What's the Best Way to do an Audio Fade-In or Fade-Out

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do an audio fade-out, other than placing a keyframe at the start of the fade, them placing a keyframe at the end of the clip and dragging it down to zero. It's hard to quickly place a keyframe at the end and know for sure it's at the very end.
In previsous versions of Premiere, I had trouble plading a keyframe and keeping it at 100%, just by placing a keyframe it would also adjust the level most of the time. This seems to be less of a problem in CS4, but is there a way to be certain of inserting a keyfram at the current level. (A quick way.)
In general, there's got to be a quicker way to do a fade out or in!
I have Premiere Pro CS4 with a Matrox RTX2 card.
There are only three audio transitions:
Constant Gain
Constant Power
Exponential Fade
I can't seem to make any of them work, cannot drag them over to an audio clip.

They say: To fade out a clip’s audio, drag an audio transition from the Effects panel to a Timeline panel so that it snaps to the Out point of the audio clip.
When I try to drage one of the three avaialable audio transistions to a clip:
Constant Gain
Constant Power
Exponential Fade
Nothing happens.
WAIT.
I think I've got it now. The "Snaps to the Out point" part. Damn. There was no visual feedback during the drag to indicate something was happening.

I'm doing a big art project (around 5ft by 5ft), where I'm going to draw stuff out by hand, and would like to make a copy of that project by scanning it into the computer, or taking high-res photos of the project and compiling them together in the computer, and then printing the image out at that size, or bigger. Take the photo in one shot by a camera with 24MP, e.g.

This should be sufficient for a poster reproduction 5ft square
as a raster image.
For vectorizing one doesn't need high resolution (it's often
recommended to blur the source image).
Perspective and lens corrections can be applied by Photoshop,
but the lighting should be well balanced.
Barrel distortion by wide angle lens is really no problem.

What is the best way to make video and audio the same lengths for posting on Web?

YouTube recommends doing this to avoid sync problems. Maybe it will also make my videos run more smoothly. I'm talking here about random pauses I see in my movies on YouTube, not the uniform stuttering problem which I pretty much solved by redoing the movie at 30 fps instead of 24 fps. (Original is 18 fps Super 8 movie film.)
Anyway, there is no sound during my titles. The soundtrack starts about 17 seconds in, and ends when the ending titles begin. So what's the best way to add silent audio? The best I can figure is to take some existing sound, put it in where the titles are, and turn the volume down to zero. Seems real workaround-ish, so to speak, to me. It seems to work. I even cranked it up on headphones to make sure there was no residual noice. But I'm curious if there's a better way? No biggie if not.

I should have included the following:
1.) Why can't I make a silent project in GarageBand? I have to instead find a project with a long enough song, make an "iLife preview" of it (see (2) below), copy it from the iMovie Music and Sound Effects browser to the end of the movie, and then open the audio panel and turn the volume to zero. And all this so that video websites don't get confused by a soundtrack that starts in mid-movie.
2.) Why do I have to "render" them by the following process: Double-click a song in the iMovie Music and Sound Effects browser. You get a dialog box saying "The project "The Great Race" cannot be used because it was not prepared with an iLife preview. Would you like to open "The Great Race" in GB so you can save it with an iLife preview?" What I don't understand is why this new thing was introduced and why I have to do it via iMovie.

I've tried using the backup and restore in iTunes however, I'm running in to the following issues:

I actually called apple support and the only response was to turn off the camera AND FaceTime in restrictions. Meantime I've used a combination of the BACKUP and RESTORE FROM BACK UP and iPHONE CONFIGURATION UTILITY (enterprise support). Unfortunately there is no one simple solution.
Example:
iTunes backup and restore won't disable FaceTime, but using configuration profiles will.
iTunes backup and restore let's you set a passcode for restrictions while allowing individuals to still change restrictions, but using configuration profiles will disable your selected restrictions.
In both programs (iTunes and the invigoration utility) you have to update/install one at a time. There isn't a way to update a group of iPads at one time.
Especially for use with apps in education/classroom settings, I hope apple figures out a better enterprise solution.

Find My iPhone is good for misplaced iPhone but not good for thief and it was never meant to be.
You chance of getting it back is very small.
There are a few things you can try.
Try remote lock/wipe your iPhone through Find My iPhone.

What is the best way to read the data form the excel file in fastest and most efficient way.

I have one excel file that has many rows each row contain some data that has certain keywords.
What I want is to segregate the data of rows into respective sheets(tabs ) in the workbook.
for example in rows have following data

I don't really see any better options for SharePoint. SharePoint use other production called 'Office Web App' to allow users to view/edit Microsoft Office documents (word, excel etc.). But the web version of excel doesn't support that much records as well
as there's size limitations (probably the default max size is 10MB).
Regarding second problem, I think you need some custom solutions (like a SharePoint timer job/webpart ) to read and present data.
However, if you can reduce the excel file records to something near 16k (which is supported rows in web version of excel) then you can use SharePoint Excel service to refresh data automatically in the excel file in SharePoint from some external sources.

I can find online new in unopened box a 2012 iMac 27" i7 with 1T Fusion Drive for $1899 no sales tax. This seems like a pretty good deal since I notice the same is available from Apple refurbished for $100 more plus sales tax. I know that they say the Fusion drive is a lot faster on 2013 models but some of the speed tests I reviewed online showed the 2012 i7 and 2013 i7 very close on speed for both storage and processing. I don't like changing batteries so I would buy a separate Apple keyboard with numeric pad since it only comes with wireless keyboard. I'm a trackpad enthusiast having been using my macbook pro trackpad with current set up; and I am prepared to buy the Apple trackpad and replace batteries every 2 months but I would greatly prefer USB connection and rechargeable trackpact. Facts:
In moving to a new iMac, I copied the iPhoto library to an external HDD assuming that I would point the new iMac to the backed up iPhoto Library
All worked fine when I pointed the new library but noticed that some folders contained aliases and not the original file. So when I attempt to open that photo it can't find it because the alias is pointing to another drive.
I do have all original photos from a couple of external HDDs. In the folders titled, "Originals" (from older versions of iPhoto) and "Masters" (from current iPhoto)
I'm thinking I can create a new folder and drop the original files and make that my new iPhoto library. Is there a better way to rebuild my library? I do not want to create any future aliases.

do you have a strongly recommended default "managed" library (the iPhoto preference to "copy imported items to the iPhoto library is in its checked state) or a referenced library - you have unchecked that option?
It sounds like you have a referenced library and are now experiancing one of the very siginificant drawbacks of a referenced library and one of the many reasons they are strongly not recommended
Also note that iPhoto '11 may use alises in the originals folder as part of the upgrade

Have a look at the SeismicXML example that comes with the iPhone SDK. It uses http instead of https but it may work for you.

It's best to place any text.
You can have all of your text in one file and use auto-flow to add threaded text frames and pages as required (Hold down the Shift key when you click the loaded text cursor), but it's a little non-standard to have the thread only on one side of the spread from the auto-flow perspective, so you'll have to set up properly.
This is one case where a master text frame will work to your advantage. On your master page spread, add a text frame to the left page, but not to the right (or at least not threaded to one on the right -- for some other project you might actually want two independent text threads). Hold the loaded cursor over a frame on the left side of a document page and auto-flow. ID will add new spreads as necessary, but only put the text on the left side.
