What's the answer... 5 dukes...

Since it's Wednesday (in the eastern US at this time, at least), and I want to give away my last original dukes (the ones you get free for signing up), here's 5 dukes for whoever can give me the right answer:
How can I find the answer to my question?

How can I find the answer to my question? By assigning dukes for it. You haven't got
't got "the" answer for ur question so far, as you
havent alloted
the promised 5 bucks yet :)Sorry, the question wasn't about assigning dukes.
Btw, what is "it" in "it is raining" ?Ah, what is it... probably the sound of one hand clapping or trees falling in unpopulated areas.

  • Quicktime Useless on G3 - What is the Answer?

    So I'm experiencing the same Quicktime problems so many G3 owners have noted in these forums - sound without video, stuttering playback, terrible performance even after allowing video to load completely. But after trolling these forums, it's not clear to me what the answer is: Is there an earlier version of Quicktime I can roll back to and regain my past functionality? Or have I lost the use of Quicktime until I shell out for a new computer?

    I dont think so coz some of my old movies are not playing smooth on Q7, and they are definitely not in H.264.
    Q7 is generally slow and sometimes have problems with non mov files.
    Im wondering whats going on? Everybody are saying like mantra that Quicktime is not for playback but for manipulating media. OK, but since Q6 was faster on the same content Im wondering what is the technical reason coz its hard to believe that Q7 is worse optimised than Q6. Does it have different decoding algorithm? better? how?

  • What is the answer for this question?

    For a tree T, let nI denote the number of its internal nodes, and let nE denote the number of its external nodes. Show that if every internal node in T has exactly 3 children, then nE = 2 nI + 1.

    How does this question relate to Java Programming?Oh that's a whole unique class of posters here. The type that think "somewhere this touches Java, so it is a Java problem". Even if you are asking how to fix a bug in a piece of actionscript that is being called from a JSP, or a piece of CSS is misbehaving in IE7 which causes an applet to be displayed 10 pixels too far to the right. In this case the homework probably needs to be proven using a piece of Java code.
    Hey, its convenient to ask such unrelated questions in a place where lots of people from different disciplines visit, right? SOMEONE must know the answer...

  • To upgrade or Not to upgrade this is the Question? What is the Answer!

    Does Adobe expect Design & Prepress studios like the one I run to upgrade all out copies to get the latest version of Acrobat 9 before they have fixed the problems that are in Acrobat 8? I see that the latest version is released now but there is still problems with 8, just last month we printed an 130 page brochure worth £24k that was messed up and we had to reduce the cost of the final print job, simply because the PDF created from In-Design CS3 dropped off text that went across spread (it was only on 1 of the 2 pages). So Adobe I put it to you why should we bother paying you to upgrade to the latest version? To me it seems like Adobe is QuarkXpress all over again with their attitude towards customers, Quark would do the same thing, version 4 was release when 3.3 still was not right, it was this reason that I decided to give In-design a try and finally moved away from Quark not just the problems with the product but the attitude towards support. Maybe it's time to give Quark another bit at the cherry I understand that they actually care about their customers again. So why is Adobe taking the same path they did I would hope that someone at adobe learn the Quark lesson. Do anyone else feel that Adobe is pulling a fast one here or is it just me?

    You printed a job without proofing it? What you saw could well be a
    problem in ID or Acrobat or...it could be user error or a bad font.
    But it's still your responsibility to provide a proof and it's the
    client's responsibility to look at it.
    >So Adobe I put it to you why should we bother paying you to upgrade to
    the latest version?
    This is a user to user forum, not a direct line to anyone at Adobe. If
    you wish to address the folks at Adobe, you'll need to do so directly.
    If you want help with an issue, you'll need to ask for it with full details.

  • What is the answer to this calculation?

    int i = 107;
    Integer.toHexString(i = (i *= 9999) / 7).toLowerCase();
    What would this return?

    Sorry, I misread your last post.
    No, toLowerCase() leaves all the digit characters (including '0') exactly as they
    are because they don't have a lower case form.
    In fact Integer.toHexString(int i) promises that the returned
    string will not begin with the '0' character unless the
    int argument itself is zero.

  • IOS5 or not ?  I have been reading all the post here for the last few day and am not hearing to many people rave over IOS5. So what's the answer, update or stay as is.

    Wondering what to do.

    I'm on a first gen iPad and apart from the lack of multitasking gestures (which is only on the second gen), there is nothing that I've found that I don't like or won't be able to get used to. Apart from anything else the iCloud features will probably come in useful. You should also remember that people tend to post on support forums like these because they have problems and/or questions - those who havn't had problems don't have a reason to post.
    But ultimately the choice is down to you - you don't have to update. You will find that over time apps will start to have iOS 5 as a requirement (the current versions of Pages, Numbers, Keynote already do), so at some point you will probably need to do so if one of your existing apps gets updates that you'd like to have, and/or a new app is released that you want - but you can wait until if/when that happens, the choice is yours.

  • [q]what's the answer? it's puzzled me a little time.

    Given the following code what will be the output?
    class ValHold{
    public int i = 10;
    public class ObParm{
    public static void main(String argv[]){
    ObParm o = new ObParm();
    o.amethod();
    public void amethod(){
    int i = 99;
    ValHold v = new ValHold();
    v.i=30;
    another(v,i);
    System.out.println(v.i);
    }//End of amethod
    public void another(ValHold v, int i){
    i=0;
    v.i = 20;
    ValHold vh = new ValHold();
    v = vh;
    System.out.println(v.i+ " "+i);
    }//End of another
    1) 10,0, 30
    2) 20,0,30
    3) 20,99,30
    4) 10,0,20
    Could u give me some detailed explanation?
    thanks a lot!

    I think after v=vh;, v reference to vh, so v.i=10, it's right?

  • What is the answer as i believe (a)?

    Send message within an integration process to 8 receivers at the same time, how can I do this?
    a) Create a FORK statement with 8 branches
    b) Create 8 interfaces
    c) Create a loop with 8 interfaces
    d) Create 8 branches

    Muhammad,
    Using the one interface, you can configure multiple receiver steps in your Receiver Determination (Integration Directory)
    Taking this further, you also have the option to add conditions to control when a receiver receives a particular message
