What's mean the Logic channel?

Hello !!!
Now I studying the Java Card and ISO7816...
but I have a probrem....
I can't understand the logical channel....
Does logical channel is the path between CAD and JavaCard ?
um...sorry for my enlish is poor.....

It's a logical path between CARD and Javacard, as the name indicates. One of the main purpose of logical channel is to select multiple applets in the card. Normally, whenever we select an applet, the previously selected applet gets de-selected and the CLEAR-ON-DESELECT variables of that apples gets defaulted to zero. There may be some scenario where we need to have both the applets selected. Hence, select the first applet in logical channel 0 (which happens by default) and select the second applet in logical channel 1.

  • What does mean the itune icon with a cable in the iphone screen?

what does mean the itune icon with a cable in the iphone screen?

I'm having exact same problem. I was installing the latest ios7 update (to fix some Facetime bug that I don't have) and this happened. I noticed in some other posts on similar problem to hold down the sleep and on buttons at the same time and tried that. No change. Then I plugged it into my laptop and it said it was in recovery mode. I'm now in the process of restoring the software.
I really hope I haven't lost all my contacts, notes, and photos.

  • What it means the color of the charger cable (green and orange)?

Hi, does anybody know what it means the color of the light in end of the cable, the part that you plug into de laptop because it change sometimes, sometimes it´s green , and sometimes it´s orange, that it´s bad?
    Thanks.
    CAMILORAMIREZ

John's right about the orange meaning it's charging, and it will turn green when it's fully charged.
But it also should be green anytime it's not charging the battery. When everything is working right, that means it has quit charging because the battery is completely charged. But it can also show green if something is wrong that is keeping the battery from taking a charge.

  • What does mean the "i" of 9i?

Just wondering, what does mean the "i" at Oracle 9i?
    And the "g" at 10g?

It was started with Oracle 8, included internet i to 8i, Basically one JAVA runtime engine included within the database itself to execute JAVA code, so Oracle 8 became 8i.
Grid computing (RAC) included with 10g.

  • What to know the logic of this program :RV60SBAT

i need to change this program based on my requirement , but i don't know the logic of this program ,there are some puzzles about the logic of the program. the requirement is that: when create the batchjob, the number of the batchjob is fixed , and the steps of the batchjob is also need to fixed, but the per step that contain the number of the customer is dynamicly. how to do it .i need to fix the step of the batchjob ,how to do it ?
it is very emergency . who can give me some useful suggestion?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello, Ming.
I'm not sure whether this will solve your problem, but check OSS note 652219. It describes an adjustment to the SDBILLDL program so that you can schedule it directly in background instead of it being "spawned" by the RV60SBAT program. That way, it can be a "fixed" scheduled job.
    Hope this helps!

  • What happened to The Weather Channel HD Feed

Live in Comcast Elgin/Algonquin area. Channel 270 for The Weather Channel HD is broadcasting in SD feed. Anyone else experiencing this issue. All of my other HD channels are working properly.

I'm having the same issue for channel 832 in Atlanta, using a Tivo with a Cablecard.  For two months now TWC has been widescreen SD on the HD channel, even though all the local commercials (e.g. Xfinity business) are in 1080i HD on that channel.  All of the TWC content is SD, the local cable commercials are HD in other words so I know it's an HD channel.
I've called Comcast and had them open a ticket, called TWC to have them check the problem, even PM'd ComcastTeds here and no one has responded with a fix for the problem.
I'm in zip 30106, Austell area, on the Vinings headend I think.
Apologies for the delay in responding. I have asked a few more Atlanta area team members to review this and get eyes on glass.
    Thanks for your continued patience.

  • ABAP Certification - What exactly means the "dynamic programming" topic?

    Hi all,
Actually i´m studying for my ABAP exam and i´d like to know what exactly means dynamic programming(of ABAP Advanced topic, take a look at http://www50.sap.com/useducation/certification/curriculum.asp?rid=493&vid=5).
Is it only about creating a new program dynamically? or anything else? I just want to know where will be my focus on it.
    thank you!
    André

Dynamic programming could refer to a number of things, but here I assume that it refers to such things like, creating a dynamic internal table at runtime, and/or using RTTS, or it could mean, simply using fields symbols.

    Simon,
SMON is the system monitor process. Basic function is to cleaup/reset after database (or system) crash. You may want to view the trace files themselves for more.
In general I would be concerned enough to open a TAR w/Oracle to make sure. But, I wouldn't be frantic (assuming the DB is performing OK).

  • Who can tell me what's mean the parameter "-g" of buildserver.

    buildserver -f "-g" -o ...
i looked for the the manual for buildserver but i can't found it.

    Hi Jamxia,
    The doc says
    http://edocs.bea.com/tuxedo/tux81/rfcm/rfcmd7.htm#1750061
    Compatibility
In earlier releases, the -g option was allowed to specify a genoption of sql or database. For upward compatibility, this option is a synonym for the -r option.
So it is same usage with -r option with compatibility consideration. But please note your example is not proper since buildserver will think "-g" as an argument of -f. -f specifies the source code wanted in the compile.

  • -rwxrwx---+  what's meaning the last simbol " + " at end of permissions

    Hi to all,
I'm looking information about the "+" simbol at the and of permissions of files or directory.
    thanks in advance
    Bye
    Tug

    From "man ls":
    The character
after permissions is an ACL or extended attributes indica-
tor. This character is an @ if extended attributes are asso-
ciated with the file and the -@ option is in effect. Other-
wise, this character is a plus sign (+) character if a non-
trivial ACL is associated with the file or a space character
    if not.

  • Logical channels and secureChannel.resetSecurity();

    Hi,
1- an external entity A selects an applet APP on logical channel 0 and establishes a secure channel.
2- another external entiry B selects the same applet on channel 1 without establishing a secure channel.
3- B exchanges a few commands and responses with the APP.
4- The execution of the commands in (3) leads to calling secureChannel.resetSecurity() within APP.
5- secureChannel.resetSecurity() returns the error code 6985 which means conditions of use not satisfied.
It looks like the secure channel that was established when the APP was selected through the logical channel 0, cannot be reset while the APP is selected on a different logical channel.
Has anyone faced this situation before? Any ideas how to reset the secure channel under the described circumstances?
    Thanks in advance,
    Hugo

    Hi,
Logical channel 0 is the basic channel. Have you tried having all host applications on a logical channel other than 0?
As a rule, we only ever used GP secure channel to secure card issuance/updates or to secure updating the main transport key on the card (the private key had to be encrypted). These actions only ever had one channel to the card open. All other communication was done through a secure channel that was handled by the applet (AES based) that did not rely on the card platform keys so this wasn't an issue in our case.

  • The FIOS Channel Listings need to be rearranged.

When I first got FIOS over a year ago, there were slightly less channels, and the channels that were here were well organized by the group of 10 they were in. For example, the 50s are for major entertainment channels. The 70s to 90s are for Sports. It's logical.
But since then, Verizon have seemed to add channels at random. In the 190s, you have both Chiller and FearNET... as wel as E!... as well as the TV Guide Network, FuelTV, and ABCFamily. None of those are related. A ton of these channels need to be rearranged. Why is Sleuth inbetween Bravo and Logo? The 180s are as follows:
    180 - Syfy
    181 - A&E
    182 - CRIME
    183 - truTV
    184 - GSN
    185 - Bravo
    186 - Sleuth
    187 - LOGO
    188 - Ovation
    189 - BBC America
There is a logic to that. A&E, CRIME, and truTV should be togther, for example. But Syfy does not belong here. BBC America does not either, although it fits in well with 190 and 191, so I assume you could make that argument, though it breaks the channel listing logic.
The 460s and up don't make any sense to me. I don't even remember I have them. It's a random collection of channels that seem like they belong before the 50s, and are instead dumped at the end of the lineup. At the VERY LEAST, they should be before the PPV Channels, and not after. There's a bunch of PBS channels here, which is bizarre since there are a bunch of PBS channels in the <50s. And while I know you can't fit them in there because of all the Local Channels, it is confusing to me, as well as seemingly hiding the channels from me.
In addition to that, what is with the HD Channels? Some of them don't match their non-HD channel listing number. The Disney Channel is 250, for the non-HD version. For some reason, it is 780 in the HD version. It should be 750.
There are many areas where I would like to see improvement in simple things such as that. It's a much easier thing to fix than adding all the HD Channels I'd want

The only way i can see to do this, is to select your audio track in the timeline and export using Quicktime conversion/ "format" AIFF, check in options that it is set to mono. Save the file and import into Audition. It works for me although I have Soundbooth not Audition.
    Good luck.
