What Operating systems does Teststand 1.01 require

Can anyone tell me what operating systems does Teststand 1.01 support

Hi paddyone,
Wow, that goes back a few years...
From the MS-Windows point of view, I think that Win-95 & Win-98 were supported.
It may work with later Windows versions as well.
Have a look at the registration card.  I work with ver 3.1 at the moment, and the info says:
"Windows 2000/NT/ME/9X"..  although I use Win-XP..
I think there are older machines running ver 1.x, and they are still Win-98 machines..
Hope this helps,
JLV

  • What Operating Systems does...

What Operating Systems does java run on ? I have been looking about for some sort of list but couldnt find one. It is just out of interest.
Does anyone have any idea ?
    Thanks :)

    just kidding
java is platform independent, meaning compiled once,
runs everywhereJava runs where there's a JVM available. That's the practical limit to anywhere. You also must make sure all the JDK's you've used are available. For example if you have used Java3D it will limit you to just a fraction of the otherwise available platforms.
This is a list of platforms where SWT (an alternative to Swing) is available. So Java is available on these platforms and maybe a few odd more,
    Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
    Linux (x86/Motif)
    Linux (x86/GTK 2)
    Solaris 8 (SPARC/Motif)
    QNX (x86/Photon)
    AIX (PPC/Motif)
    HP-UX (HP9000/Motif)
    Mac OSX (Mac/Carbon)

What operating system does my Kindle Fire use?

I really wish retailers would tell people this BEFORE they buy a Kindle:
It's Android and there is, unfortunately no Flash Player for it
Adobe stopped ALL development of Flash for Android last year.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
There are older versions of Flash Player (for Android) at that link, but there are no guarantees any of them will work.
    See also: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1061194
I've read a lot about "Dolphin" for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.mgeek.TunnyBrowser
I'm not an Android user (no tablet or phone) so I can't make any endorsements that would hold any credibility, but most of the Flash solutions I've read point to Dolphin as the best alternative.
Check the Android forums: http://androidforums.com/ to see what their "gurus" recommend.

    Josejanko,
You don't supply much info other than your machine is old, so here is some info for you to check thru.
Before doing anything you should have a back up, preferably 2, in the event something goes wrong.
You would have to start by upgrading to Snow Leopard, you would need to buy the disk for about $20 here  http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
Check the the requirements to see if your machine meets them.
You would then need to run the 10.6.8 v1.1 combo update to get it to 10.6.8 Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
You can then access the APP STORE and possibly upgrade to to further OSX.
You may have applications that will not be compatible with any thing past Snow Leopard, you can check those here Upgrading to 10.7 and above, don't forget Rosetta!
    http://roaringapps.com/apps
Office 2008 will not work with anything newer than Snow Leopard for an wxample
You may be able to upgrade to Lion or MT Lion or Yosemite, depending on your machine, from the APP STORE.
OS X Lion - Technical Specifications Lion
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion Mountain Lion
    http://www.apple.com/osx/how-to-upgrade/ Yosemite
    Hope this helps you

Just to avoid confusion - during provisioning, the phone is downloading a configuration from remote server. Phone is client. Provisioning process require a server (HTTP or FTP or TFTP) running somewhere.
You are speaking about browser, not server, so it seems you are speaking about manual configuration of phone, not the provisioning. Even in the case you are speaking about server, you speaking about upgrade of OS, not the provisioning (HTTP/FTP/TFTP) server software. On the other side, you are speaking about "initial profile downloads from Windows 7" asking about browser versions. I'm confused. Can you explain what are you trying to do in more details ?
Something like: "I did A, expecting B as result but C happened".
Debug/log from phone device and/or catched communication between browser and phone and/or phone and provisioning server may help to analyze the problem.

Leopard is no longer available at the Apple Store but may be available by calling Apple Phone Sales @ 1-800-MY-APPLE (1-800-692-7753).
If you can't obtain a retail install DVD from Apple, look on eBay or Google the installer part numbers to possibly find at an on-line store. Here's what to look for:
    MB427Z/A  Leopard 10.5.1 install DVD
    MB576Z/A  Leopard 10.5.4 install DVD
MB021Z/A  Leopard 10.5.6 install DVD (single user)

The DVD should look like this
Caution - Leopard does not support classic mode. So, if you currently open OS 9 apps in classic mode, you won't be able to do this if you upgrade to Leopard.

  • I keep getting this error message "Your operating system does not support the 64-bit version of Silverlight" even though I have a 64 bit system?

Netflix requires Microsoft Silverlight plug in to view their videos. Every time I try to load it I get the following error message...Your operating system does not support the 64-bit version of Silverlight. I have a 64bit system with Windows Vista Home Premium. Firefox 33.0 is installed.
    Any suggestions?

    Your User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.0; '''WOW64'''; rv:33.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/33.0
As said Firefox for Windows from mozilla.org is a 32-bit application. The WOW64 in UA means it is a 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows.
Before you ask if there will be a Win64 version of Firefox. If all goes well the first phase of having Win64 for Release may be as early as Firefox 37.0

If you are running 10.6.8 you can download 10.9 from the App Store and install it with going through 10.7 and 10.8 first. 10.9 Mavericks is a free download in the App Store.
10.9 Mavericks will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.
As for third party programs see this list for compatibility with 10.9 http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
Also Mavericks doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Mavericks.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.

  • Inst-08072 operating system does not support ipv4

While installing obiee 11g, I get "inst-08072 operating system does not support ipv4" error. I changed hosts file and defined a loopback adapter.
But still it is not working. Do you have any supposal for the problem?

what is your OS? which version of OBIEE are you trying to install? did you install loopback adapter? generally this will occur in 2 cases which i have seen personally, if the right  loopback adapter is not installed or not configured and hosts files is not configured properly. i would suggest you to re-visit them once again and see.
you can also try to install loopback adapter from here https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708322(v=ws.10).aspx  for configuration follow this https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc708341(v=ws.10).aspx
how does your hosts file look? can you paste the contents here for eg: xxx.xxx.xx.xxx hostname localhost
