What NI drivers do I need to run Lion Precision's Spindle Analyser?

The Lion Precision Spindle Analyser program will not communication correctly with the acquisition module, and I was told that this was because I didn't have the correct NI drivers. Does anyone know which drivers I need and where I can find them?

You need to install the latest NI-DAQ driver. You can also find the E Series User manuals on NI's web site.

As long as the charger is rated for at least 10 watts or 2 amps it well charge the iPad just fine. A higher rated charger such as the 12 watt 2.4 amp charger will also charge the iPad, possibly a little faster, but it will not damage it. Chargers rated at 5 watts or 1 amp may charge an iPad very slowly if not at all.
Just be aware some cheaper dual port USB chargers share the 2 amps. It will charge an iPad in one port but adding another will reduce the current to both ports to 1 amp. An iPhone may charge fine but the power would be reduced to the lower level and slow an iPad charging on the other port. The one you link to will work fine although it looks as though one port is 5 watt/1 amp and the other is 10 watt/2 amp. There are many adapter's available that will supply 10 or 12 watts to both ports to future proof the charger giving you the capability to charge 2 iPads or other more demanding smart phones with larger batteries. I like Scosche reVolt chargers, they cost a little more but they are a quality product. If you want the best option go with a 12 watt charger which can speed up charging on many products a little more than a 10 watt can.

X240 Clean install, what software/drivers do I need and battery isn't being reported

Hi I've just bought a refurbished X240 which has has been wiped with no recovery partition, so I've installed windows 8.1 from a bootable usb that I made which has installed ok etc.
I then downloaded the SCCM pack and went through device manager to update what I could and everything seems to be working as it should except only the internal battery seems to be reported by windows, whether the external battery is plugged in or not the battery percentage and time left etc stays the same.
So I wasn't sure if some of the Lenovo software I've seen on the downloads page would solve it but I'm not sure.
Also I'm not sure what software/utilities I need or are worth downloading like the lenovo solution center etc as there are so many downloads in the X240 section.

You can use System Update to enumerate and download the appropriate packages for your system.
Personally, the barebones you need are Power Management driver, Hotkey Integrations package, and UltraNav drivers. Power Manager is nice too, but not strictly necessary.
All other drivers (graphics card, SATA controller, wireless card, etc.) you can grab from Lenovo or use (usually newer) generic ones.

I believe the top-level script our DBAs run is initjvm.sql. It's usually in <oracle home>\javavm\install. You might want to double-check to make sure this is the only thing you'll need.

Thank you for the replies. I have a 3.4 GHz i7 iMac running OS 10.7.5 and Adobe CS6, both as up to date as possible, but I still can't open .CR2 files from my 100D. I suspect that I would need to upgrade to OS 10.8 or later for ACR 7.4 to function, I just wondered if anyone else was in the same circumstance and had made things work. My problem is the network I'm on here at work is not very compatible with 10.8, otherwise I'd upgrade in a heartbeat! I'm not in a really Mac-friendly computing environment in some ways. I don't have the same problem at home on an older iMac running 10.8.

but I wouldn't just launch into this. I suspect your computer cannot run Snow Leopard as a major boot system. There may be virtualization options, but if you don't know how to partition a drive then 2 pages of instruction using command lines to achieve virtualization may take a bit of easing into. I haven't really gone into it myself, though I do recall discussions questioning legality.

I work in a Prepress Department and the only way to properly work with fonts in this enviroment is to have the bare minimum fonts necessary for an OS to run correctly which is usually around 30 or less fonts. Then we use suitcase to load fonts provided by customers and we know for sure we are using the exact fonts used to build the job say in Quark or Indesign. Before moving system fonts from Lion into a disabled folder I was hoping for a list of sysytem fonts that are absolutely needed to run Lion without issues.

Nothing wrong with the computer. Playback is dependent on the media and the drives.

I too am running xp spiii on my mac with lion. However I installed xp while running snow leopard then upgraded to lion and both are running fine. If you have the support disc that came with the imac all the relevant drivers are on there. The only other thing i would suggest is that you get spiii and upgrade to that.

Depending on the specific features that you think you need in a Virtual Machine, you should research the paid "Parallels" and "VMWare Fusion", and the free yet very capable "VirtualBox". I personally use VirtualBox because it does NOT include all of the Mac-to-VM interactivity features that the others do. For performance and security reasons, I specifically do not want my VM to be able to interact with my Mac OS host in any way other than copy and paste.
On your Windows VM, if you are running windows 8.1, and are not logged in as an administrator as your primary account, then the built in Windows Defender is a perfectly suitable for anti-malware protection. If you are running Windows 7 (or 8.1) and want additional protection I would recommend "BitDefender Free" as it has great protection yet has a very light-weight performance hit.

Need sound drivers for a Pavillion dv8309us running Windows 7 Enterprise 64-Bit OS. I'm getting "no audio output device is installed" error after trying various different drivers. Sometimes the driver will install and I'll reboot, but to no avail I end up with the same error and a red X over the speaker in the system tray. I've tried Realtek drivers and Conexant drivers from HP. When I run Windows upgrade advisor it recognizes the problem, but Microsoft doesn't offer a compatible driver. At this point I'm very desperate considering everything else works fine and I don't want to go back too XP Media Center. If there is anything you can do to help, it would be greatly appreciated. You're using the MS .NET Framework Provider for Oracle. You will need to install the Oracle client on each client machine using a Windows Form to access Oracle.
You will also need to include the MS .NET Framework Provider for Oracle. I can't remember if MS includes it with .NET Framework or not, however.
