What router is the most stable & suitable?

Hi,
I have a Linksys Switch (Gigabit) connected to various hardware in my small business via CAT7. All is running Gigbit network; expect by BRI ISDN line which is giving me currently only 12 Mbit download. I also connect the router to an ISDN VOIP Gateway which i sconnected to my internal PBX which I presume provides quite a load on the router.
Unfortunately my RVS4000 (firmware v1.3.2.0) simply keeps on hanging and I have spent much time trying to figure out why and I am close to simply replacing the router (as the loss of time is less than the cost of a new device).
Please can someone advise a suitable router which containing a Firewall and is VERY stable (up time 99.9%)? I would like to remain in the cisco/linksys world so I first look here for a solution.

BTW - I do not need Wifi as the router is in a small datacenter which Wifi simply does not work outside of as the walls are 60cm thick. A wired router is enough.

Firefox or Safari, in my opinion. I prefer Firefox, use Safari occasionally, and just have never given Chrome a real chance. I don't like the 'built in' Flash and PDF technology in Chrome.

What is the most stable version of iTunes for just playing music? I don't need anything else, bells or whistles. Always getting the beachball of death with 7.6 and I'm fed up.

FWIW, I have 7.6.1 running on over 40 systems, most of which are G5s and one of which is my personal system at home and gets extensive use of iTunes, and have had no problems at all. So any problems you might be experiencing with iTunes 7.6 are not endemic to all installations of iTunes on G5s. Perhaps you have some third-party codec, add-on or plugin that might be affecting stability?

What the most stable quality 4gb (2x2gb) memory for the P6n SLi Platinum?

I'm looking for the most stable and very good quality 4gb of ram for the P6N sli platinum MB - what make does everyone recommend for this board?
I note that Kingston value ram is mentioned on the Approved list but I wanted something faster than the valueram?
Does anyone have either G.Skill or super talent and if so how do they work? Any other makes that you can recommend?
I know that there have been issue swith 4gb of ram for Xp/Vista 32 bit systems but from what I am reading hopefully the next bios should resolve this ...?

I don´t know whats the most stable 4GB solution is, I only can tell you, that I use Micron/Crucial mamory for years and never had any problems.
Actually in my new P6N-SLI Platinum are working 4 1GB dimms of crucial value ram ddr2-667 without problems.
There is a new bois version 1.22 for the platinum which solved the 4GB problem of earlier bios versions.
That was a bios problem and not a problem of the ram.
Manufacturer as Gskill on their GBHZ6400 modules and OCZ on their 1066 SLI modules are using the same Micron chips called D9GMH which are on my values.
They have great potential above the rated 667 speed. Cause i´m coming from germany and at the moment the prices of memory here are very cheap, a lot of people are thinking about upgrading their memory.
All what I read about here in germany G.Skill, Mushkin(very expensive), OCZ, A-data, TeamGroup are the most reliable rams
when it comes to high speeds and low latency modules.
At least I recommend the Crucial Ballistix ddr800 if you are not able to handle special settings in the motherboard bios.
And of course there are coming 2GB modules from most of the manufacturers, so you only need 2 modules for 4GB.
It´s your choice...

I have a MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008), Intel Core 2 Duo 2.53 GHz, 4GB Memory. and am currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.8.
I would like to know which is the most stable upgrade for my model? Mountain Lion, Mavericks or Yosemite?
When I had gone to the apple care centre in India a few months ago to upgrade my OSX to Mountain Lion, I was told that considering my macbook pro's specs, upgrading it would just make it less efficient, and that I should stick to Snow Leopard unless I consider buying a newer mac that would benefit from it. Is this true? I find it a bit hard to believe. Which update is most recommended?
I also notice that my mac has gotten considerably slower. While using chrome, it buffers and struggles with even just 5 tabs open. Could this have something to do with my current ios? As a precaution, I have always been making sure I have enough free space on disk i.e around 70 - 100 free out of 250GB.
Any advice is appreciated.

Mavericks is no longer available from the App Store, so your choice is Yosemite. One option is to create a new partition (~30- 50 GB), install the new OS, and ‘test drive’ it. If you like/don’t like it it, you can then remove the partition. Do a backup before you do anything. By doing this, if you don’t like it you won't have to go though the revert process.
Check to make sure your applications are compatible.

How do I determine what is using the most memory.

The hard disk memory is filling up and I was wondering what is the best way to determine what is using the most memory. Is there a way to show a graph of how the memory is used. Like on my ipod. When I am checking the memory, it will show how much is music, and how much is applications and so on.
Also, I seemed to have lost the "all movies" in the list to the left when the hard disk is opened. It still shows the all imagess, and all documents but the all movies is gone.

Just for future reference space on a hard drive is called, "storage," not "memory." Memory refers to the installed RAM in your computer.

If the C key for Install Disc or R Command for OS X Recovery startup commands are not working, try holding the Option key for the Startup Manager.

If you visit Apple's PR Library, you can find the quarterly sales results posted. Each one has a PDF you can download that includes a summary of Macs sold. The most recent one, from April 19, 2006, includes a PDF ("Data Summary" at the top of the press release) that only breaks down the Macs sold into "desktop" and "portable" computers. There's no way to distinguish between iMacs, G5 towers, Xserves and Mac minis in the desktop category. Older press releases like that (for example, the April, 2005 release) break down the desktops into iMacs and PowerMacs, but the iMac group includes the Mac minis and eMacs so it's still not possible to figure out exactly how many Mac minis were sold.
So, unless Apple releases the numbers separately, I'm not sure it's possible to answer your question.

The only signed firmware available for your phone is iOS 5.1.1. If you update or restore, that's what will be installed on your phone. You can't pick & chose. If you don't want iOS 5.1.1, don't update. If you're already running iOS 5.1.1, it is what it is.

I'd like to know what would be the most compatible Virus protection software that would go with Mozilla Firefox?

I was recently given "as a gift" a new lap top, at least I was told it was new it's a HP 2000 LAP TOP (NOTEBOOK) PC! IT HAS 4 GB RAM, I don't know if you need more info then that right now but I would gladly get it for you if needed.
I recently had a computer crash, I had back up on my most important info, but not ALL info that was filed.
What had happen is somewhat my neglect, the other problem was the "tech" was asking me the most unusual questions, one was I had to find or remember my very first password I started Microsoft with, that was over 5 years ago on my older lap Top. I do have passwords written down for everything that needs one BUT; I didn't have my original password. (I haven't for almost 2 years), I change them just for safety reasons about every 90 days or so. Well As I was trying to use what passwords I had, the "Tech" ("questionable") I did this for approximately 30 minutes before I got fed up and disconnected the connection, which unfortunately, when I tried starting back up I had a blue screen with white writing, that from a past experience meant my computer crashed HOWEVER it did not give me that notice when you crash just said restart your computer. So I did, but after the desktop started showing up with my icons, many of them were missing.
So I thought This be a good time to use software my friend sent called "Roll back" similar to system restore, but with the ability to find and restore files you may have lost. Well I did recover some, however I lost many files, I am totally unable to watch any DVD MOVIES ON ANY type of player right now. My main Question is "What is the best possible Virus scan/ firewall compatible with my version of Firefox 30"???
And could it help me in the future if God Forbid something similar were to haunt me in the future?? I couldn't afford anything over $80 . Thank You BuddyD54

What fonts are the most readable at the smallest sizes?

My screen's resolution sucks, so there's no amount of tweaking that will fix that. But if I set most fonts to less than 8, they are horrible. Some are tolerable at 7, like DejaVu Sans and Droid Sans.
Any other fonts that do well at small sizes? What are your preferred text-editor fonts?

You already listed the best ones.
Steve Matteson is probably the most successful creator of screen fonts: Liberation fonts, Droid fonts, Open Sans, Segoe (the latter may not be as useful as it's specifically optimised for Windows).
PT Sans and Serif are also very solid if you want something a little quirkier, Ubuntu is also very well done if you like spurless Sans Serifs.
Beyond that... trial and error. Most other freely available fonts aren't optimised for the screen to the same degree, but some will render well on a given system more or less by chance.

I have had no issues at all with 10.7.4 on any of my five Macs, and other than a handful of people having problems in a troubleshooting forum, I have read no info on a global problem, so would appreciate reading this research.

Any thoughts on whether I should use SSD or HDD for Drive D (with Media Cache/Scratch files) would be appreciated.
