What port is used by Groupware connector to communicate with SAP CRM?

Hi!
I've been trying to find what port is used by groupware connector when it is communicating with SAP CRM, but all I've found is that is uses SOAP over HTTP.
Our security team only wants to open the relevant port and I haven't found the port....
Does anybody know what port is used?
Thanks!

What gives you an impression that a seperate program is called to write file at OS level.....it could be the program running behind the F110.....try checking the same...and look for GUI_DOWNLOAD in the program.

  • HT6160 What ports are used for Apple Configurator to function with IPads?

Need to know what ports need to be allowed for Apple Configurator to function.

Apple Configurator runs locally on an OS X computer. It requires a USB connection. So no ports required for connecting Configurator to iPads.
However, there are some ports that need to be opened for iPads to work with Apple's server if you are behind a firewall. Here is a list of known TCP and UDP ports used by Apple software products: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6175?viewlocale=en_US
To use iPads behind a firewall (Configurator or not), you'll want to definitely open 5223 for Apple Push Notification and the standard ports for HTTP/HTTPS (80 and 443). If you're using an MDM, you will likely need to open 2195 and 2196 as well.  If you still have issues port watch and see what an iPad does when trying to get to the store.
    Hope this answers your question!

  • Which Port used by Integration Builder to communicate with JMS service

    Hi,
Anybody know which port that used by Integration builder to communicate with JMS service in XI server in order to activate changes list.
    Thank you and Regards
    Fernand

The main cause is not the communication problem between Integration builder and JMS provider but the inconsistent SLD contents.
Now i can activate my object in the integration builder. see SAP Notes 764176

What ports are used by itunes Match? I need to change my router settings.

Good question. The standard document is still mentioning MobileMe, rather than iCloud.

  • Use of webservices in place Jco to communicate with SAP

I want to use Web servives instead of using Jco or some other approches to communicate with SAP back end...
And the version we are using is ecc 6.0
pls give me some web service example
i want to test with simple BAPI. BAPI_COMPANY_GETLIST.
    regards,
    rahul

    Hi,
    Start process in se37
Select the package in which you create service for testing you can create web ervice as local object, but in real time you need to create in an actually assigned package.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/e9/ae1b9a5d2cef4ea4b579f19d902871/content.htm
    Look at link above.
Choose your function module which is specified by you.
Utilities ->More Utilities >Create Web Service > From the Function Module do this.
Refer below again for creating a virtual interface for your function module.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/76/249f02f5235b44b4dc6abbce35f44a/content.htm
Then create a web service definition.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/a0/da0710b6560a4e80fb94f3f712dfc0/content.htm
    Then release web service definition.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/13/bcd0f61583be4a9cd835918e5673e1/content.htm
With this you have created web service.
Now you need to follow link below to puclish and test web service
Right now you dont need to publish it in uddi.
you can call the web service as below

  • Can I use virtual bench to measure/communicate with other device by I2C etc?

    Hi,
Can I use vitrual bench to measure I2C/SPI/CAN by digital I/O or logic analyzer?
And is it possible using digital I/O to communicate with other device by I2C etc?
    Thanks,
    Jimmy

You might be able to get it to work (not sure how fast the DIO on the Virtual Bench can go), but for I2C, I would recommend using something that is actually meant for it, like the USB-8451 or USB-8452.

  • Database Link - What ports are used?

I am attempting to create a database link from a very locked down server (Database A) to Database B which is on my internal network.
Can someone tell me what ports I need to open in the firewall for a database link to work correctly? My Database B instance is a XE instance running on the default port 1521.
    Thanks,

Thanks,Hans and Devotee have given you the best info so far. I'd like to expand and clarify slightly on their comments.
There is really nothing special about a db-link. It is just another client process, being used by the 'client' database. It uses exactly the same networking pieces as does sqlplus on the same machine. All of the same considerations are there ... tnsnames.ora on the client machine matching up with the listener configuration on the target machine, listener ports, port redirection for establishing the actual server process, etc. I would start by getting a sqlplus connection working. When you have that, you know you have all of your network configuration issues resolved. At that point any issues you have with the dblink will be in the link definition itself.
And as Hans pointed out, databases don't run on port 1521. It is a conceptual mistake to think of the database as "running" on any port. By default the listener uses port 1521 to listen for connection requests. The database knows nothing about that. It is also very easy, and not that uncommon, to configure the listener to use another port instead of or in addition to 1521, so it is also a mistake to treat port 1521 as if it were some immutable value.

  • What ports are used for handshaking signals?

I want to use Handshaking Digital I/O on an AT-MIO-16DE-10, and I want to know if there are extra digital I/O lines used for this, or if there are independant handshaking connections. I can't seem to find any documentation which warns that you can only get 7 bits out of a port if you use handshaking. Or you can only use ports 2,3,4 because port 0 is used for the handshaking signals.
    Any hints would be appreciated.

Great, actually, I found this information, and would like to re state my question. Now that I know what ports I should be using (this is described in detail in the hardware manual for the E series), I would like to see some definite information about what I must do in my external device to make use of these signals.
I'm a little confused by some comments in the documentation that some of the facilities of Port C (on the 8255) are only avialable if I use register level commands (as if using the parallel port). If I use the DIG_Prt_Config and set to handshaking (input) on a port, then I assume I set up my external hardware as if Port C was in Mode 1(input), and then follow the timing described in the E Series manual.
    It's just a shame that everything o
n the PC side is well described, but there are no application notes that I can find about building an external device that can use the handshaking signals.
If 'you' (anyone) can confirm what my assumptions, or point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it greatly.
    Thank you.

  • What Ports are used by Wake on Lan?

Anybody know what UDP ports are used by ZFD's remote wakeup services?
We need to enable directed broadcasts on our network to get WOL to work
across our routers. However, directed broadcasts are quite popular with
denial-of-service attackers, so we'd like to limit them to certain UDP
    ports.
I believe that different WOL software products use different UDP ports
for their Magic Packets. But I can't find Novell's in any of the
    documentation...
    Thanks!

you could use something like Ethereal to check, but AFAICR it's 1765

  • What port is used?

    Hi,
I have remote sites connected back to our main office using Diginet leased lines. Traffic flow is managed using ACL's on the routers.
I have opened up ports 1761 and 1762 for TCP and UDP traffic.
Remote control from our main office to the remote site fails. Reason, we don't know what port is being used from the user's workstation to connect back to the remote operator's workstation. So far, using packet captures, it looks like a random port is being used.
This needs to be a fixed port number so that we can allow traffic to it in the ACL rules. ACL rules are not stateful so we need to know what port the user's PC is addressing traffic to on our side.
    Any ideas?
    Kind regards,
    Laura

    Hi,
Thanks - just confirmed what I thought! We have opened a new project to move all remote sites to stateful firewalls.
    Kind regards,
    LB

Yes, sorry, what you plan to do won't work. Stateful ACLs are a must.
And that's not limited to zen RC, but virtually all TCP traffic.

  • How to find what port is used by a process ?

    a) How can we find out if a port, say, '1525', is used by a process ?
How can we find out the process ID ?
    b) Given a process ID, can we find out what port(s) it is currrently
    using ?
Any Unix commands in 2.5.1-->8 ?
    thanks.

    Hi
The best bet for doing this is "lsof" utility that is a freeware which
    can be downloaded from http://www.sunfreeware.com.
You can map ports to process like this...
    <PRE>
    ./lsof -i tcp:23
COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE/OFF INODE NAME
inetd 152 root 5u inet 0xf596f638 0t0 TCP *:telnet (LISTEN)
    in.telnet 13164 root 0u inet 0xf605cc70 0t139 TCP collard:telnet->awe185-130.junk.COM:34412 (ESTABLISHED)
    in.telnet 13164 root 1u inet 0xf605cc70 0t139 TCP collard:telnet->awe185-130.junk.COM:34412 (ESTABLISHED)
    in.telnet 13164 root 2u inet 0xf605cc70 0t139 TCP collard:telnet->awe185-130.junk.COM:34412 (ESTABLISHED)

  • Use of Database  Studio Community Edition with SAP applications

I am using SAP ECC6.0 on MaxDB 7.6.04.012 running on Linux x86_64.
For database admin, and adhoc sql queries, I am currently using Database Studio 7.7.04.26, running on Windows XP.
I have had one or two issues with Database Studio, and I've been looking for a more recent version to Install.
There seems to be a more recent version in the Community Editions download area, but this says:
"This package is not for use with SAP applications. For that purpose, refer to the Download Area in the Service Marketplace"
I have not been able to find Database Studio as a separate download in the SSM Download area.
What is the reason for this comment about the Community Edition? Can I use this version of Database Studio? and if not, where can I get the equivalent for SAP applications?
    Thanks
    Chris

I installed MaxDM (32bit) and MaxDB Studio which I can open. And I habe also a connection to Max DB but I can´t see any application for examle. How can I find these applications. I hope there are one!?
Have you checked the documentation Demo Data for the SQL Tutorial ?
There is a demo schema available for MaxDB: the HOTEL schema.
It can be loaded to any MaxDB by running:
    load_tutorial
in dbmcli or via the context-menu (right-mouse-button) menu in DB Studio -> "Load Tutorial..."
After the tutorial is loaded you can logon via user "MONA" and password "RED".
