What's the best way to transfer (not forward) a call from one iPhone to another?
What's the best way to transfer (not forward) a call from one iPhone to another? Is there an app available that does this? I'm asking about receiving a call, then transferring that caller to another iPhone on a separate number and then disconnecting while those two users are joined up in a conversation.
Ask your carrier. This would be a feature provided by them.

What is the best way to transfer apps, contacts, et cetera from one iPhone (3G) and computer (2006 MacBook) to a new iPhone (4S) and computer (early 2011 MacBook Pro)? I have already moved music, among other things using Migration Assistant but I cannot locate contacts or Apps.

What is the easiest way to transfer an faairly large HD imovie project from one computer to another in a different location. Can you export to drop box? Will the other computer need the exact imovie version?
OK it depends.
If you have a finished movie, you can SHARE/EXPORT MOVIE and create your final movie. Then, depending on the size of the finished movie, you can transfer via dropbox or similar service. Ninety minutes is a very long movie for iMovie, but it may work for you. I would suggest 720P to keep the size down.
If you need to transfer the entire iMovie Project so it can be edited in iMovie at the other end, then you need to transfer the project and event assets to an external hard drive and get the hard drive to the other location.
Directions are here. Follow the directions for 1) Moving or copying Project to external drive. Then 2) Consolidate Media.

What's the best way to transfer 11,000 photo's from my old mac to my new one?
What's the best way to transfer 11,000 photo's on iphoto to iphoto on my new mac. I've just spent 24 hours importing them onlu for it to say there is not enough space available - BUT I'VE JUST BOUGHT AN NEW UPGRADED MAC?
Don't import them.
To move an iPhoto Library to a new machine:
Link the two Macs together: there are several ways to do this: Wireless Network,Firewire Target Disk Mode, Ethernet, or even just copy the Library to an external HD and then on to the new machine...
But however you do choose to link the two machines...
Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else. -
I have a 3rd generation iPod touch, and now I am getting an iPhone 4s. What is the best way to transfer all of my data, including paid-for apps and music, from the iPod to the iPhone without losing anything? Can I just do it through iTunes or the iCloud? I have never used iCloud before.
Follow the directions here:

What is the best way to transfer only Photos and Music from imac to imac?
hello i have an old 24" imac that is loaded down with iphoto pictures and itunes music. i recently got the new 27" imac and wish to only transfer the photos and music files to the new computer. i have a cloned hard drive of my old imac as well as a time capsule copy of it.
i don't want to just restore my entire old hard drive onto my new imac because there is a lot of junk on there i don't want on there. so, what is the easiest way to move just these two types of files? i don't know how to find these files and move them?
i know how to attach both imacs via firewire, i just don't know what is the best way to make the transfer of both these file types?
thank you!copy the folders /users/username/music/itunes and /users/username/pictures/iphoto library to the corresponding locations on the new install.
note: itunes and iphoto should not be running when you do this.

What is the best way to sent a GROUP of pictures from Camera Roll to another e-mail address?
Have a group (45-50) separate pictures taken - in Camera Roll - with iPhone camera.
Need to send them to another e-mail address, but would like to send as a group (or series of smaller groups) rather than one at a time.
Any suggestions for "bulk" selection of sharing? You can actually select up to 5 pictures at a time to email. Better choice would be to import them to the computer and send them that way, depending on any restrictions by the mail provider on attachment sizes, or you could use something like Dropbox and then just email the link to share with others.

What is the best way to transfer my music library from my windows pc to my new macbook air?
what is the best way to transfer my large iTunes library from my windows pc to my new macbook air? Not all purchased, many from CDs I owned
Moving a library: Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its sub-folders and files) intact to the other drive. Hold down the option (alt) key (shift on Windows) and open iTunes. At the prompt to create or choose a library choose the copied iTunes folder.
If this is to a new computer and you put the copied iTunes folder in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

With supervised ipads, what is the best way to transfer photos and videos to the PC? Wireless transfer is not an option in our circumstances.
There are only two ways of transfering things on the iPad.
- via WiFi
- via usb cable
From what I have read, you need to connect to iTunes on the supervising PC.

What's the best way to transfer footage from a Sony miniDVD camcorder?
Do not use "mini" DVD's in any slot loading DVD drive.
Buy a cheap "tray loading" external DVD drive and attach it to your Mac. -

the commercial is deceiving to me. i am not the most techy person and i thought that you could share full song playlist which to me meant the songs also. that is all, it wasnt anything you had said but i am really thankful you enlightened me because i would still be racking my brain trying to figure out how to do it.
You can share songs, but if there is DRM protection on the song, it will not play on the other device unless you also transfer the rights to the other device. You are getting into the problem of music piracy. -
What is the best way to transfer my iphoto library from current imac to my new imac. Both imacs have iphoto 9.2.1
os on old imac is 10.6.8. os on new imac is 10.7.2. I want the albums and events to stay intact. I have 4500 photos and 79 videos. 14.9 gb. looking for some advice here. Thanks so much.Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.
