What rights does AD MP Run as account need on 2012R2 DC's?
Hi!
My AD-guy has installed new DC's running Windows server 2012R2, and now SCOM is having trouble monitoring AD, DNS and DHCP. I will now create an account to use in monitoring AD. My question is:
What rights does this Run as account need to successfully monitor 2012R2 DC's. In my environment use of Domain Admin is serverly restricted - do I really need domain admin rights to monitor an 2012R2.
I'm alos having touble using Local System with agents on 2012R2. Is there a restriction here? What rights should an action account have on 2012R2 servers? I get a lot of errors saying that teh agent need "rights to log on locally".
Any help apprecited.
Best regards Rune Haugen
Hi Rune,
Please look at these posts:

As well, check this post in case if your agents are installed manually:

I will start searching myself for info, but if anyone knows of a great strehouse of info on this matter, I would appreciate it.

FAQ: What OS does Photoshop Elements run on, or Will PSE run on my computer?
There are many different combinations of Photoshop Elements (PSE) and the Operating Systems (OS) it is supported on. Here is a table to help identify which versions of PSE are supported on which versions of Windows and Macintosh. By "supported", we mean that the application is designed and thoroughly tested to work on. Just because a platform is "unsupported" does not necessarily mean that it will not work. What it does mean is that you operate the application on that platform at your own risk. In most cases, a version of PSE is "unsupported" on a specific platform simply because it was released before that version of the OS.
The minimum system requirements (including supported platforms) for the current version of Photoshop Elements can be found here: http://www.adobe.com/sea/products/photoshop-elements/tech-specs.html
The minimum system requirements for all previous versions of Photoshop Elements can be found here:

For Premiere Elements System Requirements for versions 13 to 8 and the older versions, please see the Adobe Document
System requirements | Adobe Premiere Elements
Regarding what versions will or will not work on certain operating systems...I would question even your Photoshop Elements FAQ reference.
What Adobe has not tested is not the same the impression that the program does not work on a certain operating system it has designated as " - ".
I have not seen a Premiere Elements document comparable to this FAQ document that you present for Photoshop Elements.
I have found no problem installing and running Premiere Elements 4, 7, 8.0/8.0.1, 9.0/9.0.1, 10, 11, 12/12.1, 13/13.1 on Windows 7 Professional SP1 64 bit or Windows 8.1 64 bit.
The version updates, if available, should be used to give special obvious features as well as other less obvious ones.
In the case of the current version, Premiere Elements 13/13.1, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and OSX 10.7 are not supported. Interestingly, I have found that you can
download the Premiere Elements 13 tryout from Adobe to a Windows XP computer, but you cannot install it.
Also, on a comparative basis, Premiere Elements version 32 versus 64 bit application
Windows
Premiere Elements 10, 11, 12, and 13 are 64 bit applications only when they are specifically on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit computer.
Premiere Elements earlier then 10 are 32 bit applications whether they are run on Windows 32 bit computer or Windows 64 bit computer.
Mac
Premiere Elements 9 was the first version to be offered for Mac as well as Windows.
Premiere Elements Mac was not available as a 64 bit application until version 11 - and with Mac 64 processor.
Miscellaneous
Premiere Elements as a 32 bit application will block you from importing still images beyond a certain total pixel count.
Lots of other details, but let us start with these.
Please let us know if you need clarification on any of the above.

MD01 - in what order does the MRP run pick its materials to plan
Hello,
I would like to know how the MRP global run (MD01or inthe background) picks the sequence of its materials?
Is it by order of material number? first number first run? or is there anyother logic?
Thanks for any reply
AartDear Aart,
As well said by Dogboy49,the system plans the materials according to the low level code sequence.
Materials may appear in several products and in several production levels of a product. The low-level code represents the
lowest level of usage of a material within all product structures.
It determines the sequence in which the materials are planned. The system plans materials with the low-level code 0 first and
then those with 1 and so on. The lower the low-level code is, the higher the number assigned to the level.

What rights are required to connect to WSUS server usig console
Hi all,
I have a WSUS server installed and it is joined to a domain. Another user from domain needs to connect to this WSUS server using a WSUS Management console. What rights does this user needs to be given on WSUS server so that he would be able to connect to
server and be able to release patches?
Regards, Darshan G. ParabWhat rights does this user needs to be given on WSUS server so that he would be able to connect to server and be able to release patches?
The domain user should be added to the local WSUS Administrators group to be able to approve patches.
I would suggest creating a Domain Security Group, adding the domain account to the Domain Security Group, and then adding the Domain Security Group to the WSUS Administrators local group on the WSUS server. However, while this is a more conformant way to
configure the security, it also requires the user to logoff/logon (to get the domain group SID in the user's account token) and it requires the WSUS server to be restarted (to get the domain group SID in it's computer account token).
You may determine that adding the domain user direct to the group is a necessary short-term implementation, and defer the use of groups until such time as the WSUS server can be restarted (which, given that yesterday was Patch Tuesday, will probably be in
the next few days anyway).

3) Permissions and rights required for the Exchange 2013 run as account.
4) Permission and rights required for the AD run as account.
All the agents in our environment is running with Local system.Hi
in addition, it is good practice to install agent with Local Account and configure application specific account as run as account.

Run As Account does not exist on the target system or does not have enough permissions
We are getting below alerts,
Run As Account does not exist on the target system or does not have enough permissions.
I know we can create a Run As account with low Privilege can fix this issue ,
http://blogs.technet.com/b/kevinholman/archive/2010/09/08/configuring-run-as-accounts-and-profiles-in-r2-a-sql-management-pack-example.aspx
My question here is there is any other way to fix it. I tried giving below permission for scom_act account (we used for agent installation and has local admin rights) but still same issue and
also i tried with sysadmin access for scom_act as well but no luck still having same issue , any solution would be welcome

I've closed three credit card accounts and I'm paying off the balance on them What effect does that have on my credit score?
Don't think it will take a hit right now. It stays on your report for 10 years after you close it. Even though you pay it off, removing the cards will raise your available credit, leading to a higher UTIL %. But UTIL % is overrated. Long as its below 30%, should be fine.

What os does lightroom and photoshop run best on? Mac or PC?
What os does lightroom and photoshop run best on? Mac or PC?
I don't know to which project files you are referring but:
The Lightroom Catalog (a single file on both)
The Previews (a single folder on both)
The Smart Previews (a single folder on both)
Presets, Settings and Such (in identically nested folders within the OS construct on both)
Take it from an experienced user in both OS's. Mac simplifies somethings - PC simplifies others. -

Usage Notes
This procedure requires the CREATE JOB privilege to create a schedule in one's own schema or the CREATE ANY JOB privilege to create a schedule in someone else's schema by specifying schema.schedule_name. Once a schedule has been created, it can be used by other users. The schedule is created with access to PUBLIC. Therefore, there is no need to explicitly grant access to the schedule. -
What applications does the photography version include? and can it be single account for many computers?
I do work in a school and we will need many computers so have the application so can i have a single license that can be used for all?Hi there
The Photography plan includes Photoshop CC + Lightroom & is available as an Individual plan or student/teacher plan. A unique Adobe ID is required for each membership.
For schools you may wish to consider Creative Cloud for Education or Creative Cloud for Enterprise - please see Creative Cloud pricing and membership plans | Adobe Creative Cloud for details.
Thanks
