What's going on. All 4GB in Z61p is usable using MS Ramdisk ? Nah...
This is kinda strange and I've been puzzled for quite a while now. I'm confused of what to actually think of this.
My system is a ThinkPad Z61p with 4GB RAM installed and running XP.
When I use Taskmanager to have a quick lookup on my system it reports my Physical memory being 3 GB as expected. [3.144.044 KB]
My Commit Charge Limit reports 3.993.616 KB. [4 GB]
To my knowledge, this is a total of usable RAM + the size of the pagefile.
My pagefile is 1 GB, so it all matches up. Except, that my Pagefile is running on a Ramdisk I made @ 1 GB.
I have no pagefile running on the harddrive.
The Commit Charge Limit should be in the 3 GB Range, not 4.
What's going on here ? Are all 4 GB being used by the system in this way ?

Definitely not PEBKAC. Using either Xcode or the ICU, and clearly the console logs of my device show that something odd is happenning. Roughly same time frame, about 3 weeks ago, I began to notice long delays and dropped iMessages. Odd, since the service had worked brilliantly up until recently.

3rd party router, set to Apples specifications for iOS devices.
The oddest thing is that it makes no difference if I turn on send by SMS or not... and it should.
Issue confirmed by associate in Toronto.
Conversations changing, rearranging, I'm told that messages did not go through, but screenshots from other party show they have recieved them... very puzzling.

Ctrl+Shift+Esc to launch it
Usually by this time, Firefox is no longer listed on the Applications tab, but if it is, try terminating it there.
Click the Processes tab and look for both of these:
plugin-container.exe (used to run Flash and many other plugins)<br>
firefox.exe
Click each and then click End Process.
After that, you can close the Task Manager and you should be able to start Firefox.

We had a 5GB plan with an air card for the past 4 years and rarely went over our data plan but wanted wifi. We were told the jetpack was the way to go. But within 24 hours of setting it up we went through almost 20% of our monthly allowance! We didn't use the computer any differently than we usually do and only used the wifi for 2 Kindle downloads and then disconnected the device from wifi (verified on the jetpack) yet our usage is going through the roof. I will blow through my 10GB in a week at this rate. Very frustrated and don't know where to look for "leaks." help? Any ideas? I don't seem to have any devices drawing from wifi that I don't know about.

All of a sudden, new tabs have started opening up (in Firefox) advertising games and other stuff. Any idea's of what is going on here?

First Spacebar, now timeline row size... what's going on?
Hi All
I started a thread about how suddenly the spacebar began deactivated layers when choosing a layer in the Timing or Project window . Several people gave feedback, and I persisted in trying different things to fix this problem. I subsequently discovered that in the Timeline, the "set row size" bars don't do anything... they are set at the smallest size. Clicking on them is ineffective. If I try and drag one down, it expands then immediately snaps back to small. Any ideas about what's going on here? Strange!
This is using M 3.0.2 with all the latest upgrades. To repeat the my previous post, I can go to an "unmigrated" user account and all these problems disappear. No deactivation with spacebar, no problem resizing the rows.
How are things with others?

Sounds like you do not use Growl. You could just uninstall it.

Ok, I have deleted EVERYTHING off my 16gb ipad. Photos, music, apps. All I have are the standard apps. It says I have used 11gb and only have 1.6 left. When I first bought it I had up to 4 movies and lots of apps, no problems. What's going on please!?

My ipad all of a sudden won't wake up? I plugged it into my mac desktop and it shows it as if it is awake, all my programs are intact, it updated and sinc'd, but no response when not plugged in. How do I wake it up? Do I need to reset it or something or is there a light in it that can be replaced? No idea what is going on. No damage or drop has occurred.

I have an iMac with OS X Lion 10.7.5,an iPhone 5s with iOS 7.1.2 and an iPad with iOS 7.1.2. all software is up to date. My problem is I do not receive all my e-mail on all 3 devices all the time. I seem to get them on my phone , but not all show up on my iMac or iPad. Any ideas as to what is going on and what can I do to resolve this issue? thanks
On the iPhone, go into Settings -> Store and turn off "Automatic Downloads" for Apps (and Music and Books, if you wish). You can also do that on the iPad to prevent it from going in the opposite direction.
That will stop any automatic downloading... to prevent them from coming over when using iTunes, select the phone (under Devices), Apps, and then uncheck "Automatically sync new apps." Again, do the same for the iPad if you wish. -
Guys, what is going on two phones exchanged in store today all had battery draining problems once phone updated to iOS 6.0.2.
First phone wouldn't last 3 hours usage even in plane mode function.
Second phone bit better battery life 3 hours 15 minutes usage No Apps installed on both phone and location turn off even setup as new phone.First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

The day after Thanksgiving I had access to all of my bookmarks. There were no updates I entered for Firefox. In the late afternoon I tried to continue my work and all of my bookmarks had disappeared. I thought it was just a glitch. Went directly to the site and tried to re-enter my bookmark and Firefox will not accept it. What is going on?
This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
