What parameters must be set when AUTO_CONFIGURATION = NO

Hi,
I'm using ODI for CDC (Oracle 10g Consistent (LOGMINER)) and one of the notes says "in a production environment a DBA should set these parameters rather than letting ODI automatically set them". I would like to use AUTO_CONFIGURATION=NO so this means that the parameters must be set manually.
My question is: do one know which parameters must be set manually?

Exception: Cluster address must be set when clustering is enabled

Hi,
I've created a simple web service and deployed to a cluster. When i invoke the WSDL url (http://localhost/webservice/MyService?WSDL) through the browser i get the enclosed exception (listed at the bottom)
I can easily solve this issue by explicitly stating a cluster address witihin the admin console ( Environment->Clusters->Cluster Address:), however the documentation states that i do not need to do this. ( http://edocs.bea.com/wls/docs100/webserv/setenv.html#wp220521 )
Can someone clarify that indeed I need to explicitly declare a Cluster Address when deploying and invoking web services within a clustered environment.

Hi,
You will have to specify the address for the cluster to get this work. This was done because if cluster address is not specified, there were other issues that popped up.

What CDE parameters must be set for LabVIEW 6i Sun?

We are running LabVIEW 6i Sun using the Common Desktop Environment (CDE). We are unable to bring windows to front reliably, either through LabVIEW property nodes, the "Window" front panel pulldown menu, or by clicking an inactive window with the mouse. We suspect a CDE windowing parameter is not set properly. Any suggestions?

CDE is a window manager that runs on top of X. X is dumb and requires a Window Manager such as CDE (others include tvm, olvm, olwm, fvwm, and many more) - maybe you can try another window manager? I think Sun used to allow you to change the window manager, but I have not used it for a while.
Can you reproduce this problem on multiple machines with a fixed pattern that always produces the error? If so, we would look at it ([email protected]) if you get all the version numbers (Solaris, CDE, X, and so forth), attach the VI and any instructions to reproduce this issue. The more details the better, it makes it easier for us to reproduce.

When working with aRGB images, what changes must be made when printing?

Working in the Adobe RGB color space requires that all components in the chain (camera, software, monitor, printer) be able to handle aRGB. When printing from Photoshop Elements, what changes (if any) need to be made at printing time?

I knew about the "more options" dialog box and use it regularly to set
ICC profiles for my Canon Pro9500 Mark II printer, ensuring also that
"Photoshop Elements manages colors". I could have asked the question
better perhaps: "When working with aRGB images, how can I set both an
ICC printer profile for a specific paper and ensure that printer uses
the aRGB color space?". As far as I can tell, you can set an aRGB
profile (either in Photoshop or at the level of the printer), but you
can't use both the aRGB profile and an ICC paper profile at the same
time. I am assuming that you can't set an ICC profile for the paper in
Photoshop Elements and at the same time use the printer's aRGB driver.
Is that right?

If you are on the trial version (assuming this is CC7) drag a clip from the Project window into the New Item Icon (lower right bottom of the window)

You just need to monitor your list of cookies before and after visiting the site. Of course, it is probably easiest to delete all cookies before performing the experiment.
Safari > Preferences > Privacy is where you can get access to all stored cookies.
And, yes, the cookie thing is a design decision, not mandatory.
