I want to make something similar for my brother, but I have no idea which program was used to make this.
I have the full Adobe CS3 Suite on my computer, including After Effects. I use Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator regularly for my job.
I want to try to monkey around with the video software at an amateur level. But before I buy any tutorials, I need to know what program to buy the tutorial for!!

While the clip may not necessarily have been done in AE, you can achieve
these results. Careful masking along with good keyframing of the
movement properties will do it. There are other ways, but while this
might not be the fastest, would be the simplest and would provide a good
learning experience for someone starting out.

Is there a way to find out what computer was used to make an order

I found some charges on my account that I did not make assuming that it was either my 14 year old son or soon to be ex-husband, is there a way to tell what computer was used to make the order?

It's highly doubtful there's a general problem caused by that update, or the forums would be full of similar posts. More likely, it's specific to your setup somehow.
Have you Restarted your Mac lately? If not, that's always worth a try.

Does anyone know what software was used for Mac Welcome Video?

As you may remember when you turned your mac on for the first time, a ver neat welcome video played with upbeat music. Well I just wanted to know if anybody knew what program(s) was used to make it. If you know or have any idea please tell me. Thanks!

Hi and welcome to discussions. I tried to find something about it, but was not successful. I would guess though that this has been made using some of Apple's own software, everything else would not really make sense. And there actually is one tool in the portfolio capable of creating something like that: Motion. So, as an educated guess, I would say that's the one.

What brush was used to create this artwork?

I am not familiar with using brushes in illustrator. Just wondered where to start! Underdog

My guess is no brush was used to create the artwork. The original may have started out as vector artwork created with the Pen tool ( 1/2 Reflected ). Then, it was likely Exported as a .tiff to Photoshop where some Gaussian Blur and Noise fillters were applied. Where did you get the sample above? Is it vector or bitmap artwork?

I want to make a picture like these ones, but i dont know which tools to use. it seems they didnt use the pen tool at all, and i cant quite figure out how they did all the shadows and highlights. its seems they used the brush, but when i use the brush tool, i dont get the same clean results. any advice? any good tutorials that could help?

Adobe Illustrator is probably the best tool to do something like this. It's made by drawing a lot of shapes on a lot of layers. You can do this with the pen/brush tool in Flash, but they really aren't the best for drawing. Check out tv.adobe.com for some videos on Illustrator.

Firefox keeps asking me what program to use to open file types even though I have selected one and checked "do this for all files of this type" going foward

I am working in Windows and every time I open an attachment, Firefox asks what program to use to open files of this type. I always select the proper program and then check the box that says use this program for all future files of this type. In spite of that, the program continues to ask for every file. How do I turn off this feature and just have the program remember the correct program to use for each type of file extension?

Regardless of your download preferences, web servers can trigger a download prompt by sending either the ''Content-Type: application/octet-stream'' or the ''Content-Disposition: attachment'' header. If you are trying to activate an iPad or iPhone and it is asking for a previous owners Apple ID and password, you have encountered the Activation Lock. This is a security feature that prevents thieves from setting up and using a stolen or lost iPad or iPhone. You have no alternative. You must contact the previous owner to get permission to use the device. If you cannot contact the previous owner return the device to where you bought it and get a refund. You will never be able to activate the device and no one can help you do it.
