Hi,
As I know, it is not a actual account but a Nvidias own way of somehow looking for updates something like that, please refer to the following link, geneally we just Uninstall Nvidia Update in control panel\Program and Features, try
and check if you can regain the admin right.

Hi,
You can use the "DBA_SYS_PRIVS" data dictionary view to see a user's system privileges.
You can use the "DBA_ROLE_PRIVS" data dictionary view to see a user's roles by filtering on the "GRANTEE" column.
Finally, you can see what direct grants a user has on tables, views, packages, types, procedures, functions, etc. with "DBA_TAB_PRIVS"...
Hope this helps...

• What is postgres_real and who are the users _teamsse _devicem

I have an iMac 27" (late 2013) running OSX Mavericks
Looking at the Activity Monitor I note the process postgres_real is sending a lot of bytes over the network. There are multiple instances of this process. One instance is owned by _teamsse, another is _devicem. Another instance of postgres_real is owned by _calendra.
I know that postgres_real is a database program, but why is in running on my iMac and sending bytes over the network?
Who are the users _teamsse, _devicem and _calendra and what systems are they associated with?
Is there a chance my activity is being reported to Apple or some other enity?
Is there any documentation you would recomend so I can figure these things out myself.
Thanks.

• User XYZ has no authorization for tp command IMPORT

Dear friends,
We have several users who are facing the issue while importing TR in QA system from DEV system. We have checked with the users by assigning them SAP_ALL and even then they are facing same issue. Could you please help us in this ? I have attached screenshot of the error. We are using Solman for transports.
Thanks
Gaurav

I suggest extra troubleshooting:
- does this happen for all users, or only one? Who are the users for which it works? what is different about them?
- note that SAP_ALL is famous for not including "all" authorizations, especially some RFC related auths such as S_RFCACL (unless you specifically switch that on) and these RFC failures rarely appear in traces (but they do appear in SM21 sometimes). also, unless you are consistent with regenerating SAP_ALL after installing support packs it will get out of date and not contain everything.
- have you checked TMS logs on operating system as advised by the error message? Those logs usually have extra details. you can probably read them yourself with AL11.
- have the generated RFC destinations used by TMS been altered? You first need to identify the RFCs within STMS then go into SM59 and look at them. They should not be using "current user" authentication, because tp should be run by the sidadm or sapservice users on the OS. Maybe basis has altered those RFC.
let us know what you find.
UPDATE:
thinking about this further.
I bet you are hitting S_RFCACL errors. Give the user SAP_ALL plus a dummy role having S_RFCACL and try. Activate a trace. If I'm right, you will see the S_RFCACL proper value needed in a role. compare that to a user for whom it works. Bet it's something like that. Might as well add several S_RFC* authorizations to the dummy role too.

It seems that many (if not all) of my files have been replaced by older versions. I can find the multiple version including the most recent version using the Search, however, they show up in the same directory even though Finder only shows a single copy. I am able to save and then overwrite in order to restore but this is strange. There is no chance that another user here has done any sort of system restore action (at least intentionally).

I can find the multiple version including the most recent version using the Search, however, they show up in the same directory even though Finder only shows a single copy.
In a OS Extended (HFS) file system there is no way you can have two files with identical names in the same directory.
Of course who knows what spotlight is thinking of most of the time when it does its stupid searches (get Find any File instead) and lists its results? Are you sure it is listing the same directory or do you have a backup and it is finding it there and you aren't noticing it is two different volumes?
You could also try reindixing the volume. Add it to the Spotlight system preferences Privacy and then remove it.

• What about a Windows limited user ?

Hello everybody,
I saw that the ODBC driver is installed on a path containing the name of the Windows user who installed it.
I should like to verify one thing : can it be installed by a limited user ? If not, does the limited user use it in the path that was given for the administrator ?
This morning I wrote a question in another forum to know how to get the installation path from a script. I wonder whether I should have precised this question according to what I just asked above.

The problem also exists with the newer Firefox 4.0.1 and Java 1.6.0_25 versions.
Enabling administrative rights resolves the issue ... though this defeats the purpose of using a limited user.
The underlying bug appears to be in the Firefox java plugin detection code. The issue is related to the detection code requiring write access to the HKLM\SOFTWARE\mozilla.org windows registry key. The limited user only has read access for this registry key. The behaviour was identified using the Sysinternals ProcessMonitor utility ... showed firefox calling an interface to create the registry key and getting an access denied response in the limited user case.
A more targeted workaround for the issue is to grant the limited user write access on the HKLM\SOFTWARE\mozilla.org windows registry key. This avoids the need to grant administrative rights to the user and enables the java plugin to be detected. That is, it works on the 2 XP systems where the java plugin wasn't being detected in limited user accounts.

• Guys, every time I download app on iPhone, i get message that "your user id has been disabled''

guys, every time I download app on iPhone, i get message that "your user id has been disabled'

That is exactly what happened to me! I wrote to Apple and they informed me that my account had been disabled because somebody had made a complaint that their credit card had been used to buy stuff on my account without their consent thus my account was disabled and it was a permanant thing. They suggested I set up a new Id, explained I could still use my apps but would not be able to update them. I wrote back to them explaining that there was no way I would have done such a thing, that I felt that I was being penalised over something I had not control over and I had bought my apps in good faith expecting to be able to update them as required. I also pointed out that a little while ago I found that my account had suddenly changed to a USA based one so that I had reset it and the password along with the credit card attached to it. I didn't really think much about it but now I wonder if I had been hacked.
I did get a very nice email back saying that they would investigate but having waited a few days I just got an email from a supervisor saying they had closed the account, there would be no further information given and I could look at their terms and conditions. I haven't been even been told what apps were supposedly bought through my account to see if there has been a genuine mix-up with credit cards through the banking system. I feel somewhat besmirched by the whole affair; I would never do anything illegal or misuse my account but despite being a loyal Apple customer who has promoted their products at every given opportunity, both professionally and socially, I have been summararily dismissed without being given the chance to defend myself or my reputation.

• Multiple users logged into one server, each users printer has a different name, application needs ONE name to print to.

Multiple users logged into one server, each users printer has a different name, application needs ONE name to print to.
I'm NOT in any way a Terminal Services expert and I need help trying to get an application program working in a multi-user environment.
The issue is that the printer changes for every user that is logged in. The application needs to print NOT to the default printer, but to a "special" printer which is selected in the application... let's call it a label printer to simplify the explanation.
You have your default regular printer, easy for the application to find that one, and then you have a special printer that labels get printed onto. The application needs to know what printer is the label printer. So we allow the user to select that in the
application and the selection is stored in a config file in
C:\ProgramData\mfgr\prog\setting files
I don't have access to the application so I can't change how this works.
In the "regular" world, selecting the label printer driver to use should be per machine, NOT per user. When a new user logs into a machine, the physical printer doesn't go "poof" and a new printer suddenly appear. Same printer for all
users.
Yet in terminal services, the physical machine is "merged" with the virtual machine on the server. And there can be many users logged in at the same time. So each users real machine (and real printer) is injected into the "fake" terminal
services machine. The name of the printers is made unique for each user. So the printers DO go "poof" and change names depending on the user logged into terminal services.
So user "A" logs in and sets up the application to print to "LabelPrinterForUserA" (or whatever the name of the printer happens to be), that setting is stored in the ProgramData subfolder, and all is well. Later, user "B" logs
in, and when they print, the application tries to print to "LabelPrinterForUserA" which doesn't exist for user B or is only accessible by user A. If user B re-configures, that breaks it for user A.
SOLUTION 1: The way that /should/ work (in my mind) is that you define one "generic" printer in Terminal Services... call it "Virtual Label printer" and when the user wants to print to it, the print job gets re-directed back to whatever
physical printer is actually connected to their local workstation. There is a map of virtual printer to actual printer depending on the current user. The application is told once to print to "Virtual Label Printer" for all users.
SOLUTION 2: Or... there should be some way to make the ProgramData sub folders separate per user. E.g. when user "A" tries to access:
C:\ProgramData\mfgr\prog\setting files
they actually get
C:\UserData\UserA\AppData\mfgr\prog\setting files
and user "B" gets
C:\UserData\UserB\AppData\mfgr\prog\setting files
So the question I have is: Does either of those solutions exist hidden somewhere in the setup of terminal server? Or is there another way around this issue that I don't know?

I don't really have a "for sure" answer to this, but because people here can't seem to deal with a question that hasn't been answered I'll provide the best answer I did receive from ServerFault.com user Nathan:
I can feel your pain with using old software on terminal servers ...the solution I've come up with definitely won't scale as it requires some manual configuration, but I've gotten this method to work with our label printers (which require to be
printed to an LPT port...yep, that old).
Share your USB-connected printers to the network on each machine. Then, have the user log in on aunique session for each of them
(a TS account cannot be shared among computers for this to work) and install a network printer pointing to the USB one they shared. Try to use a DNS name to account for possible DHCP movements.
After, it should work. Each user can do this since display names can be identical as long as the ports are different (which they are).
This was clarified by the following series of comments:
I think you are on to something here, and I originally advised the admin to do this. The problem he ran into is that it setup the printer names in the TS as "printer on usersworkstation"
and he could not rename it except to change the "printer" to whatever. E.g. the "on userworkstation" remained. I believe there is another way of installing the printer which avoids this, but I can't find it. Ages ago, one used to do NET

@JamesNewton That's actually the exact method we used. The way around the "network printer" part is to install it as local printer and map it to a TCP/IP port that way. – Nathan

You mean in the case where the printers are TCP/IP connected and not local USB / LPT to the users workstation? That makes sense. Wonder if this will work for USB connected printers... – James

@JamesNewton You'd share the local printer on the client's PC then on the server connect via TCP/IP to it. You'd need static addresses or use DNS names if DHCP, though. – Nathan

Ah. Yes. I see. Looks like the LPT thing should work even with a USB connected printer:superuser.com/questions/182655/… – James

• How to find out what t-code(s) a user executes most?

Can anybody tell me how I can find out what transaction(s) a given user executes most from the all the transactions that given user has access to? For example if a user has access to 100 t-codes, but only uses 10 of them then, how can I find out that the user never executes rest of the 90 t-codes? Is there a report I can run to find out. Please help.

Hi Amit,
STAD is giving me nothing, even though I chose the date 05/03/2007. I also selected both radio buttons at the bottom. Here's message I am getting "No statistical record for any server found with given criteria"

• I have purchased a from within an app. I submit my password for the app, and then my Apple ID. I then get the following messages "Regrant failure _ please log in with the same user that has bought this app" and that is followed by "cant conn with IT _

I have purchased an item from within the app PocketBible on my iPad. However when I try to download it I am asked for my app User Name and Password and then my Apple ID and password. I give both of these. I then get a message which says Regrant failure - Please log in with the same user that has bought the app. That is then followed by Pocket Bible Alert - cannot connect to iTunes Store.
Anybody got any ideas, both what the 1st alert means and how I get round the problem please.

I had the same problem. My wife had the PocketBible on her Ipad 2 and she transferred ownership to me. I had to delete the app and reinstall it from the App store(logged in with my apple ID) and its working without a problem. I do not get those error messages when I attempt to Buy/Upgrade or Add/Remove books.

• External LDAP user only has search priviledge in UCM

After I have configed external LDAP successfully in weblogic console, I can see all user from external LDAP. And external LDAP user can login UCM successfully, but these users only has search priviledge. I want external LDAP user has Admin priviledge as weblogic(Default in embed LDAP). How to solve it. Any help will be appreciated greatly! Otherwise, I refer to Oracle's ducument,
51.1.14 LDAP Users Not Receiving Some Administrator Privileges
UCM inspects for the group "Administrators" on each user's login to grant UCM roles. If a user should have access to the UCM admin server, the UCM server requires that the user be a member in a group named "Administrators."
How to add external LDAP user to the group of Administrators.

Hi ,
You can use Credential Maps to be achieve the requirement:
Steps for the same are :
1. Login to UCM - Administration - Credential Maps .
2. Create the map name and the following mapping :
<ldap role> , admin
3. Save the changes
4. Navigate to <domain_home>/ucm/cs/data/providers/jpsuserprovider/provider.hda
add the following variable there :
ProviderCredentialsMap=<map name created in step 2>
5. Save the changes and restart ucm server .
After that login with the user who has the ldap role that is mapped in stpe 2 , this user will have the ucm admin role .
Hope this helps .

Firstly desktop intel would not work and gave me the error below, however a new entry appeared in my server dropdown with servername (.Net Portal) and after selecting this Desktop intell worked.
When I try to run designer I dont get the extra server in the dropdown nor does it connect when tryped manually and gives me the same error I was getting for desktop intel.
Im using enterprise authentication
Has anyone figured this out please?

The [repo_proxy 13] error seems to be a catch-all for BO in that I've worked with this software (XI R2) for 1 1/2 years now and each time I've encountered [repo_proxy 13] it has been for a different reason, thus, you're going to have to apply troubleshooting checks all over the place until you find the problem. In my particular case I just resolved my [repo_proxy 13] error I've been working on this week, and here was my scenario. Our server in the lab died due to a hard drive failure, so we cut our losses and installed a new & more powerful server. When the rebuild was done I could not connect from my laptop to the repository via Designer (good old [repo_proxy 13] error). After much angst, etc, etc I found out that the servers in the CMC (/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin/en/admin.cwrwere">http://<server>/businessobjects/enterprise115/admin/en/admin.cwrwere) were all down except for one (even though CCM showed all servers "up"). When I went to start the servers in the CMC I was prompted for an account, and no matter what account I tried it won't work. So I went back to the CCM servers and stopped them all, then changed the default account it was using from LocalSystem to the administrator account, restarted all servers in CCM, went back to CMC and noted that all servers were now up as well. Then I went back to my laptop and used Designer and was able to successfully log in. Thus, the end of my story, however, it seems that many [repo_proxy 13] errors have different beginning and endings. For instance, a year ago I had the same [repo_proxy 13] error and brought it to BO tech support. They determined that I had to uninstall my client from my laptop, clean out the registry for any references to BO keys, and remove the c:\program files \Business Objects folder, then reinstall, and sure enough it worked in that case, but not in this case when I tried it again. By digging deeper I found out the root cause to my current problem, and voila, I'm in!
Good luck!

Sorry, but the code I was receiving the error message for is essentially the same as the example in the note. Assumed people would have access to the note.
The statement is:
variable foo varchar2(20);
declare foo varchar2(20) := 'ken_foo';
begin
dbms_advisor.tune_mview(:foo,
'create materialized view ken_foo

--and trunc(sysdate) between paaf.effective_start_date and paaf.effective_end_date
and paaf.default_code_comb_id = gcc.code_combination_id');
end;
Per another forum the answer appears to be that sys didn’t have the advisor privilege.
Granted advisor to sys and ran the statement again as soauser and no error.
Thanks
