What Msi should i choose?

Hi. I would like to hear your guyes what you think that i should buy. And which Msi is the best for gaming?

Well.....
- If pure performance only is the focus, then that would be the GT70 or GT60 with a GTX880M. (Most 2013-present games on high settings @ 1080p)
- If mobility is an issue, then the GS70 or GS60 with a GTX870M. (Most 2013-present games on medium/high settings @ 1080p)
- If you are on a budget, then the GE40, GE60 or GE70 with GTX860M. (Most 2013-present games on medium settings @ 1080p)
- If you are an AMD Fanboy, then the GX60 or GX70 with R9 M290X (Most 2013-present games on medium settings @ 1080p)
Is there any genres of games you play? Battlefield? Crysis? Watch Dogs? Starcraft? Give me some titles you want to play on this laptop (if you're gaming on it)

  • Service Dpt. got troubles repairing my mac and give me alternative options.. What option should I choose? Help!

I got a MacBookPro few months ago (October 2011)
                       17-inch, Early 2011
Processor  2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory     4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics   AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
Software   Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4
But for multiple issues I had to take it back. After several repairs, they offered me the three options below as the 17-inch MBP is discontinued(?).. Which one should I choose?
The main reason I want a 17-inch screen is that I am working with graphics and also I move often, so I can't afford carrying an iMac around.
    1. Replace the unit with this 15-inch Macbook Pro - this would take approximately 2 weeks to arrive
    15-inch MacBook Pro
    • Part number: Z0MV
    • 2.3GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
    • 4GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x2GB
    • 128GB Solid State Drive
    • SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
    • MacBook Pro 15-inch Hi-Res Antiglare Widescreen Display
    • Backlit Keyboard (US) & User’s Guide (English)
    • Accessory Kit
    2. Replace the unit with a 15-inch Macbook Pro Retina - this could take approximately 4-6 weeks
    15-inch: 2.3GHz Retina display
    2.3GHz quad-core Intel Core i7
    Turbo Boost up to 3.3GHz
    8GB 1600MHz memory
    256GB flash storage1
    Intel HD Graphics 4000
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M with 1GB of GDDR5 memory
    Built-in battery (7 hours)2
    3. We repair your unit in store as soon as possible.
Can you help me out please?
    1) I am afraid that if I choose the third option, I won't be able to fix my MBP in the future in case that there are no spare parts (for example, if I get problems with the screen).
    2) I don't understand how equal are the three models based on their prices...

"Another reason that makes me worry, is that I may go live in a country which doesn't have an Apple Store. (but they do have Apple representative suppliers)."
Then what's the worry? Consider how long you intend to own this MBP. Figure 3 years. Buy AppleCare to make sure you're covered. You're obsessing about an issue that may or may not happen. This is just my opinion. The other opinions are, from what I read, based upon what each poster wants, not what you need. You've got to assess your own requirements.

  • What MSI should do to fix MSI TV Anywhere Master !

able Of Content for below email:
    1) context
    2) essentials on how-to definitively fix MSI TV Anyhwere Master while  natively recovering your customers long-term trusting in MSI logo.
    - - - - - -DETAILS:
    1) My neighbors have recently bought 2 pieces MSI - TV Anywhere Master tuner cards by following my latest advices.
They both are students engaged by few media tasks in our campus to provide internal training by video samples and news broadcasts in local areas.
One of them told me his intention to even start some anti-MSI virtual campaigns through world-wide forums against your product as a reasoned revenge for huge effort with no results during lot of time-loossing trials to setup, stabilize and properly use your MSI proprietary software and drivers (MSIPVS-WinDVR) delivered by with this product's original package.
Now they claim as many others found on alike forums, all  money back and tens hours stress compensations from proximate shopping center cause these MSI tuner cards not working as they thought while comparing MSI product with other's alike.  It seems that MSI duped its long-term customers.
They tested on both licensed and updated Windows 98 SE and latest Windows XP Pro (latest service packs included) but received undesirable results that we will compact them as below to suggest you what and how to fix it.
    2) Best ways to fix it :
    I. redesign all its drivers to include that MSI "secret" proprietary strings-keys requested to keep full activated your TV Anywhere Master card (CX23881-19 chipset) anytime for any other tuner/capture application (other 3rd party software like ChrisTV Pro, DScaler, PowerVCR, Virtual VCR /freeware!!!)
Currently, all these better featured applications can setup and recognize most of your competitors alike cards (based on new 10-bit CX2388x chipset) but not yours MSI Anywhere !
It is worst way to freeze by default your customers expectations and usage development!
So, unlock your card by new drivers really compatible with Microsoft OSs so, nobody will complain anymore against MSI hurried & unfinished or less-featured products due to any software related issues!
Remind that you are one of greatest HARDWARE producer not SOFTWARE, so, better provide what you are to provide!   Let others much more trained for software purposes to do it and to compete among themselves while getting much more freely alternatives to promote your cards to an wider range of users with different skills and interests.
II. redesign MSIPVS-WinDVR's setup panel to recognize and include any codec previously installed in the system during its launching, like your competitors' above software already done it successfully !  Mostly focus on DivX for video and MP3 for sound and alike codecs which are mostly used and available today everywhere (>70%!) both licensed and freeware releases, comparing with those obsolete MPEG files!  There is no need to train yourself by own software cause you better ask people like Chris(TV Pro) to do it for you much better and cheaper!  Forgot about MPEG2 and MPEG4(yours!) cause are for nothing !  Your MPEG4 not works on others PCs while MPEG2 is no use for most customers due to large resources requirement with even lower performances than an very well-settled DivX, which needs ten times lower space!!
Go DivX 5x and MP3 for any software based encoding purposes is the only target for your recording settings panel!
Also for Win Producer /Win Coder which can not not administer DivX and MP3 correctly.  (ask VirtualDub to replace it cause it is working infinitely better!)
III. channel settings and scanning must be also redesigned to get more stable and transparent to the user: add a new column with its channel frequency and a real working stable control to FINE tuning and SAVE.
Finally, BEST is to setup a dedicated text file to save and launch all configurations within.  Anytime when push APPLY or SAVE, to write something in that file and then to read from there instead of use usually unstable system registry dynamic records.  In the same way, customer who want to fix something or really save their settings to preserve your cards and applications for unexpected failures, development etc, will be able to adjust on his own risk some settings which were not correctly settled by the application etc.
This is to provide much more reliability to this card usage and to compensate potential bugs in future releases.
IV. Provide an interface like above (III) to the enduser who  mostly demands to reconfigure remote control unit which is now too poor and not include essential controls like start/stop recording etc.  All remote controls to be written in a text file at also enduser disposal to modify shortcuts in order to reallocate remote control buttons to another panel controls etc.
    V. MSI-Radio tuner must have channel name (retrieved from FM table settings) displayed under the frequency and much more selectivity and real correct scanner (not use that "less stations" control).  It could be very demanded a wider range scanning from 30 MHz up to 110 MHz for many other locations.
Both for TV channels (see MSI-PVS to provide full tuning all frequencies including manually settings each channel!)
If it is hard to do it for Windows 98 release, provide them for XP at least but inside a better structured website than now.  In the present there are still many confusings and no stable procedure (that provided on the original CD has lot of bugs and missings risking to freeze the system!) regarding from where to download updates (too many different addresses to discover inside MSI-support site).  MSI TV Anywhere Master must have its own unique sub-site with all updates downloads included in the same page, both for drivers and for applications!   Also is a must to include WDM MS-8606 drivers instead of current ones to not receive anymore that error "nVIDIA WDM universal Capture" not found.
Please email me and my neighbor marcellino
([email protected]) when demands described above will get fixed !
Thank you in advance and wishing MSI good lock for better results!
    Regards,
    TekSam & marcellino

    Exactly my thoughts.
Probably they're even too affraid to give us some answers about how, what and where.
I had a previous descussion about an MSI mb that wouldn't accept a 40GB Maxtor hd. My asus mb didn't have a problem with detecting it.
Their reply was to flash to the latest bios version, which I already wrote that I did that in my e-mail to them.
A friend of mine had the same MSI mb, guess what???   same problem. His Dell pc, no problem.
Wrote back to MSI, waiting for 3 years now , never received an e-mail. (wrote a couple of reminders).
I now bought this tv nowhere card and I have the same problem as many people have....     alot of sh*t ....   and not working. No refund, 0 support, users must help other users to solve certain issues, --->  10 clean versions of winXP and hours and hours of stress
This will be the last MSI product that I will EVER buy.

  • What Language Should I Choose?

I live in Australia, but when I choose what language I want to use which one do I choose?
    English (UK)
    Or
    English (US)

I believe the main difference, beyond some extra (or missing) vowels is if you want temps in farenheit or celsius
Choose the one that works for you.
You can always change it later.

  • What SSD should i choose for an macbook pro 17inch early 2011?

i have been hearing great things from the samsung series, and i was going to choose this one
    http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=84666 39&CatId=5300
Also i have another question, will this also help with heating issues i have sometimes? for example i use programs like final cut pro x and adobe premire, and apple motion, after effects, and if i do intensvie things it will sometimes overheat, causing some lag in the programs, espically if i work on 1920x1080 footage if im just cutting up clips, i use my SMC fan control alot to cool it down and it helps, but it ***** i have to turn it on as soon as i open up a program cause i know the fans will rise
Also my overheating issues sometimes go into the browsers i use, chrome and firefox, if im on a very flashy website or watching videos, it will heat and my vids and websites will lag and glitch, it ***** i have to use safari cause of this, my only qualm with safari it is not quick enough, pages load slower, and images loading up are super slow, but atleast with safari videos play good, and i dont get any heating up, i will say i had no problem using chrome and firefox, before upgrading to mavericks and now it just heats up and lags,
or does this depends on my video card and ram?
    Here are my specs
Processor  2.2 GHz Intel Core i7
    Memory  8 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics  AMD Radeon HD 6750M 1024 MB
    Serial Number  C0******F92
    Software  OS X 10.9.2 (13C1021)
    <Personal Information Edited by Host>

oh and another thing, it doesnt heat up when the programs or browsers set idle, and if im doing not to heavy editing in my programs
    thanks in advance

  • If I want to manually set the channel, what channel should that be?

I received a tip to choose my channel manually, to get higher speed because of all the wifis in the area. What channel should i choose, and is there any difference wether i choose channel 1 or channel 13?

In theory, you could use a utility like iStumber or other similar applications to survey the wireless networks in your area, see what channels are being used by those networks and choose a different channel for your wireless.
Unfortunately, it is just not that simple. Other routers are looking for available channels and changing all the time, as does your Apple router. A "good" channel today may be overcrowded tomorrow or even an hour from now.
On top of that, many users employ an option to "hide" their network so that its name and channel information is not displayed when you scan for other networks using a utility like iStumbler.
So, there is a good chance that there are additional wireless networks that you cannot even "see" and it becomes virtually impossible to try to pick an open channel. The whole thing becomes a matter of daily guesswork to try find a good channel.
Your TC is already programmed to automaticlly look for the best channel available. It's possible that you might be able to find a good channel manually, but which channel to choose? in the U.S, channels 1, 6 and 11 are the most crowded channels.
Lupunus has an excellent suggestion in that you try the 5 GHz channels since there are very few 5 GHz wireless networks in operation.....for now.

One way to handle that is to use a session bean to access all the data at once and then send back a collection of objects. There's a Core J2EE pattern called session facade that can help:

First what model Mini do you have? That will determine how high y can go.
How to identify Mac mini models
In any event you will have to pay

  • I'm trying to load the free trial of Illustrator; I get to the Download page, click the big blue box at the top righthand of the screen, but it asks me to choose an application (?)  What should I choose to open my new trial with?  Thanks.

Giving Illustrator a try with the free trial offer.  When I go to download Ai, I am asked to choose an application with which to open it--what should I choose?

Sounds like you maybe trying to download with firefox. In Internet explorer it will automatically switch to the correct application, but with firefox it prompts you instead.
Scroll down the window and find content manager. That will download the installer. Run the installer, after the installer has finished and the manager runs. Open the manager if it is not already, then from there you can select illustrator. It will install it for you.

  • What project settings should I choose in PE8 for frame rate of 29.97 if camera source unknown?

Hi, I would like to know what project settings to choose in premiere elements 8 for a frame rate of 29.97, pixel aspect ratio of 1.3333 and 1440x1080?  Should I choose HDV, AVCHD or hard disk?  I didn't record the footage, so I'm not sure what it was recorded on.

I am definately selecting NTSC - HDV, HDV, 1080I30.  I then import the video. It shows in the project media - properties as 29.97 frame rate and in the interpret footage it also shows as 29.97.  But when it finishes indexing and starts to conform the video is changes to 25 frame rate.
Please see images below.  When importing the video it is at a frame rate of 29.97 until the indexing has finished, then it changes to 25 before conforming video
    IMAGE 1. Project settings
IMAGE 2.  Indexing image.  frame rate at 29.97fps
IMAGE 3. Properties while indexing video - 29.97 fps
IMAGE 4.  Interpret footage - still while indexing at 29.97fps
IMAGE 5.  Finished indexing changes to 25 fps and starts to conform video?

  • What MP4 Compressor settings should I choose for a 10 min 9GB QT video to be uploaded onto a website?

What MP4 settings should I choose for a 10 min 9GB QT video (exported from FCP) to be uploaded onto a website?
They said 'I've been trying to upload the video to our website but our IT contact has told me that it is too big.  Could you send the file in MP4 format compressed for web?'
Any thoughts would be really appreciated.
    Warm regards
    Peter

    Hi,
Go to Compressor inspector window>Encoder tab>Click Video: Settings button>In the window that comes up go to Data Rate and change the default 220 Kbits/sec to 150.
The resulting file (if DV, under a minute) will definiteltly be under 2MB and quality good enough. Remember that quality always depends on the source, the greater your original footage looks the better the compression result.

  • What iOS Developer Program Should we choose.

Hello, this is my first question here,
I work in a development enterprise, and we want develop iOS Applications ONLY for our clients.
We have our Windows Based Desktop Application; and we want to give iPhone support to our clients, I think this is called B2B (Business to business) Applications. We don't want the app appears in the App Store, we need the app private, because we only want give acces for the app to our clients, and maybe we also need the work with the VPP (Volume Purchase Program).
Then, what iOS Developer Program should we choose?

hey was reading through it and um
Let me put it like this:
You do not need a iOS subscription to trade apps between clients if you do not intend to distribute them on the App Store.
    this is all you do
    - Buy Mac Computer
    - Download xCode
    - Make Apps
    - Then distribute privately via email or an online app sharing tool.
I would assume that you would know the clients in person so you could just load the apps for them onto thier devices and the collect the money they owe after everything works well
    Just to clarify for you:
The paid iOS subscription is to distribuate apps on the App Store.
Apple does not handle private dealings thats all on you.
    hope this helps you!
    best of luck
