Good to know that I am not behind the times.I had a feeling it was a generational 'thing' but still...When I discovered the word geek and nerd after I emigrated, I thought wow, way to put someone down. Now people use it as a badge of honor [and as jonahzona alludes to, or make things sound better for sales' sakes].I was also curious to see if there were any culturally different opinions on it. When I mentioned Spiceworks to a few of our international customers [partners], they were pretty positive about it. Teen son was watching Supernatural [marathon viewing time] when he made the comment that if you did not know Mark Sheppard, you had to have your geek card taken away. [Canton Everett Delaware in Supernatural and 'that' guy to me who was in Dr. Who and 'that' guy in Firefly]That got me thinking. What is supposed to be on that geek card? Now geeks are popular or 'accepted' but geez, I was geekie [though not a techie] before I even knew the word!
[there's no such word in Dutch/Holland where I grew up, we just knew those kids in school as 'the smart kids' -go figure]So what makes an acceptable geek card?To me, it's reading everything you can get your hands on, especially when bored. It's knowing your scifi, it's loving movie/tv show quotes and being almost able to converse using just those [hehe] and having an interest in the world outside...

What's the best graphics card without upgrading PSU?

I know the K430 JU has a wimpy 280 watt power supply. I don't want to go through hassle of replacing the PSU, due to I won't be able to have the front lights or the top speed shifter working.

Go here and enter your system details, followed by adding in a graphics card in the range you might like.
If the wattage is too high, keep decreasing the card specs until you get something that falls in the range of 200-240W.

so, for 300 dollars.. you can make your 2009 mac pro into a 2010.. and yes, you can use the same existing processors.. the good news is that 1333 mhz memory works with the following processors in the new board: W3570, W3580(High end 3.33 2009 mac pro quad which was 1400.00 extra as a configure to order on apple's store from a 2.66 quad-core at 2499.99), and finally the W3680.
I am running still my w3580 with now 8GB of DDR3 1333 mhz memory.. it was 1066, but i got 1333 for a great price..

Please note: if you have the 4870 HD Apple version, and not pc flashed, the sensor reading is too high for the 2010's firmware... you will need the GT120 or the 5770 graphics card.. 5870 is not going to be available for sometime and there is rumor from AMD themselves stating the card might be EOL..

I use the IRIS card scan which works but is a long shot worse than the Cardscan which i used to have on a pc back in 2000.... there is currently no really good solution for business card scanning on the mac that i have seen.

Ohh, you mean credit card scanner?
That would be up to whicher scanner you choose. The manufacturer would determine which iPad or iPhone versions or IOS versions their device supports.
The Square scanner from the Apple Online store only needs iOS 5. So pretty much any model of iPad should support it.

Depending on the model of Mac I would first try to tilt the unit to see if you can get whatever you got stuck in there nearer the edge. Do not shake the Mac to move the object - you could cause damage to internal components.
The next best thing is to use a very fine pair of tweezers or pliers and try to remove the object. Sometimes a credit card or firm business card may also help you move the object nearer to the lip of the optical drive.
Be warned though - you are not supposed to stick anything into the optical drive yourself to try and remove something as you could cause further damage. Your best bet is to take it into an Apple Store and have them remove it. Just as another warning though - this would count as accidental damage and so is not covered under your Applecare if you have it. You'll have to pay out of pocket to get the object removed.

This depends on what Orange SIM you have. You could have a pre-activated SIM or you could have a SIM that needs to be activated on the EE website.
If your phone is on and shows service (EE with either G, E or 3G), text the word number to 150.
If your SIM needs to be activated, you can use Orange's PAYG SIM activation tool here.

No, as far as I know there's no load standard load program for CRM product catalog data. We're on v4.0, so I can't say what's been added in later releases.
Anyway, if you write your own, have a look at package COM_PRDCAT_WEB_API which contains lots of goodie function modules you can use to manipulate product catalog data.
Dont forget
CALL FUNCTION 'COM_PRDCAT_TRANSACTION_BEGIN'
at the start and
CALL FUNCTION 'COM_PRDCAT_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'
at the end.
There's also package COM_PRDCAT, but when we tried to do stuff with FMs in this package we ran into errors since some global variables were undefined.

You need to find employment and then look for a secured credit card to establish some credit.
