What Order Does iPod Display!?

My mini is driving me crazy. I like to listen to Bible studies when I am going to sleep. I need to listen to the sermons in order. But my iPod keeps listing the files BACKWARD! On iTunes, I set the playlist to display exactly how I want them to play. On the mini-backward. I set the track numbers in proper sequence-backward. What is the mini using as a sort criteria? Certainly not the name of the song. I looked in my song list on another playlist and it is all random and not listed in any particular order.
Can someone tell me by what criteria the iPod Mini uses to sort with? What takes priority? Why would it be listed backward through my tracks?
My iPod Mini has the latest software update.

Yes, I have one playlist that reads "Bible Study" and I want to sort the tracks within it.
Job 1-4
Job 5-6
Job 7-10
etc.

Please fix this bug. Have the playlist list by how we set it in iTunes. This includes regular playlists AND smartplaylists. If on iTunes it lists in track order, so be it. If it lists in alphabetical song name order, so be it. If random is turned on in the playlist, have it list randomly.
Shouldn't this be how it properly operates? Thanks! BTW I have an Intel iMac.

Yes when you first set up the account or when you first add a device to the cloud, if it is not the first time, it will merge with the other data

By default it merges. There is no option to change this.
What happens to the information on the second device that is not in the cloud?
It will sync at the next sync interval if that data is selected to sync.

It resolved the entry the next time the first and second device syncs. Can you elaborate on the second part of this question?

I know that this search displays the results by app. But within the app how are the results displayed? For example, if I typed in ok, and all my text messages that have the word ok in them pop up what order are those in if any?
Also, does anybody konw exactly how long deleted messages will appear in the spotlight search? Or how far back the search goes?

I can't be certain but they appear to be in reverse chronological order.
Old messages will appear unti lthe cache gets written over (or is deleted by restoring the phone as new).

I have a full browser image which is the first thing you see when you go to my site, I have chosen to “exclude page from the menu. It contains a “ENTER” link that takes you to the site content with navigation bar, it also contains only the Name and Address as far as text. My question is, what does google display, the “ENTER” browser page information or the content you are taken to in the first page (Home) with the navigation bar and the rest of content pages,” I am very confused about this. My concern is about ranking and what people will see when they search using keywords etc., to find me displayed in google. Will they only see the “ENTER” browser page information or the first page (Home) and that content to direct people to my site?
Should I include the browser enter image in the navigation bar as first page?
Also, the first item in the navigation bar says WELCOME, do I have to change that to HOME? Would much appreciate help with this as I am ready to take my site Live.

Yeah, I know 'what' you were doing just curious as to 'why' you have to have it set up like that. What it is called is a Splash Page. These are very rarely done any more. Yes, it is still your index page and yes it will definately hurt your Search Engine Rankings and depending on load time cost you viewers as well. It will almost always cost you repeat visits if the user always has to click twice to get to your content. Especially if they are on a slow connection and have to wait for a graphic to load before they can even get into the site.
If your Enter button is in the graphic search engines may not see your other pages at all. So unless the Splash Page has a specific purpose such as an age verification form before entering it is best not having it if repeat visitors and SEO is important to you. If you search for 'Splash Page SEO' in Google you will find lots of information on this. But this is a design strategy and totally up to your preference.
To answer your original question yes it is your index and yes it can hurt search rankings.

What file does ipod use for library and how do i access it?

I almost put this in the ipod discussion but the question has to do with itunes as well...
I have learned that itunes uses an xml file for the library, containing all song information and playlists (not sure about id3 tags for .wav, mp3) but when i looked at my data for the ipod i found no .xml files.
Heres what happened and why i need this:
unplugged the ipod after an osx reboot to winxp bootcamp hung. then i noticed the ipod was erased (or so i thought)
Couldn't access any of the data on the ipod and hadnt a spare 80 gigs to back up my ipod.
I didn't give up and after trying so many data recovery programs i got one to work and now i have what looks like all the songs back - with song titles and filenames - on my comp.
I want my library back too. I want my hard wrought playlists and i want to know what songs i may be missing; I need to rebuild my 'library'.
with the data i retrieved there is a folder called root, and if you follow and go to ipod control>Itunes there are a bunch of temp files and a large file called ipodcontrol and a couple files called playlist but those two were umm, empty. I dont know what any of this stuff is but if i knew how the ipod makes its library that would be a start in seeing if i can somehow get the library back. I know there is a way. I also am sure there are tons of people out there whose tracks have been erased after an auto update or unplug. You can get your music back! It would be so sweet to figure out how to reconstruct the library file too.

I forgot to mention that for you people who have inadvertently erased your ipods, the data recovery program that worked the best for me was called R-Studio.
So anyone know what file ipod uses for its internal library?

In What Order Does OC4J starts Modules contained in Application?

I would like to know if it is possible to choose the order in which EJB & Web modules are started.
As a matter of fact, I need some Web modules to be started prior to some other Ejb modules. All are deployed in a single application.
I though the startup order would be the same as the deployment order, driven by 'application.xml', but after testing, it does not seem to be the case
I am using oc4j version 10.1.3.2

Thanks for that. Your replies, some trial and error and reading the Ligthroom SDK Manual means I'm starting to understand it.
I think some of my confusion comes from the layout of the modules in the "Export Screen"
All the Ligthtroom ones are ABOVE all the LR2 Mogrify ones
which of course suggests that the Lightroom bits get executed before the Mogrify ones.
For Export actions that's not too bad, but for Post-process actions it would be nice if the mogrify ones were ABOVE the Lightroom ones.
Ideally interelave the modules into the correct order!
I realise from a S/W development perspective this might be impossible.
An alternative might be to re-inforce the "order of execution" in both the Users Guide and the SDK manual, and perhpas a one-line note on the Export page itself.

MD01 - in what order does the MRP run pick its materials to plan

I would like to know how the MRP global run (MD01or inthe background) picks the sequence of its materials?
Is it by order of material number? first number first run? or is there anyother logic?

Materials may appear in several products and in several production levels of a product. The low-level code represents the
lowest level of usage of a material within all product structures.
It determines the sequence in which the materials are planned. The system plans materials with the low-level code 0 first and
then those with 1 and so on. The lower the low-level code is, the higher the number assigned to the level.

Hi! I just received my new 80gb iPod today and it came in an iPod box, and it's very secure in the package. I had no problems with the way Apple packages the iPods.
I'd hope if your ipod came broken Apple would either exchange or refund the item.

When you restore via iTunes iTunes will download the firmware(ipsw) file. It could be that the microwave damaged the iPod and iTunes does not know what it is.

I defined our own billing schema :

Normally when you sync your device it is automatically backed up to your computer as the first step in the sync process. When you choose to start backing up your device to iCloud, iTunes stops automatically backing it up on your computer when you sync. That's what the message is telling your; that you are now backing up to iCloud and not to your computer each time you sync. You can still manually back up to your computer any time you want by going to the Summary tab and clicking on Back Up Now under Manually Back Up and Restore.
You can still sync your device as you did before, it just will no longer back up automatically when you do.

My IPhone 4's mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. What is wrong with it?

My work recently decided to buy every full time employee an IPhone 4 to be used for work purposes. (I do suspect these are refurbished, but I don't think that matters) I have had no trouble with it, except for on occasion the mailing feature does not display the toolbar at the bottom for deleting, moving, or writing emails. You know what I'm talking about...that bar at the bottom of the mailbox when you open an email that you use to delete, respond, forward, move, etc. It just goes away for no reason, and then reappears for a day or two, and goes away again. It is quite annoying since I can't respond to any of my emails without getting on my work computer. If you have any suggestions, please help!
