What's needed for Optical IN/decoding with Xtremegam

I've been poking around the net and this board trying to find an answer to my question, but I haven't yet found a definate answer. I have the Creative X-Fi Xtremegamer (NOT fatalty) card and a nice 5. speaker set that I would like to use with an optical audio source, namely an HD-DVD player. I initially figured that I would be able to use my soundcard with a flexijack compatible cable to connect the card to the player and set it up to decode the audio and run it through the 3 jack analog connection to my speakers. The research I've done has only been confusing.
So my question is: What do I need to input digital optical (S/PDIF) into my card and run it out through my 5. speakers?Message Edited by nx_2000 on 08-9-200709:07 PM

[WNTFIX]Enabling Chromium password sync, what's needed for it to work?

Hello, I'm using Google Chrome in multiple machines, some of them running Windows OSs. In my Arch machines I'm using Chromium from the extra repository, I have different environments but my Gnome based one is quite complete yet I still can't sync passwords.
What's needed for it to be able to sync passwords? Maybe some compile time flag?

Huh, that's strange. I checked it on my browser and there's doesn't seem to be a password sync option under the sync settings. A short Google expedition reveals that I'm not the only one. Luckily, the first comment explains it. It was recently disabled by default because it doesn't play nice with GNOME Keyring. To enable it, start chromium with the --enable-password-sync and --password-store=basic flags. Haven't tried it my self, though, as I don't really need that particular feature.

I am not sure what is meant by a "processing block". However, it seems the question wants the original table order to be preserved. If so; as far as I understood the problem we need:
itab_proxy[] = itab_main[] .
"two standard tables"
SORT itab_proxy BY field1 field2 .
If we have a sorted table, then it is always sorted by its keys. So, the question seems to become obsolete for that option.

If a transfer order contains 12 item level, three separate transfer order should be created with item level 5,5 and 2.
This transfer order is for the material which bound to flow to production from warehouse.
Can anyone explain the step by step procedure to implement this BAdI?
It would be great if the procedure is for New BAdI.

Hello,
The two devices need to be connected with a CAN cable and while carrying out the communication, one device should be the master and the other should be the slave. Also you should maintain the same protocol (Baud rate, Arbitration ID etc.) at the two devices.

Experiment: (public plan table exists)
create user bob identified by bob;
grant create session to bob;
connect bob/bob
start sample_plan
If will error off on the table being read in the plan
connect dba_or_privileged_user
grant select on the referenced_table(s) to bob;
connect bob/bob
start sample_plan
It will now work providing a public plan table exists or you give bob create table and create a bob.plan_table
I ran the experiment on Oracle version 9.2.0.6 running on AIX 5.3. Select privilege on all referenced tables in the explained SQL must exist

What do I need for Oracle Http Server with mod_plsql on Linux 64bit?

I am trying to get the OHS onto a linux box but I am not quite sure I am installing the correct thing!!
I currently have a windows box running the 10g Application server but everything seems to have changed since then and there seems to be several different things to do with the Fusion Middleware and stuff. I've tried to find an overview in plain english of what all these things are but all I can find are lots of marketing buzzwords!
All in need to to be able to run the OHS with the mod_plsql so I can run my apex application. I'd be greatfull if someone could point me in the right direction for what I need to install!
The box it is going on is a CentOS Linux 64bit machine. I've download and installed Oracle WebLogic Server 11g Rel 1 (10.3.3) using the generic installer for the 64 bit java but there seems to be no http server despite it saying there is! Most likely I am doing something wrong but the installer finishes successfully but nothing is running on port 7001.
Do I actually need the WebTier instead? Is that the best solution for running the OHS with mod_plsql? Do I need the WebLogic install as well? Unfortunately I am fairly new to Linux as well which isn't helping!!

Well, you have two options:
- Use the OHS from the OFM WebTier Utilities distro. (To use 11.1.1.3 version, you need both the 11.1.1.2 and 11.1.1.3 distros)
- Use the OHS from the DB Companion Disk distro.
WebLogic Server is a Java EE application with an HTTP server included, but not intended to be used as a replacement of OHS/Apache. It doesn't support mod's...

Query help needed for querybuilder to use with lcm cli

I had set up several queries to run with the lcm cli in order to back up personal folders, inboxes, etc. to lcmbiar files to use as backups. I have seen a few posts that are similar, but I have a specific question/concern.
I just recently had to reference one of these back ups only to find it was incomplete. Does the query used by the lcm cli also only pull the first 1000 rows? Is there a way to change this limit somwhere?
Also, since when importing this lcmbiar file for something 'generic' like 'all personal folders', pulls in WAY too much stuff, is there a better way to limit this? I am open to suggestions, but it would almost be better if I could create individual lcmbiar output files on a per user basis. This way, when/if I need to restore someone's personal folder contents, for example, I could find them by username and import just that lcmbiar file, as opposed to all 3000 of our users. I am not quite sure how to accomplish this...
Currently, with my limited windows scripting knowledge, I have set up a bat script to run each morning, that creates a 'runtime' properties file from a template, such that the lcmbiar file gets named uniquely for that day and its content. Then I call the lcm_cli using the proper command. The query within the properties file is currently very straightforward - select * from CI_INFOOBJECTS WHERE SI_ANCESTOR = 18.
To do what I want to do...
1) I'd first need a current list of usernames in a text file, that could be read (?) in and parsed to single out each user (remember we are talking about 3000) - not sure the best way to get this.
2) Then instead of just updating the the lcmbiar file name with a unique name as I do currently, I would also update the query (which would be different altogether): SELECT * from CI_INFOOBJECTS where SI_OWNER = '<username>' AND SI_ANCESTOR = 18.
In theory, that would grab everything owned by that user in their personal folder - right? and write it to its own lcmbiar file to a location I specify.
I just think chunking something like this is more effective and BO has no built in back up capability that already does this. We are on BO 4.0 SP7 right now, move to 4.1 SP4 over the summer.
Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

Just wanted to pass along that SAP Support pointed me to KBA 1969259 which had some good example queries in it (they were helping me with a concern I had over the lcmbiar file output, not with query design). I was able to tweak one of the sample queries in this KBA to give me more of what I was after...
SELECT TOP 10000 static, relationships, SI_PARENT_FOLDER_CUID, SI_OWNER, SI_PATH FROM CI_INFOOBJECTS,CI_APPOBJECTS,CI_SYSTEMOBJECTS WHERE (DESCENDENTS ("si_name='Folder Hierarchy'","si_name='<username>'"))
This exports inboxes, personal folders, categories, and roles, which is more than I was after, but still necessary to back up.. so in a way, it is actually better because I have one lcmbiar file per user - contains all their 'personal' objects.
So between narrowing down my set of users to only those who actually have saved things to their personal folder and now having a query that actually returns what I expect it to return, along with the help below for a job to clean up these excessive amounts of promotion jobs I am now creating... I am all set!

What's needed for intel imac wifi sync?

I have an Intel Core 2 iMac 10.5.8 and just purchased the iPhone 4s and now have ios5. It doesn't look like I can sync over wifi, because in iTunes, it says 'requires iosx 10.6.8 or later', which I think is Snow Leopard. It also looks like its $29.99.
Is this all I need to do or am I going to also need to get Lion, which is another $29.99? I'm not sure $60 is worth being able to sync over wifi for me.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
btw, I'm running ios 5.0.1 and iTunes 10.5.1

Well you know what is needed which is Lion and the only way to get Lion is to first upgrade to Snow Leopard so I think you simply need to decide if you want iCloud or not. BTW it would be also wise to upgrade the RAM on your system, I'd recommend the maximum it can address to have the best user experience. I recommend if you decide to move forward buying OWC (www.macsales.com) or Crucial. Finally if you are running any legacy PPC based apps they will also need to be upgraded as they will not run in Lion. If you are not sure if you have any PPC based apps there a numerous articles you can find to show you how. One example is How to Check if Applications are Incompatible with Lion.
