I'm gonna sell my iPhone4,,before wats the steps to be taken ?? i mean should i do RESET ALL in the settings,, if i do so? will all the contacts in my iphone ll b erased??

Using data deleting tools via the iOS software will NOT be enough to fully secure your iPhone. People have different perceptions on this topic, some may even argue with my point but I am a data privacy addict and have an obsession with ensuring my data is permanently deleted. My work phones contain a lot of confidential data so I have to ensure all data is properly destroyed. Hello,
You can change the query read mode in transaction 'RSRT', here are the steps:
1) Access transaction RSRT and enter the query name
2) Select the 'Properties' option
3) Un-check the 'Info provider' setting next to the 'Read mode' --> This enables you to change the read mode of the query --> Execute
4) Choose the option 'Generate Report' to re-generate the query program

Hi Hari,
that is completely depend on your Reporting requirement... how you want to generate your report.. on which object you want to analyse the report .... that object should be take in one dimension... based on that you need to design dimensions.. so, first of all every modelling is based on complete Report requirement..
Multiprovider means.. it just provide union operation only.. so, what are the fields you want .. those fileds only you can take from sources and based on your reporting requirement you can create dimensions..

The development phase has been completed, I would like to know what are the steps we need to follow when we are working with the quality system.
I have some doubts regarding this could any one give the inputs please.
1. Where should we create any Roles and Authorizations.Dev/QA/Prd
2. Where should we craete process Chains. Dev/QA/Prd.
3. Can I transport the queries without using Bex transport. What will happen If i dont use the Bex transport.

Hi Kumar,
your BW quality system will be connected to your R/3 Production system from where you'll extract the real time data and do testing which includes estimation of downtime in case of filling up of the set up tables and so on...
the most general procedure is to create the Roles and Authorizations in teh development system and then transport it across to production through your quality system...
Process chains you afford to create it directly in your production system itself... that's no big deal...
And of course, you'll have to transport the queries only using the BEx transport.. there's no other go for this as its the standard procedure given by SAP...

What do i do if while replacing my iphone 4s screen i lost one of the screws on the inside near the camera? am i okay without that screw or what should i do?

I was replacing my cracked screen on my iphone 4s and while unscrewing one of the screws it fell out and i cant find it. It was the upper screw near the camera on the EFM shield and antenna clip. I was wanting to know whether i would be okay without that screw or what i should do?

A couple of things I would suggest. If you have a friend with a broken iPhone of the same type, they might be willing to let you take it apart to get the missing screw. Or, if you bought the replacement screen from one of the reputable online sources (as opposed to some fly-by-night ebay vendor), then you might want to contact them and see if they will sell you the single screw for some minimal price.

Centralised Payment _ Precautions to be taken

Under One Company Code there are around 10 profit centers and right now all payments/receipts vendors/customers are being released/received from those profit centers only. HR is also implemented and HR postings are being made to those 10 profit centers and salary payable is released to different house banks situated in those 10 different areas at present. Similarly third party payments/Vendors are posted to 10 profit centers through HR. In order to have profit center wise postings from HR there is one user exit in HR. We are in ECC6. No APP is in use right now.
Now that it is decided to make payment centrally from one central office. All the House Bank GL Accounts have been allocated default profit centers pertaining to 10 different profit centers inluding that of central office house bank GLs(Chq Receipt, Issue, Wire T/f in, Wire T/f out & Main A/c) in fagl3keh.
In the above scenario, what precautions to be taken to have smooth centralised payment from one central office from one or two house banks instead of from 10 different profit centers. Receipts can be taken in 10 different profit centers into those house banks. I think even though Zero Balancing Account entries will be more there should not be any problem since vendor has already been assigned one profit center from HR different from that of central office.

Yes Arun You are right
But you can check with small amount of data also even in Develpoment.It will give you a rough estimate.
basically that transaction gives you the ratio of all the tables with respect to all the
data in the Cube it doesn't depend on how much data it contains.
So if the ratio of the table exceeds the limit ( I think it's 15 to 20 %) those dimension will show you up in red and you do not need to check it in production and you can check it with small amount of data.
Line items are defenately need to be taken care of and that depends upon the granularity of that particular object in the source system.

What are the things taken care while using multiple suites?

I have created a plugin which sends the current file path to an url,
its working fine with debugging in Visual studio 2005 and while it is added to the Adobe Illustrator its works only once.
That is its sending the file path only for one file. While i tried for the second time its not working
I am using following suits in my plugin
AIDocumentSuite
AIFilePathSuite
AIActionManagerSuite
AIUnicodeStringSuite
AIURLSuite
I am using the "AIURLSuite" for calling the url and it is calling the url multiple times while its used alone, and its only working once with the multiple suites.
What are the things taken care while using multiple suites? , is it neccessary to release all variables and the suites after completing the task?
Should they released in the same order in which they are acquired?

Hi,
The problem was with the "sAIDocument->GetDocumentModified(mod);"
The "GetDocumentModified" is crashing after executing once, i just removed that statement , and now
i am forcefully saving the document with out checking the modification status!
Its working fine now!
Could you please tell me how can we lock a plugin , or a particular function in a plugin.
There is any specific standard to use the GetDocumentModified function?

Precautions to be taken before going for new PR Release strategy

Dear all,
We are going to implement release strategy with classification at item level release. Current process in our company release strategy without classification at item level release was implemented and its Production for past 3 years.
Need your advice on
1)If we go for new release strategy as off with existing release strategy -what are the precautions to be taken before implementing new strategy - any problem will happen to existing data with old releases, which already release, yet to release?
2)Once after implementing the new releases, the PR with old release strategy (which is not release yet)u2026does this will trigger new release?
3)Any other which I missed out, please suggest me

Hi,
It is better to release all existing PRs using your current procedure without classificaton and clean up.
If you impliment procedure with classification, It depends on the parameters like Plant, value, purchasing group you are going to use in the strategy. Also you may decide whether to have overall req release or item level release of PR by having diffrent release groups.

We are in ECC6.0 Already FICO,MM,SD & HR are implemented. So naturally in Controlling we went for Cost Center Accounting and there are about 5,000 cost centers. Now we are going to implement PS. What are the precautions to be taken from FI side and from CO ange? In case of PS there will be WBS elements then what about these cost centers in CO and in HR. I am new to PS. Please clarify.

I am not discouraging anybody. Instead I am encouraging them to attend courses so that they can start the learning experience in a proper structured way. It is like basic education, we all go to school then university etc. Nobody gives you a job so that you can go to SDN and get your answers.
On another point you are absolutely correct - nobody can master entire SAP in one's lifetime. And again you are on the ball - one can specialise in one's field only. So you have chosen your field of specialisation HR or FI or whatever - obviously PS is not your chosen field - then why not get a PS consultant to fill the gap in the area you do not want to specialise, train or study.

Some actions taken while the account was offline Part 2

Some of us were getting this message with IMAP accounts: "Some actions taken while the account was offline could not be completed." with Leopard. Along with this, an email, usually too large to send, would keep saving itself in the drafts folder. The fix for this was to delete the OfflineCache folder in the IMAP folder. Well, we upgraded to Snow Leopard and now I am having the same thing happen. Except now, I dont get the message and the messages save to Recovered Messages. So I tried the old trick and that folder doesn't exist anymore. What do you guys suggest we do?

had this issue as well and am looking for an answer.

Some actions taken while account was offline in Lion

"Some actions taken while the account ... was offline could not be completed online." I have seen this message mentioned in Leopard and Snow Leopard. I never got it in that. I am getting it since Lion 10.7.4. About accounts that appeared to be online at the time. Moreover, there are messages that were sent, in that they show up in Sent mailbox, and in at least one case today I got a reply back, but here they are in the Recovered mailbox. So were they sent or not? Can I believe my Sent box or not? And what "actions" were "undone ... on some messages"? There is no list of that anywhere that I can see.
