What's the difference between the GT, GS, GX, GE and GP laptops?

I'm looking to buy a 15.6" laptop but nowhere on the MSI site can I find specific information on the differences between the various 'G' series.
Can anyone help please?

NOTE:This information is not updated, and can change depending on the products MSI releases....but GENERALLY speaking....
GT = high end Intel gaming laptop
GE = mid range Intel gaming laptop
GS = slim - high/mid range Intel gaming laptop
GX = high/mid range AMD gaming laptop (depending on game and your POV)
GP = slim - low range Intel gaming laptop
Now, this is just a quick summery.....
For instance:
GT series has 2 x 2.5" HDD/SSD bays, and can come with a SuperRaid/SuperRaid2 adapter which allows the user of 2/3 mSATA SSD's in raid for a high speed drive, as well as a high end dedicated video card (GTX870 or GTX880)
GE series has a single 2.5" HDD/SSD bay, as well as 2 mSATA slots. Mid range dedicated video card (GTX860)
GS accepts 2 x mSATA drives, and has a mid range dedicated GPU (GTX850 I believe)
GX has a high end AMD dedicated video card (HD8870? Or whatever AMD's highest end card is now), and I'm not 100% sure what slots it comes with. I'm sure it has at least a single 2.5" HDD, but I'm not sure if it has 2, or mSATA sockets.
GP I think accepts a single 2.5" drive and that's it, and has a low end dedicated video card (GT840).
This is a quick summery, and do not take this information as being 100% correct. I might be wrong with some slight specs (usually noted), but what I do know is listed above.
oh not really GS range accepts 3 x msata on gs70 model from 2014, but if you buy one from 2013 then it only have 2x msata

What is the difference between the passcode on my iPhone 5 and a password?  I am locked out of my phone.

Not entirely sure what you are asking, but a passcode to unlock an iOS device is normally 4 digits long (so is a 4 digit code), though you can make it alphanumeric and longer (so effectively becomes a password).
If you don't know the passcode to unlock your phone or it's showing the disabled screen then there are instructions on this page for how to reset a device : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1212 - you should then be able to restore/resync your content to it.

  • What the difference between u0093Valuate GL Account Open Itemsu0094 and u0093Valuate G/

    hi gurus
What the difference between “Valuate GL Account Open Items” and “Valuate G/L Account Balances”?
We found out that when we perform valuate GL account Open items there will be reversal done at the same time whereas when we perform Valuate G/L Account Balances there is NO reversal posting even though we hv entered the reversal posting date and Period.
Pls advise which one we should perform?

“Valuate GL Account Open Items” are for open item managed accounts including vendor/customer accounts. The valuation is performed for each (open) line items on key date specified.
"“Valuate GL Balance" is for account NOT managed on Open Item basis but managed in foreign currency. The period balance of key date in foreign currency is valuated. Reversal document can be created by selecting 'Reverse postings' in "Postings" tab.

What'z the difference between the Commercial Invoices and
Invoices/Excise Invoices? Also I understand that we can combine 2~3
invoices and can create one commercial invoice? If it is possible, how
    to create the same?
    cheers
    shalsa007....

    Hello,
A commercial invoice is a bill for the goods from the seller to the buyer. Commercial invoices are utilized by customs officials to determine the value of the goods in order to assess customs duties and taxes.
In general there is no standard form for a commercial invoice although they tend to contain many of the following features:
    •     seller's contact information
    •     buyer's contact information
    •     consignee's contact information (if it is different from the buyers)
    •     invoice date
    •     a unique invoice number
    •     sales terms (usually in incoterm format)
    •     payment terms
    •     currency of sale
    •     full quantities and description of merchandise (Generally this includes unit price and total price. Product descriptions should be consistent with the buyer's purchase order. Including the Harmonized System commodity codes can be helpful, especially in countries that are WTO members.)
Excise invoice “Original for Buyer copy”, whether  prices are inclusive or exclusive of excise duty.
The invoice in which the Excise duties are included.
As per Indian tax system, Excise duty (16%) is payable by each manufacturing unit on the value of manufactured goods / on the value added. The manufacturing plant is supposed to submit an excise duty report on fortnightly / monthly basis. Various registers (RG1, RG23A, RG23C, PLA) are maintained for that purpose, which record all the transactions including movement of goods, cenvat credit available and cash balance available.
In SAP, we use transaction j1id for configuration and j1iin, j2i7, j1i5, j2i5, j2i6, j1ip for creating, extracting and printing excise invoice.
    *Please reward if this helps**

  • What is the difference between credit memo in invoice year and in next year

    Hi!
I'm new here.I'm study SAP ERP.I don't know what is the difference between credit memo in invoice year and credit memo in next year (asset accounting). Can you show and give me an example, please!
    Thanks and best regards!

    Hi,
Maybe have a look at the SAP Help for further information (http://help.sap.com) : e.g. 'Posting Credit Memos Integrated with Vendor'  or 'Posting a Credit Memo Offset Against a Clearing Account'
Transaction type 105 for credit memo on current acquisition made in the current year, posting key 75. Or transaction type 160 for credit memo on acquisitions from prior years. posting key 75.
Note: determine if the asset was acquired in the current fiscal year or in a closed fiscal year (Display asset values).
If the asset was acquired in a fiscal year that is now closed, correct the past depreciation using a write-up (in that case check out and refer to Posting Write-Ups).
    I hope this helps.
    Kind regards,
    Brigitte

  • What is the difference between the generic accessories and the original apple brand?

I am looking on Amazon for a new cable, wall charger, car charger, and headphones with built in mic. There were a lot of generic brands for cheap and I was wondering what the differences between the apple and the generic brands were. Also I looked on the apple store and they were selling Belkin items. Is Belkin a good brand?

Belkin a a good thrid-party manufacturer. Most generic cable work but some do not. Griffen in another good brand too.

    V$SQL_PLAN
    DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN
dbms_xplan.display_cursor functionV$SQL_PLAN-this is dynamic perfomance view which contain execution plan information for each child cursor loaded in the library cache.
DBA_HIST_SQL_PLAN- data dictionary view also contain execution plan information for each child cursor bun in workload repository.Actually this view captures information from V$SQL_PLAN and is used with the DBA_HIST_SQLSTAT .
dbms_xplan.display_cursor - function displays explain plan of any cursor loaded in the cursor cache. See more information below links:

  • What is the differences between the older version of Oracle Financials and the 11 i

What is the differences between the older version of Oracle Financials and 11i?

Vijay,Thanks for your answer, but I am still not clear about it,I have a instance to describe my question at detail.
If there is a final product A, and the planning strategy for A is 20(MTO), the procurement type of A is F(external procurement) at the view mrp2 in the material master datas.
    step1: I creat a sales order.
    step2: run MRP for A.
step3: transfer the purchase requistion into a purchase order, and the field of acc.***.cat. in the purchase order will be filled out M automatically, because the acc.***.cat. in the planning strategy 20(MTO) is set with E.
Well, the purchase order is created, what is the relationship between the sales order and the purchase order? What will be happened about costing between the SO and the PO?
If I delete the E, I make the PO become a standard PO, what is difference between standard PO and the PO including E?
    Best Regards
    Bob

  • What is the difference between the following cases... ?

    What is the symbol *%2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7* used for?
What is the difference between the following cases about the symbol *%2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7* ?
    Case 1:
    "%NEW_JAVA_HOME%"\bin\java %COH_OPTS% -Xms1g -Xmx1g com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer
    %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Case 2:
    com.tangosol.examples.%EXAMPLE%.Driver contacts %EXAMPLES_DIR%\..\resource\contacts.csv
    %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Thank you

It just passes whatever else was on the command line to the "java" command. So if you have a Windows test.cmd file that looks like this:
java %1 %2 %3 %4 %5 %6 %7Then you can pretty much use "test" anywhere you would use "java", because it passes through its command line parameters (or at least up to 7 of them).

  • What is the difference between the 4th generation ipad and the ipad 3 with retnia display?

What is the difference between the 4th generation iPad and the "New iPad with retina display"? i don't quite understand. are they stilll the same size or would i have to get a different case?

The 3rd and 4th generation iPads are the same size. The 4 has a faster processor, and a little better iSight camera for FaceTime. The 4 also has the lightning connector so your old cable will not work with the iPad 4.
You should always check with the manufacturer of the case to see if it will fit. You can probably do that on the manufacturers website.
This might be of some interest to you.
