new (less than a year old) and otherwise very fast (i.e., i7 processor and 8Gb RAM). I have the newest version of OS X (10.6.7) and have updated all extensions.
    I've watched my system monitor and Firefox is constantly and repeatedly going from low to near 100% CPU use every few seconds. I have no special, unusual settings (I've gone through preferences).
    This is getting so bad that I'm about ready to abandon FireFox. Any suggestions would be helpful.

    I had the same problem, I kept searching and found this:
    [http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=580592&start=0 http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=580592&start=0]
    Which says to delete your sessionstore.js from your profile. It seems to have worked so far on my macbook pro.
    If you're concerned about losing the file rename it first, here's a description about what the file does:

  • Javascript Select Menu Item & Tool

    I am brand new to javascript and quite overwhelmed trying to learn this language. I am trying to convert extensions for Photoshop that were created with Configurator 4 (in case some of you may not know, these panels will no longer be supported in future versions of Photoshop).
    I need to create some HTML panels that use javascript. If someone could help me get started with some basic javascript I would be greatly appreciative.
    Here is what I need to get started:
    1. Tabs at the very top for access to different panel layers.
    2. Open menu item with button connected to javascript.
    3. Select tool from javascript.
    I have found the documentation a bit scarce for non-coders (Hello Adobe), so if someone could show me how the above would work then I probably can figure out the rest.
    Thanks in Advance - Sam

    Thank you - that's the ticket.
    For both tool and menu item I had ScriptingListenerJS active and it gave me the javascript for selecting a tool and also a menu item.
    I will look into the creating tabs on the panel in html.
    Another question:
    I am working with the "Hello World" extension example and am a bit confused by the main.js file.
    (function () {
        'use strict';
        var csInterface = new CSInterface();
        // Reloads extension panel
        function reloadPanel() {
            location.reload();
        function init() {
            themeManager.init();
            $("#btn_reload").click(reloadPanel);
            $("#btn_test").click(function () {
                csInterface.evalScript('sayHello()');
            $("#new_doc").click(function () {
                csInterface.evalScript('newDoc()');
             $("#myNewDoc").click(function () {
                app.documents.add();
        init();
    On the html page there is this: <button id="btn_test">Call ExtendScript</button>
    On the main.js file there is this:
    $("#btn_test").click(function () {
                csInterface.evalScript('sayHello()');
    What does the "$" mean and what does the "#" mean in front of "btw_test".
    Thanks in advance - Sam

  • IPod Touch Self Selects Menu Items Without Touching Screen - 2nd Gen

    With my iPod Touch sitting flat and motionless on a desk, without even touching it, menu items on the screen are self selecting, as if a ghost were touching the screen and selecting the item. It happens on the lower left portion of the screen on whatever screen is currently displayed. It will continue to select whatever item is in that area of the screen, advancing, or going back, until nothing is in that area of the screen to be selected. This "self Selection" happens at various times, from 1 second to a minute, from when the screen is displayed. Usually at about 5-10 second intervals, but it varies.
    Here is what I have done thus far in attempts to "fix" the problem. None of them have worked and the problem still remains.
    - Restored the iPod from within iTunes (twice)
    - Complete Reset/Erase of the Touch on the unit itself (twice)
    - Ensured the battery was fully charged
    - Synced it with two entirely separate iTunes Libraries on 2 different computers
    - Cleaned the screen VERY well to ensure that no film or residue was on it (it is squeaky clean)
    - Slightly tried to flexed (very gently) the Touch to see if it would change this from happening
    - The shake feature is not the issue (turned off and not touching the iPod Touch)
    - Searched the web pretty thoroughly for answers
    Any thoughts...?

    You have the "Halloween Syndrome!!"
    Good news though, it should clear up when Halloween is over with.
    Seriously, it sounds like your screen digitizer needs replacing. Contact a third-party repair service. It will be cheaper to fix that going through Apple.

  • What are the parameters for the processes menu items

    Is there anywhere that lists out what the exact parameters of the process menu items are. i.e "Make Louder, Normalize, Hard Limit, Equalize Volume Levels",
    For instance when you use "Make Louder" you see the dialog box title change from "Analyzing peeks" to "Applying Hard Limit". What exactly is happening when these processes are being applied? I realize that the Hard limiter is being applied, but with what paramaters and what does "Analyzing peeks" really mean and is there a way to do that by its self and if so what can be learned by the results.
    I would also like to know the paramaters for the others as well. It would be helpfull to know, so one could dial up or down the paramaters to achieve a similar result, but with slightly more or less effect.

  • Acrobat Forms - Make fillable text box appear after box checked or drop down menu item selected

    I have been asked to build an approvals form for my workplace however the approval processes vary considerably depending on the subject. I have been asked to create a list of topics in the form of check boxes or a drop down menu which will then populate a list of text boxes with differing approval authorities and corresponding spaces for signatures.  i.e. if 'Topic 1' is selected a list of names and signature spaces will appear, however if 'Topic 2' is selected a different list of names and signature spaces will appear instead.
    In order to achieve this I think I only need to find out how to link check boxes or drop down menu items to the appearance of different text boxes.
    I should also add that I am a beginner with this stuff.
    Thank you very much for any help you can provide.

    Remove the red coloured part
    ul.MenuBarHorizontal ul.MenuBarSubmenuVisible {
    left: auto;
    top:0;
    or start again with the original SpryMenuBarHorizontal.css and follow the rules as in http://www.dwcourse.com/dreamweaver/ten-commandments-spry-menubars.php#one.
    Either way will get you back on track.
    Good luck.
